- Strong af female MC who doesn't kill people. Well, not directly....
- Reasonably not omniscient and omnipotent MC. Some would argue that she knows too much about some things, but I think those can be sort-of handwaved... I do know some rather random things too....
- Excellent buildup to main conflict. The arcs are all overarching into the climax, and it gets really intense later.
- You get chapters dedicated to the view of other characters, even, dare I say it, cannon fodders. It gives depth to a heck lot of side characters.
- You have chronic Second ML Syndrome (just like me) ??? This will cure you. At least during reading this novel. Lol.
Not-selling points:I'm not complaining though-
- Romance: While I already talked about the romance a bit above, the main romance is surprisingly and delightfully emotionally mature. While the feelings develop quickly, it feels natural, and we're left with the conflict being between two people who are very dedicated to their causes in a way which makes it difficult to realize a future together. There's a twist at the end that's very cliched but it's also very satisfying with where everyone ends up. And yes there's a happily ever after <3
Overall, some may take issue with its lack of novel concepts and some of its more trope-y aspects. However, if you're looking for a fun read, this is one of the better written shojo light novels out there, with a solid plot and entertaining characters.-
Story ★★★☆ - I really liked the story, simple World-Building, but pleasant to read, the characters are very "believable", I lowered the rating because of the V4 & V5 but then came the V6, V7 and V8...
About the V4 & V5
- The romance of the main couple could have been much better developed, and consequently of other couples, my complaint about the characters also falls here, precisely because of the point commented on the "characters" part.
- Author decided to make a spin-off telling the past of Merellis, which is nice, but at the same time unnecessary, and very BORING, the Mother of FMC is the perfect woman, strong, kind, the only "obstacle" is her not being able to do X or Y, because she is a woman, and the work has to focus on that point at all times, the other detail is the training, the author has to focus on it at all times, and it gets incredibly boring.
Character ★★☆ - As I said, the characters are very "believable", with the exception of the group that FMC surrounded itself "pre-Isekai", the problem is in the lack of "difficulty" that these people have, the plot-armor gives FMC are them, the staff is a "do it all", they don't have difficulties with anything, and all that the FMC asks, they can do, is practically play in "Easy Mode", not that it doesn't have its difficulties, but they dilute it TOO MUCH they.
In relation to other characters, as I said, they are very "believable", I liked their development, and I think it's pretty cool, now... The decision that some took from V4 & V5, is questionable. My problem is the main couple, I'll talk about FMC first... Read at your own risk!
- Our FMC, at a certain point in history, says that if her brother assumes the Duchy, she would not see any problem in having a union with Kadhir, since it would be a political union and beneficial for his Kingdom, until then you understand.. But the character's pride is too giant, to simply say "I love you", because, look, the brother could assume the Duchy along with Letícia, Íris and Alfred assumed the Kingdom, and could implement all kinds of fiscal and welfare for the population, but the author chose to marry in another Kingdom, at least it is a strange decision even on the part of the character, and following this bizarre decision, she at various times says that she cares about the people of the Duchy and blah blah blah, but would she quietly marry THE PRINCE OF ANOTHER KINGDOM instead of marrying THE f*ckING PRINCE OF HER KINGDOM? It's very contradictory.
- About Alfred, I found it more bizarre, the guy fought since he was a child to protect himself and his sister, polishing himself in several areas, both knowledge and combat, to get to the end, Letícia simply convince him, that the his place is in Armelia and that she would become Queen, just because she saw herself as a burden and wanted to help her brother... Like, in my humble opinion, this goes completely against the character's proposal, if it was something that was gradually assembled, I would understand, but his decision was very abrupt, both his and his sister's. Couple this with the character's complete inability to declare himself to Iris, was I WAT? Why you do not speak? Where's that claw to fight against everything and everyone? But the character comes and says "ah, I don't want to take away her freedom, she's beautiful like that, free and blah blah blah", ahhhhhh that's very bullshit, even more so as LN herself put him as a very calculating Prince and such.
Art ★★★★★ - They are beautiful, if I have to complain about the Art, it would be the lack of more detailed colored art.

Enjoyment ★★☆ - I really thought the idea was cool, I would have liked the Romance of some characters to have been more detailed, as for the City-Building part, as I said, they were "mid" and the romance followed the same path, the political part was very OK too nothing especially, as I said, simple world-building, but pleasant to read. If I have to point something out... Let's go with spoilers...
- The subtle feminism, which comes with the "clothes" of gender equality, is even valid, the author wants to address these points, the problem is when she doesn't put the reason "things are the way they are", there's no point in staying saying that "AH WOMEN CANNOT ENTER THE ARMY", there is a reason for that, and at no point is it asking "why?", it is simply played, and it gets extremely annoying.
General ★★☆ & 5/10 - I give this note, as it is a more "comfy" story, it has its heavy moments, but as I said, I found the ending to be quite abrupt (V5), and both the Romance and City-Building in LN could have been better developed, also, I found the last 3 volumes very BORING, if I had finished at V5, I would have given it a 7/10, but the other volumes were painful to read, of course this varies from reader to reader ¯_ (ツ) _/ ¯.
