ml's third brother was spoiled and arrogant. he was a scholar who kept failing his exam but for some reason had an unfounded confidence that he would succeed, eventually draining his family's savings. he also married ml's then fiancé while ML was in the military. the buildup was nice, I thought his wife would divorce him because he was just so entitled and useless. but in the end his wife was mentioned in passing that he gave birth to another child. wild. even a canon fodder character who commited adultery had his own extra (his new husband was nice and didn't care that he previously got expelled from his ex-husband's village because of adultery).

another confusing thing was suddenly a woman appeared in this world that only had men and gers. she gave birth to a daughter and died. then the baby followed soon. like?? what was that fooor? lolll it felt like reading a discovery of strange species and then the specimen died and then?? nothing. that was funny ngl.

well, at least chen qi got his happy ending. his family forced him to divorce his wife because they thought his wife was infertile. they married him to another ger and later that ger cheated on him and got pregnant. chen qi finally reconciled with his ex-wife who sent him a marriage proposal after he knew chen qi was already divorced. I honestly don't understand why he didn't explain clearly to his family that he was the one who was infertile and proceeded with his second marriage and angsting for yearrrsss. guess if the ger didn't cheat on him he wouldn't do anything hhhh

Our ML Li Changfeng had a fiance named Wang Li, the most beautiful ger in his village.

His third brother Li laosan whom I love to call "third moron" (you'll know why I call him as such if you read the novel) went ahead and wrote ML's name instead of his own into the military recruitment, causing ML to be sent off to the army in his stead before ML even got the chance to get married.

As soon as ML was gone to serve his 5 years of military duty, Li Laosan secretly ran to the Wang family behind everyone's back and proposed marriage to his future sister-in-law. Since he was a scholar, the Wang family naturally agreed instantly, not caring about the original engagement to ML whatsoever. So ML's third brother and his fiance got married, without any problem or rejection from both the Li and Wang families.

Naturally, that moron very happily wrote a letter to inform ML about it. When ML returned, his fiance had become his third sister-in-law who had already given birth to a child and ML became an outcast in his own family. His parents were biased to their scholar son, and Li Laosan constantly made trouble by scolding ML and insisting for him to leave the family. Naturally he didn't get rebuked or scolded by the parents for this at all.

this person is first mentioned in Chapter 104. With Chapter 105 being the end of the main story, so you can imagine the influence of this to the plot. Correct, there's no influence. So you can basically just ignore that. At least from my POV, as I can't understand the author's thoughts on why they suddenly added a woman to the story [s] (especially since I haven't read the last chapter or the extras, because my dearest YanYan hasn't uploaded those chapters yet xD) [/s].

Edit: As I said, the woman appearing at the end of the novel for ONE chapter has no influence to the story itself. She also doesn't appear in person but is just mentioned to MC as an oddity.

third? Brother always messing with his older brother that apparently raised him; it doesn't make sense and you'd think that being raised by him would make him less of a waste.

Well, there are really too many side CPs here (I mostly drop novels with side cps ahdksj) but since it’s a rare ger novel, I still continued haha

One of them, the little ger brother of ML... he’s really so precious and he was so happy at first, but... did he really have to suffer so much O-O his third brother hit him and he became deaf for a while (without knowing if he’ll ever recover) his family never protected him, never blamed the third brother, nothing... so yeah this little guy was really heartbroken! After some time he found a great husband, he got pregnant, and then?! The wife of the third brother was pregnant, slipped, the little brother wanted to help, slipped with him, both fell and both miscarried... wth... really, he got pregnant again way later but that really was a heavy blow. If I understood correctly, he didn’t even let ML and MC near, in case something happened and he miscarried again... must have been so traumatizing... He really didn’t deserve this ah QAQ why make him suffer authorrr

he didn’t use his space ability very much, except the spring water. And mostly only help friends or his own family. And I also liked how MC accepted becoming a „mom“ so fast. Because, yes I can understand that anyone suddenly in his situation wouldn’t be able to accept it so fast and adapt, but... tbh it’s really a pain to read about them struggling and fighting because of this. I just want to see them be happy ah... anyways, I liked that he adapted fast haha I also liked how ML didn’t make MC tell him everything (about the space etc) idk, if MC wanted to tell, so be it. But I also like the attitude of ML not caring, but just caring about the well-being of „wife“ and children~

And so funny~ ML is so nice and caring and soft towards MC that I always forget, that he had an cold and uncaring personality towards others hahhaha

Oh!! And what else I kinda liked, was that MC didn’t sell all those future inventions. He made use of it to help his family lead a stable life, but that’s also it! When he those stones to make ice cream or whatever that was; ML reminded him not to let others know, and he of course agreed! Idk but seeing him wanting to lead a simple life, but that fame and riches is also quite good to see~ (Not like some other MC buying more and more land, plating more and more stuff, with all those fruit trees etc haha not that I’m complaining tho~ Those novels are of course good too!)

why, in the end, they added the appearance of a woman (with b**bs and all that). She got pregnant and had a baby girl and died (the girl apparently lived on). So yeah idk what was the point? Maybe bc I mtl-ed it, so I couldn’t understand, but yeah... I wonder why)

"oh my friends wife run due to feeling sh*t she couldn't have kids. Oh well, nothing I can do now let's wait. " And weren't they right, immediately the next day the ML went to help, the wife had returned home. Look, my other very good friend has problems with his wife leaving the house after his parents suggested he get a concubine due to not having children but who are we to interfere? Man, just what?!

the 3rd brother never got his comeuppance. It didn’t have to come from the 2nd brother but that useless pos should have faced some sort of retribution. Same goes for his useless spouse, who just existed to do nothing but be a reminder of how awful the 3rd brother was.

about the inclusion of a woman into the story, just for the purpose of her being r*ped and her and her baby dying. I know MC realistically couldn’t do anything for her but he didn’t even try. He had damn space that could vanish people into it, he could have at least tried to use it but nope.

basically doesn't use the space at all, only occasionally giving small drops to injured people who would have healed anyway. And he barely uses his modern knowledge, just a handful of times for making better food or small, useful furniture like a crib.
