Their dynamic is similar to a cat and mouse, both leads are clever, cunning and ruthless, so it's very fun to watch them taunt and tear apart one another~

While I doubt it count as your traditional enemies to lovers, it definitely has a certain feel to it.

ML wants to eat MC (literally) but said food is not very obedient and he keep getting stabbed by it (and he likes it).

It's a slooow burn, the ML appears every 40-50 chapters, but hey, the s*xual tension is very much there *thumbs up*

....I know it's a bit out of place but before you come at me, let me explain why I'm putting this here.

The romance is slow and the ML doesn't appear much until later on but each appearances are important to the story and his bond with MC. It's a subtle but very well-done thing. It doesn't say much, their relationship is very hard to explain but i guarantee that you, my fellow enemies to lovers fanatics, will definitely like it!

Now, let's get to the main reason I'm putting it here... the MC's team. The romance is slow and didn't really touch my heart until much later (where I completely fell in love) so does that mean there's not much emotional up and downs in the beginning?

WRONG! ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!!

You want to know why i wasn't bored on the emptional part before the romance came crashing at me? Do you see that Loyal Subordinates tag? That Found Family tag? Take your usual enemies to lovers trope but make it abt allies and then found family instead and now you have Bai Liu and his Wandering Circus! Gaslighting, manipulation, extortion, mutilation, attempted mu*ders... they've done it all! 

Each of their character development as well as their relationship with the MC is just? So good??? You might dislike some of them in the beginning but then you end up caring for all of them so much.

Read it for Bai Liu and his obsessive and loyal (and fcked up) minions with abandonment issues! <<less

From what I've heard, the romance is not the main focus of the story but the couple's enemies to lovers dynamic is comparable to the one from This Damned Thirst for Survival (the reason why I'm so insistent on adding it lol).
