In modern times, Qi Ying has been reincarnated and remembers her past life after a tragedy leaves her a deaf, mute orphan. She discovers the General was reincarnated as well and is now the delinquent Ji Rang. Qi Ying immediately shows Ji Rang the same love and devotion she did in her past life making Ji Rang return her feelings despite not having the same memories. In the past life when they were tragically separated, the General was Qi Ying's entire world. In this world where no one shows Ji Rang genuine care, Qi Ying is his entire world. 

This story screams unconditional love and will leave you feeling very fluffy. This is a book where no matter how tragic or happy the circumstances, Qi Ying and Ji Rang will put each other first.

Another regression book - the FL very quickly finds out she has a terminal illness and dies in her past life. On her deathbed, her childhood friend shows up and is devasted he can't heal her. He expresses he still wants to marry her. When she is reborn, it happens to be the day he asked her to marry him in her past life and she agrees. Initially, this is due to her belief she will die soon anyways and although she is not in love with him, she loves him and wants to keep him safe from the tragedy that left him scarred horribly in his past life.... more>>

I have heard mixed things regarding the representation of autism in this book and as a neurotypical person, I cannot attest to that. What I will say is that unlike many other asian novels I've read that feature an autistic character, ML's autism was not "cured" by the FL's love. Instead, we see an insight into how he values her and is willing to develop coping mechanisms and communicate his needs to her so he can make her happy/give her what he thinks a marriage should be like. He still has meltdowns and sensory issues but they learn as a couple how to avoid things that may trigger them when possible. It was really satisfying to read how much FL values the ML and vice versa. Also no evil or negligent parents which is rare.

Similar to the Boss's Little Fairy, FL reincarnates after a tragic ending in the past. Both take place in a classroom setting for at least the first half of the book. Unlike Boss's Little Fairy, the FL and ML weren't in love in their past life. Cheng Chu entered an arranged marriage with Gu Miao in the past and only when he saved her life did she realize that the longtime love she always heard about was herself. When she wakes up in the past, she wants to fix the situation that made her last life fall into ruin but also protect the pure love Gu Miao offered in his final moments. It turns out however the confident businessman she was married to was actually the quiet, poor boy that never spoke in her high school.  

From the first chapter we realize that Gu Miao had loved Cheng Chu a long time so to go back in time and see from his perspective the absolute purity with which he adored Cheng Chu is so beautiful. You get to see both of their POVs and the fact they are finally together in heart not just on paper is so satisfying.

This book features both the FL and ML regressing to their teenage years. FL and ML individually experienced their fair share of tragedies before meeting (FL is loses everything and becomes heavily scarred and ML is sent to prison). They end up married and although they don't have a lot and FL never recovered from her accident, they love each other deeply. Something happens and both are reincarnated as teenagers (although neither knows the other has memories as of chapter 20). 

I'm excited to read about the happiness they can find as a couple without being weighed down by physical and mental pain. I'm hoping for lots of longtime married couple behavior from teens and how this could be perceived by their friends. It broke my heart that the FL's first response after recognizing she had regressed was to try and call her husband's number. FL is already a very endearing character and her approach to being reborn feels very genuine.
