City gets attacked by cat-eared terrorists. We get a sob story of their race where they were genetically modified by humans to boost male childbirth. It worked for like a generation or two, after that children got birth defects. Kemonomimi got exiled, ostracized, shunned and all the bad stuff. MC reaffirms his belief that the current society is shit. (Very similar to the female doctor that saved him)

MC gets bored to death and learns of VR. He learns about the hobbies of his guards and tries them himself. Basically, he is browsing their version of the Internet and plays games, FPS mostly (this will be relevant later).

MC goes to an all-male school. Said school is in VR space. Lessons don't teach anything and all they do is "socialize" with peers. The only "lesson" that we see is them folding origami. All other boys are pieces of sh*t (from mildly annoying to plain awful). He gets into a beef with one of them, punches him and their cities go to war.

The war is also in VR (who would have guessed). They negotiate rules. The rules are basically a deathmatch 750 vs 750 in a city map. Opponent's city has 3000 residents while MC's only around 100. He comes up with an idea to recruit "gamers" who are used to FPS games and can follow orders with a small incentive that the best players will get to meet his wife (meeting him is too scandalous). He also goes to a battlefield and uses himself as a bait. Women lose all reason when they see him and try to jump on him like hungry beasts fully naked while he obliterates them with a machine gun. Remember, it's all a game, everyone is alive. He wins the war, gives another good punch to the f*cker and that where the raws end.
