The main character is not a wimp like average isekai. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty and kick some butt.

Pro- I like the MC and actually really invested into the story

Con- The author is very inexperience and gets really repetitive with different points of views and useless details. I mean bruh get on with the plot.

This actually reminds me over Overlord in the sense that MC is not easily manipulated or thinks with his nether regions. ~Nyan

The writing style is a little hard to enjoy reading and the translation is pretty bad. The story is interesting but the MC is hard to root for with how he is written. It feels more like a Chinese novel which is not immediately a bad thing but in my opinion does not work well in this story.

Actually planned to give this a 3 but I misclicked. It's really interesting if you look at how the kingdom-building progresses. But the other aspects...

The MC is, like the other reviews say, too omnipotent. The way he was built also makes him kind of uninteresting as a character. Most of the characters also have some weird vibe about them. Well, on the other hand, there are interesting characters and interactions as well.

The one thing that really irked me was the pretentious foreshadowing of the author, which can be quite exciting... more>> if used correctly. But the style was overused too much which made the writing style too chuunibyou-ish. Also, the author intentionally goes around storytelling about various characters. This in itself can work well since it gives the readers insight on the motivations of the characters, but this is also done too much. For example, the author gives a quite lengthy background story on a random farmer and why he is mad that his daughter and wife are gonna be sold as s*aves. I mean, really?

Anyway, the story is really interesting, give it a go if you like kingdom building novels. <<less

I'm really enjoying this but the one thing that really bugs me is that the reason he was brought over was because humans from Earth have a higher growth rate than humans from that world. So why is there barely any monster focus? It's a little ridiculous how many human encounters he's had and not a single arc of a dungeon or a raid.

Still four start because he's ruthless, strong from the start, intelligent, and not smug or arrogant.

I love stories that are full of schemes that made this series kind of felt intelligent just by reading it but I absolutely hate the detailed explanation that makes full use of one chapter just to rectify what was happening like "Ryouma likes eating apple. Apple taste good. They are not required to be cooked before eating thus it is simple. Ryouma loves simple thing. Thus, Ryouma loves apples". You see how incredibly s*upid and waste of times it is to read something that's being explained so thoroughly that you... more>> have to miss the plot action to be in the same chapter. And too much multiple POV is another thing that's really turn me down with this series. It's not that bad, but it's a chore just to read this series that sometimes makes me sleepy instead of getting excited. <<less

I usually don't write hate review but this one needs it cause because of description and starting chapters it fooled me.

story/plot- politics, kingdom building, war tactics centered. But there are many loopholes and some can't be ignored. (3/5)

protagonist -not your generic isekai one smart, cunning. (3/5)

character development -very bad. Very less information or background about his friends, loyal servants and his harem but mob character which are going to die in 3-4 chapters have more development than them, at one stage the twins became background chara who only... more>> helps MC with governing the city and to stick to him like bodyguard (1/5)

writing style- very bad not attractive and look like author is in serious need of an editor as there are many filler chapters about mood of room, and why a guy that died 70+ chap earlier is very big fool and many other useless nonsense it's like author is paid for writing extra word. (1/5)

at the end if you are going to read then read LN version as it will contain less useless info, loophole and make more sense. <<less

Dropping this novel. Started good, right now the story is full of info dump, wanna know what im talking about? Go to the latest chapters.

one chapter is like MC does something, even as mundane as walking into a room, says one line then rest of the chapter is bs info dump. And it's not only one chapter that's like this, but every chapter in this volume is like this.

Surprisingly this one got decent start. MC that not half-ass, get thing done without some strange plot like "wow this one enemy look dangerous but he/she will surely come to my side if I talk to him" and try to get information from some if "he can get it" not always get it trought plot story. But this one isekai world people is too much. They are all really dumb. This make me want to drop it. Maybe I will put it on hold for now.

if you dont really care... more>> about other character other than MC then this one good enough for you to read it (this is my reason to not give 1 star). <<less

Well I can't really tell from which chapter since I almost read everything in 1 day... but the last 50 chapters have been really painful to read.. pointless filler and countless pov of useless character.
There is any character development whatsoever, only few lines to remind us about how MC is :

-crafty, smart, snake, op

-good natured face but not handsome/ old face

... more>> -well built for his age, (as of late chapters it shifted to average build ?)

His former friends are pushed to the background as mere aide : "the beautiful face" (twin) , old man (ninja), fierce warrior (Lione). Of course since the MC is so op, one aide will stand in awe, the other one will feel chill down their spine/amazed/fear/scared after sparring 1 or 2 lines of report with him

The pace is inconsistent, in book 6 the plot has almost not evolved after 17 chapters while in book 1 he didn't need 5 chapters about 5 different pov to build up a climax/atmosphere...

3/5 because the 3 first book were quite enjoyable <<less

The author really likes to explain every detail up to the smallest part and it will go on and on until he can get a whole chapter. That makes it too exhausting to read. You can say that if you put a title at every chapter you will Instantly know what will happen in that chapter even without reading it.

This novel is not for everyone and it's hard to recommend so I will just list some pros and cons and you can decide what to do with them.

Starting with the pros

This is one of the few novels that takes a realistic approach to the kingdom building aspect, while other authors will just write half a dozen chapters about crop rotation and how the MC will teach farmers how to farm, this one actually did his homework and the MC put on an effort to build and nurture his domain,... more>> the diplomatic relations and political conflict are well written to the point where it seems that it's a middle ages history book that got hit with an isekai narrative.

The world building is great even though we're not that deep in the story yet and the writing style is very decent, the story so far is good since the novel is more reliant on it than the characters.

Now the cons

in what world would a 16 years old japanese high schooler would kill six armed knights and a court magician only seconds after being summoned? If he was soldier or something along those lines I would have believed that he would have some chance at it.

But you know what? That's fine there's 7 billion people on this planet who can say for sure that a high schooler like that doesn't exist and would with some luck pull off such a feat, but when you add that he's a genius at politics warfare country management trading and diplomatic relations enough to make all other characters including monarchs ministers and generals stand in awe of his competence at them that's a bit much for a 16 year old, the worst part is how much the author praise and try to make the MC a perfect existent that the whole world revolves around and the other characters only exist to praise him if they are allies and to fall in despair if they are enemies

Although I like the writing style but sometimes it seems that the author thinks that his readers are sub 90 IQ teenagers so he has to over explain everything in a simple way and turn the novel into a politics for dummies book to make them understand it and he doesn't seem to be able to write a decent fight to save his life, don't get me wrong the political part is really well written it's just that explaining the sh*t out of it even if it's simple is annoying.

One of the biggest problems that the novel has is the lack of a decent characterization, most of the main characters are bland and uninteresting that includes the MC too no matter how much the author tries to make a gary stu out of him he still has the japanese mc's usual blandness. However, the manga did improve that part about him so I hope the WN take the same approach in the future.

Lastly plot convenience, the first example I can think of is when he conveniently found 2 s*ave girls who are conveniently beautiful and conveniently know a magic that enables them to change masters whenever they liked, I know the plot have to move forward somehow but doing it for something unnecessary such as getting s*ave girls for the sake of wish-fulfillment is not OK.

Since the MC have high modern morals he decides to set them free but guess what? They beg him to let them be his s*aves and serve him out of gratitude so the MC ''reluctantly" except their offer, seriously if you want your MC to have s*ave harem that's fine but stop beating around the bush and just make him buy them at least it's better than the bullsh*t excuse for having s*aves because they want to be his s*aves. <<less

I guess... not bad? It had a non-cliche start, at least. But the MC is still very generic - a nice, polite guy that doesn't want to see others die and the usual stuff on JP MCs. The only thing different is that he's a bit more aggressive with fighting and he actually looks jacked as sh*t compared to those skinny ass white bois, but I don't really see any character development on the tables regarding him being a kind, generous fellow. He kinda bores me, so it's not my... more>> type of novel.

The harem girls seem kinda boring as well, they're not tsunderes at least so that's good, but... I don't really see any difference in their personalities... <<less

Novel is good, but all the politics baffle me a bit. Politics and reading people is one thing you need a lot of practice and ability to gain information from wide variety of things. And MC was all about not being bound to anything in start and although he is smart, he is still really young. And it didn't seem like he was someone who was used to leading scheming etc etc. Or did something that entails things like that in his former world.

So my conclusion is while its ok... more>> read, the story doesn't really match with how MC was portrayed. At one point he was roaming the world, and pretty much without any explanation he just goes straight to politics. And as there isn't really much/any character development or even even rise in strength it get bit boring. There is initial explanation about how people get stronger killing stuff, but there is literally no mention about MC getting power from killing stuff after that.

Falls down to a typical Japanese slice of life = boring writing style. Pretty much no emotions like excitement or whatever can be felt reading this. Its more like list of things he does. <<less

Started off good but progressively got worse. Like really bad.

Author started giving chapters and chapters of useless information. To the point where entire chapters were dedicated to useless crap like describing utensils. Its not even a joke. It's totally terrible.

Good potential but badly executed, or at least the execution getting worse. Started decently, but starting from volume 4, Author started to info dump even smallest things and repeating it over and over using different way of speaking, which made what should be an one-liner sentence to became one chapter.

I rarely make a comment but this story....

Really it start good, but upto vol 4, the author start milking it up and info dump everything. Hearing cost a full volume, and up until now (even I read directly from the raw) it definitely shows that the author get confused, milking the story and became lost it.

This is painful to read. It's one of those series where everyone but the MC is brain-dead. Even he's no genius though. I usually don't mind plot holes. Most of the books I've read where people complained about plot holes I barely noticed. This one has such huge gaping idiotic plot holes that it's just maddening.

This book tries to be smart and serious but it's just hot garbage.

I think that this is really the work about isekai which is enough of everything. The plot is quite interesting as the main character. For fans of the genre this will be a pleasant opening that will make you wait for new chapters

Generally interesting story, very slow plot as the author rambles through most of the chapters. Chapter seem overly thought out and pointless the verbose. The story drags as entire chapter are dedicated to comparing the rule, mechanics and customs of the two worlds the MC has live in. Similarly are the decisions made by the characters over analysed. Another big flaw of the book is that plots get built up to have unsatisfying conclusions, what I mean by this is that you never read the conclusion of a fight or... more>> battle you just read about the aftermath all while you've spent the last 5 to 10 chapters reading the overly thought out and verbose actions and thoughts of every significant character involved. Instead of giving the audience the moment of release at the end you jump straight to the aftermath. Very unsatisfying, I think the author is some kind of c*ck tease. <<less
