Was Cinderella’s Stepsister really a villain?

A love story with the charm of a villain in a fairy tale.

When I woke up, I found myself in an unfamiliar space.
Did I drink so much that I lost consciousness? Then maybe a one-night stand?
But what unfolds before my eyes is an unbelievable reality.

This only happens in the romance fantasy novels I read while running through all my cash…

5 stars, it's tagged as smut and it delivers the smut.

The opening manages smut and a very interesting hook to the story. It has me wanting to see where the story goes. I am a bit worried that with 8 chapters there won't be much story to accompany the smut. What there has been so far is very well written and very comprehensible especially for a Korean translation. Thumbs up to the translation team.

Bottom line: So far so good. But, if you don't like smut, stay away.

It was short, sweet but also pretty realistic. Their toilet thing they did back then was the one that stuck with me the whole tine after I read that part lmaoo ty for translating !

There is 10 chapter include prologue and epilogue. If you are here to find explicit smut and hope all the chapter have smut, I think you will be disappointed cause the smut only in some chapter like maybe 3 chapter. But, if you here cause the plot, juat go for it. The plot pretty okay.

Wholesome transmigration with hot steamy smut. There are flowery words but not to the extent where it'd bother me, at least.

Both plot and service here are well balanced and I enjoyed every aspect of this very short story! Loved the MC's humorous inner monologues as well.

This is one of the different version of cinderella story with a realistic touch (except for the fairy godmother and glass slipper of course). The most realistic things about this story were:

    • MC's struggle to live with so many limitations in a medieval era, especially the toilet. She was also quite depressed for some times until she came to an acceptance. It's just that, why was nobody suspect her yet? Although the idea of transmigration was still unbelievable but people from that era should still be a bit superstitious, right?
    • Cinderella couldn't easily marry the prince although they loved each other. It's somewhat understandable because although Cinderella came from a count family, she had no power and no money thus she couldn't bring any advantage to the kingdom. Although in the end she could marry the prince, it's considered a hard marriage because she was shunned by everyone except for the prince. Don't know whether her marriage could last or not.

The other highlight of this story was of course the sm*t scene. Although there were not many of them (at most just around 3 chapters total), they're still quite hot.

First ML is So lovable *.* no kidding I loved him. He is so much better than prince and I love it when MC mentions how tr*shy princes in fairy tails are and how hard it is for princesses to live "their happy ever after married life".

ML did fall in love very quickly but I guest MC was still in fairytail land lol anyway I did enjoy the stoy and TL.♡

This was a delightful surprise of a story.

Good translation. Hadn't read original source but the storytelling was pleasant and refreshing. Quick sketch of a tale, felt just right though of course I wished for a little more detail of how they got married.

I didn't think this was real smut. There was interc**rse but it was sweetly written and wasn't tortuous or violent.

Liked the twist from the traditional Cinderella villainess characters. Character actions matched motivations.

Good read, definitely re-readable.

It's been awhile since I read a smut novel but this really fluttered my heart~lol.

I'm not into romance since reality about the topic sucks but this story, albeit short, was actually interesting and fun to read. The plot reflected both reality and fiction, whether its political or about the historical settings. Although the romance was something that will make you shout, "you can't just marry a man you just met!", like Elsa did to Anna, I don't know but for me, the romance between the MC, Cinderella's stepsister, and the... more>> ML was cute.

There wasn't a lot of the smexier scenes but it's well narrated and written in this short story.

Anyways, I love it~

It was sooo short...I want moreeee😭😭😭

Anastasia and Drake stole my heart. Both of them had great chemistry despite the fall in love at first sight trope.

We finally witness the fairytale like happily ever after for Cinderella's stepsister. Despite being so short, the novel gave perspective to a more realistic approach to Cinderella's story.

There was no annoying villains either. The snu snu scenes were also spicy although minute. I liked it a lot. Short but great!

fun!

short and sweet but doesn't shy away from the complications of living in the past before decent plumbing was popularized.

i like the fl. Her reaction is very believable. I feel like our brain would try to rationalized everything before we actually believe that we transmigrated into a novel.

the ML is ok. I just like the smut tbh. It's spicy but they also don't distract from the plot. Even if said plot is short and simple.

wouldn't neccesarily reread this but it's fun for what it is.

omggg I loved it sooo much lyk how its the glass slipper for the main couple its a magic ring for them, so cute how he proposed her before doing the deed with her. I loved this version of cinderella, the characters of the others r so good nd justifiable nd it got me to never wish to travel back to the past era :) coz poop be dropping frm air near the house. But good story nd how cinderella life was oof

Rare to have a smut story about Cinderella's stepsister. I kind of liked the more realistic storytelling of Ella and her step family, where the stepmother and stepsisters weren't villains. And the whole Happily Ever After was just a PR move. It's understandable in reality, a nobody who marries into royalty wouldn't be as pleasant as depicted in the original story.

I'm glad the FL was able to get her own happily ever after story. The romance isn't too deep, where all the romances are under the trope of Love at... more>> First Sight. So if you believe in that, it's as romantic as it gets.

Cinderella's magical fairy or even the FL's magical proposal ring aren't really explained.

Overall, both the FL and ML are quite likable characters. <<less

It's honestly a good story, and I would have enjoyed it to be a little longer. This story has potential. It has a little more realistic intake about the Cinderella story. You'll love the ML, and I agree with the MC that between him and the inexperienced prince, I would prefer the mature ML. It's an eight-chapter story, but it gave a lot of details. Such as the little conspiracy in the royal family, although it's not too detailed.

The smut is not too heavy on this one. Rather, you would... more>> enjoy the story and romance more.

In the story, we see the MC struggle with medieval inconveniences. These inconveniences are usually ignored in most novels. The MC tried to adapt, but failed.

I also relate to the MC for not knowing Anastasia's family name.

We also get to see a much more down to earth Madam Tremaine. As a woman widowed twice, her melancholy and worries are understandable.

The romance is also a wonderful read. Drake, our ML, did not force MC nor was he a yandere. His feelings for the MC were sincere. Before the smut, he proposed to her. I won't go into details so as not to spoil too much. However, I give him 100% my love and support for that.

I rate this 4/5 stars. Likewise, I would have rated it 5 stars if it was a bit longer. This was an enjoyable read. <<less

Honestly, I love any twisted fairy tale. This was a good take on Cinderella. I like that the step sisters and step mom didn't really treat Cinderella like a s*ave. The step mom was laid back and Anastasia is mean only for the plot to progress in Ella's favor. I like that the glass slipper fits any one girl, but wont allow them to move if they're not the true owner.

I love that the ring Drake gave Anastasia has a magic of it's own to prove that she is the only owner as well.

There's so much idea contained in this twisted fairy tale that it makes me want to read more twisted Cinderella fairy tales.

At first I did read it only because it was smut, but in the end the plot and story devices got to me. The smut was just extra stuff. <<less

What a lovely story! It’s not too heavy on smut but it’s definitely there! It’s a rare short story that squeezes my heart and makes me smile like an idiot. I love it so much that I’m actually about to reread it! And I just read it!!

For a short story smut, this was actually pretty good. We didn't dwell too much on the snu snu scenes thus a story was fleshed out well. And when we do get to the snusnu scenes, it was also delicious teehee

A qualitative variation of the story of Cinderella, the author did a good job of striking a balance between realism and the original fairy tale, humor and smut. I'm usually wary of smut stories because the writers add too many smut scenes, but there are only a few of them here - the plot is in the foreground.

IMHO, this story would be absolutely brilliant if it was longer (maybe 50-70 chapters?) with the same plot and more detailed in terms of relationships and character psychology. But even in the form... more>> in which it is now, it is very pleasant.
