I WANNA HAVE A PROFILE PICTURE SO BAD

OH MY GODDDDDD im so happy to find someone with the same problem as me

If I try to log in into the forum, it tells me "The requested user 'straystar' could not be found." and ughhhh it makes me so mad! And I can't change my profile pic either, I've tried to resize the image into 200 x 200 pixels, I've tried to download the images, I've tried possibly everything! At this point I'll just have to deal with this,,,,,

Kind of glad to know that others are going through the same thing as well, though...

I'm also trying to get a pfp, I'm one of those people that spend hours chasing one !

Got a pfp, I just did on a computer instead of my phone

it's *.jpg, *.png, and *.gif, and recommended to resize the image to 200 pixel max (either horizontal or vertical, whichever's longest) beforehand.

for good measure, save the pictures to your local storage first (while keeping the file name short), and resize the image before upload. surely it's not that hard to do?

Damn. That sounds like a hassle. But I'll try.
Also, I have encountered a new problem. Do you have any suggestions? I can't log in to Novelupdates Forums even though I'am logged in to the main site. I've been continously trying to find ways how to login into the novelupdates forums since I desperately wanna check out something in there using my account but it always says that my account doesn't exist even though it does!!

Hey hey i also tried your suggestion about the profile picture problem and it didn't work . It says my settings has been changed when I uploaded the file but when I checked my profile, it's still the same default picture and I don't know anymore. You know what nevermind. Thank you for the suggestion by the way. This has never happened before on my previous accounts. I don't know why I kept encountering these problems with my new accounts. It's really frustrating. I can only send feedback and go back into reading

@Riewyn try link the image here. some image you found online have issues/bugs that are not visible to the naked eye. weird, but not uncommon. also, you need to verify your account (check you email for it) to get into the forum, if you haven't.

does your password have special characters? try getting rid of those first.

@runsing that is the problem! Novelupdates didnt give me any verification notice in my email and I've been trying to verify my email on the main site but nothing shows up in my email. I've also tried registering here in novelupdates using another email and it still didnt give me a verification notice

. Maybe that is also the reason why i cant have a profile picture. Because I cant verify my account...

It says MY PASSWORD IS INCORECT even though it was automatically saved and I'm 100% sure its the right one because I checked it on the settings.

I don't know anymore this just kept getting ridiculous thank you for trying to help but it just wont work. Bye
