Awakened, Song Weizhi discovers that she has transmigrated into the malicious supporting female character from a novel she read before her sudden death. The original body seized the parents and fiancé of the Female Lead, who received meticulous cultivation from childhood, recognized as a cultivation genius in the city, while the Female Lead suffered abuse since childhood, and was brought back by her biological father only to be revealed as a half-spirit root tr*sh. Guided intentionally or unintentionally by the original body, the Female Lead endured the cold eyes and torment of her clan, ultimately being pushed down the Blood Demon Cliff and falling into the demonic path.

Later, the Female Lead, Song Zhixia, became the world’s greatest demon. She turned the original body into minced meat sauce and fed it to her spiritual pets.

*

Song Weizhi, who just transmigrated: I must treat the Female Lead well; I don’t want to end up as minced meat sauce!

So, the newly returned Female Lead was tested and found to have half-spirit roots. Song Weizhi: The Female Lead just needs to be cute; strength doesn’t matter.

The Female Lead is disliked by her relatives; Song Weizhi: It’s okay; I’m also your family.

The Female Lead is bullied by people from other clans; Song Weizhi: She’s mine; I’d like to see who dares to touch her.

Later, the Female Lead, blushing, said in Song Weizhi’s arms, “Senior Sister, I want you~”

Song Weizhi (shocked): What happened to being sisters? Well, whatever, you can have my life!

I finished reading this with MTL, so here's a quick review.

Pros:

  • MC and FL get together quite soon
    Spoiler

(at around chapter 40), with no romance drama and/or heart breaking unrequited love scenes, which is refreshing to me. That means we get to see them flirt around quite a lot (they're so sweet I might have diabetes just from reading lol).

    [collapse]
  • MC IS THE TOP!!! This is like, super rare in this type of story from my experience. Honestly, I was tempted to give this 5* just from this lol
  • Spoiler

Coincidentally, the FL and the original ML keeps meeting. However, because the original ML is a normal, decent person with his own thoughts and belief, he doesn't blindly fall in love with the FL like in the original story to create unnecessary drama.

    [collapse]
  • the side couple is introduced rather late, but they're also s*upidly cute together.
Cons:

  • the characterization of the MC is quite flat at the start, but pick up once she and the FL interacts more.
  • the villains are a bit too simple, like cartoon-ish level of evil. Don't expect any complicated/complex schemes here.
  • the pacing.
    Spoiler

1-40 is kinda slow, 40-50 is pretty fun as they get to flirt around a lot and then around 55 things just went from 0 to 100 in seconds.

    [collapse]
Also, things got quite gory/violence at the last part.
anw, overall, it's a fun and quick read (I finished the entire thing in ~5hrs), especially if you just throw your brain away and don't question the logic of things.

Personally, I give this 3.5*. However, NovelUpdates doesn't have that, so I will give this 4* because while the story is simple, I did enjoy reading it.

I just finished reading the whole story (I used the premium option to open chapters). It was a very enjoyable story as the MC helps the "FML" to receive a better story ending then what was suppose to happen & it also helps the MC to change her stories fate & get another chance at life.

I LOVE THIS! There's quick love and MC is flirty but also dense. Lots of cultivation. Cute, determined, jealous FL. Its a shame that it costs money to read after chap 36

This novel was quite enjoyable. Over a half is mostly one arc and later things are getting faster. It could go another way but tbh it was nice. Fast pieced novel and worth of this time

This is a pretty good romance story set in a cultivation world with some light system elements. Normally system and cultivation tags being together on a novel is enough to scare me away from reading, but I always try to give things a fair shake. Especially if that thing is a yuri story.

It's actually pretty decently done and the cultivation aspect is well laid out without constant excessive explanations about the realms and tiers of each level. It's still a bit easier to understand if you already know about a... more>> bit of cultivation novels before reading this one, but it tends to 'show' more than 'tell', and it does so over time instead of dumping a mountain of paragraphs constantly explaining everything. It's still a bit bogged down with cliches, but the writer works with them well enough.

The system is almost irrelevant up to the point that I've read, acting more like a 'Deus Ex Machina' shop for anything she needs to handle any given situation. For example...

Spoiler

She uses her saved up points to buy some kind of cannon and ammo to kill a dragon in a secret realm where they can't use spiritual energy

Rizatus talked about it getting violent towards the end and I definitely believe that based on what's already happened in the story. There's already been a bit of graphic violence and a bit of body horror in the story that happened in chapter 31. If the later chapters are even close to chapter 31 then I expect things could get pretty ugly. With a cultivation novel I kinda expect it though. Sometimes cultivation novels talk about being 'ruled by the strong' but then they simply resolve things in a way that's a little too PG-13. This one hasn't shied away from what the ugliness of 'the strong' might look like.

The romance has been really cute, I can't tell if Song Weizhi understands that she's being flirtatious with Song Zhixia or if she's just dense and follows her instinct with how she acts. She cuddles, snuggles, rubs noses, and is just all around touchy feely from very early on. And it just gets spicier from there.

It's a good story, I'm really enjoying it. <<less

Spent more than $40 to finish the whole series TT so it was good enough for me to spend money on it.

The whole premise is that the MC gets transmigrated into a novel where in the end, she gets grind up into pieces and fed to the LI's spirit pet. So, to avoid this, she treats the LI really really well (protects her, takes care of her, etc., etc.) which causes the LI to fall for her without the MC knowing. The MC doesn't even really know that she's falling... more>> in love with the LI until last minute.

The story is pretty well-written and good. During the end, it got a bit violent which I don't mind, but the switch up threw me off because at the last 5-7 chapters, they just go wild. It did make the ending feel a bit rushed, but it was good overall (enough to spend $40 TT). The translations were good. There were some mistakes with pronouns, but you get the jist of it. <<less
