Alas is such a waste as the book really has the potential!!! But the author rush things and there is no proper closure.

The MC is not ambitious but smart to hold her ground. She is playful and cute but then again the book left readers hanging!!!

ML is just like an accessory to the plot although he also a great potential. The book hasn't even opened his background yet until the end and well, their relationship is also left us hanging in the end.

Arghhh I feel so mad that the book... more>> really do have potential only if the author has the patient to develop the plot slowly. All the twists are good but not too much, the characters also enjoyable and the book is a light read if done properly!

Overall, the book is incomplete and left readers hanging but honestly, it has the potential to be a good read. It's a shame that this book is like eating a chick instead a whole grown up and proper chicken :) <<less

This book feels incomplete, I don’t know if it was meant to end at 45 chapters but it sure as heck was abrupt. I enjoyed the beginning and the story had a lot of potential; however it all fell flat when the author rushed to end the story. It truly was a weird place to end a novel.

There are actually 48 Chapters. The book ends at 45 and then it has 3 Extra. Some illegal sitebthat have raws only got Chap 1-45, they didn't include the extra

To be honest, the book is not the best one that I have read, but it's actually good. I like it.

I really like the story but the ending was a bit abrupt. Like it was suddenly stopped. It was such a shame because the story have so much potential.

The plot is quite interesting but the pacing of the story is quite fast. I am not a fan of the pacing and usually prefer the story to be more developed but it kinda works for the story.

Some parts of the story feels not connected. Like it was this one scene then suddenly another scene. I have to back to the previous... more>> chapter to see if I was missing anything.

As said before the ending was abrupt. There were so many parts in the story that seems to be planned for some drama/subplot in the story but never used or are not developed to its full potential.

The man she save at the beginning (qi Jing xi) seems to have some kinds of identity that adds to the storyline but he only appears in 1-2 chapter.

The MC real identity as the daughter of the Jiang family is never explored more.

The clause in her ex-husband family that said she can't marry for 3 years never comes into play.

The oriMale lead (stepson) first love doesn't appear at all even though stepson think of her a few times and the MC said in the original novel she is going to be back from abroad.

The oriHeroine mother's who supposedly transmigrated into the novel after reading it because she wants to save the heroine fate.

The fact that oriHeroine and oriMale lead are half siblings.

This are just a couple things that seems to be used as foreshadowing for future storyline/twist but never got the chance to be used because of the abrupt ending. I quite like MC character and a few other character but because the story pacing their full potential is not fulfilled.

Overall, an interesting plot and character but fails to meets it full potential. <<less

It ended abruptly. I didn't look at the chapter content and for real I was waiting for an update. So completely unfinished. Don't bother wasting your time with it.

The first chapter was good. I'm a fan of the quality of the translation, because it was really flawless and looks thoroughly edited to perfection.

However, something is wrong with the link to chapter 2. I click on it and get to a foxhaholic page with a link to chapter 2. I click on the new link and get asked to sign in to Wordpress. I don't have an account and don't want to create one on Wordpress, and it seems to be impossible to access the chapter without an account.

Solving... more>> that would raise my rating to a 5 stars. <<less

Alright, it took me around 2 hours to read half the book. And it should say a lot, since the plot of the story can really be developed into 100+ chapters.

What I've read so far seems more like an outline. The writing itself is good (as far as the MTL goes), but yhe story is fragmented. I found myself wondering whether I'm missing some chapters, or the site where I am reading the novel has incomplete chapters, missing sentences, etc.

As far as I could tell - no. This book is just that rushed. In one chapter the FL is still auditioning, in the next - she's already riding in the back of the car and being kidnapped. No explanation, it just happened. Then, in the same chapter she's rescued in a way which leaves me completely baffled. What? Why? When? How come? Are the questions appearing in my mind.

Anyway, it's kind of a short, mindless read. It can be taken as a general story of this genre crammed with the most important parts, with no necessary or unnecessary fillers in the way.

  1. Just do not like the femalelead. She is too greedy, shameless, opportunist for her own good. I did not notice even a thread of humility in this 2 chapters (raw) where there are plenty situations where she could use them.
