There’s plenty of emotional shifts throughout the story and it kept me fully pulled in for the last few days. I admit I want a but of development on Riftan and Max opening up more truthfully but the anticipation is definitely part of the hook. I’ll be excitedly waiting for more chapters!
There is also a lot of suspense as they will soon battle against monsters. ≪3
I do recommend everyone to read Riftan's side of the story to get to understand him better. He is precious. And so is Maxi.
