Its funny and cute. There is some nonsense in the plot that isn't logical but its kinda brushed over so you forget about unless you read about it, then you forget about it again. Overall written pretty well, translation is great, characters are a bit outlandish in their talents and IQ/EQ but the comical undertones kinda even it out.

I expected at some point that ML would eventually propose to remarry MC. But when he actually did, the way he did the proposal not only surprised MC, but even I was caught off guard when reading the part lol.. Because at that time MC thought that she was doing a favor for an actor friend because said actor planned to propose to her close friend. But turned out that her close friend was also involved in a scheme to surprise MC with a proposal by ML. The whole part started out hilarious, unexpected, then very touching. Thumbs up for ML (and ML's younger brother who also contributed a lot with his lessons & tips lol

Overall, this is a fun, light-hearted story with many small plot twists and a hint of suspense.

I just started reading this at ShainaG translations. It was quite a good start. I like the conversations between the father and son, and between the 2 siblings. I stopped reading the "the wife of powerful huo shao" as I can't stand it anymore so it is really a good thing reading something light and funny like this. Hope the progress and plot is good.. Looks like I have to finish this at MTL

Love this. The only thing I got disheartened towards the ML is the fact that he married someone else in the past life and have a daughter as that. Hmmmm anyway he died in the past life for his and MC daughter so I guess that's fine.

Love reading this as I finished but I'm not going to read this again for that trivial reason as well (Ｔ▽Ｔ) Ha ha ha

Biggest thumbs up for the maturity of our FL👏 finally! Different from other fl's. Not only that her wise words s unstoppable. I just wish that all FL is like her. Sometimes it's good to have a narcissist FL! It's fvckn funny but cool.

Initially I was misled by some reviews leading me to be confused with how the story goes but after reading it myself I will give it at least a 4.

It is an amusing story that made me laugh out loud several times. It is an entertaining read with some fun face-slapping moments. It is however, a story that I won't take so seriously. I feel like author forgets some plot points that they planned as well, as some sub-plots simply disappear or are forgotten. Some people that I expected to... more>> be face-slapped are also forgotten and just part of the background which left me dissatisfied. Regardless it is an entertaining read and I would recommend it.

Basically our MC is a lady who had a hard life originally. She was born from a poor family and had to learn to be a green tea woman to survive well but in the end she was

killed by an ex-boyfriend who made her life miserable if I'm reading the MTL correctly. There were a lot of mentions of her being left in an alley bleeding and that is how she died which I find very sad.

She then transmigrates into the paralyzed body of a woman who had met with a car accident and now must fulfill the wishes of the oriMC in order to live a good life with riches. She has a gold finger which is to quickly recover from paralysis and also to learn the piano fast. The oriMC's wish is to be a world-renowned pianist as her father was before her.

MC is a divorcee and initially had a daughter with the husband, she left that family when daughter was 2 and found out she was pregnant with her 2nd child. She decided to raise her 2nd child by herself. However, oriMC was very depressed. She had major depression (from what I could infer from the story) and had a hard time but she really did do her best to raise her 2nd child. Her 2nd kid, a boy, is very witty and smart for a 3 year old which doesn't make much sense in reality but I ignored all that as he provides a lot of fun to the novel. When she is transmigrated to a new body, in order to prevent her child was suffering further, she calls her ex-husband who then takes care of her. MC actually plans to live with him and change the trajectory of the son and daughter's life as they had a miserable life in this novel world.

Once her tasks are done, she actually planned to leave them with the ex and for her to pursue oriMC's wish. Eventually ex-husband falls in love with her again and they get together. The romance is slow-build but very realistic as both MC and ML are calm. ML is not an over-bearing CEO but he does have a temper and loves his children so so much.

This story is full of family vibes which I enjoyed. The 2nd kid is very witty and is like his mum, the MC. So smart! The 1st kid, the girl has a bad temper due to feeling as if she was abandoned as a child and did not know how to regulate her emotions. She is more straight-forward like her father and doesn't know how to be as witty as her little bro. But that makes it all the more funny when she learns how to survive like her mum and bro. They also meet the "protagonist" of the novel who supposedly will suppress the siblings (Wei Lie is his name). MC will treat him well as she feels sorry for all the sh*t he goes through. WL is then adopted into the family (unofficially) and it is just so good of the MC to talk to him seriously like an adult and protect him. MC knows WL has led a hard life and isn't like a normal child and she communicates with him seriously. I love that.

There were moments where I cried too. When 2nd kid reveals the burden that he faced when his mum was initially hospitalized and no one really helped them and he went hungry for a long time just to protect his mum. Seriously this fic has funny moments, heartwrenching moments... I enjoyed it.

What I didn't like was the forgotten subplots or subplots that were hinted at, wrote halfway about and then nothing.

For example, the friend Zhang Bingya and her new bf Yu came into the novel suddenly and disappeared just as quickly. The guy Wen with his gf who was pregnant out of wedlock too, I expected some story with that, but nothing. MC had a livestream that was for teaching piano but it fizzled away??? Did the author want to put some elements of livestreaming but forgot??? Wasn't she under a contract??? The parents of ML being shits!!!! I expected some face-slapping but again there was NOTHING??? Ji Yan and the ML??? Also the oriMC's paternal family had no face slapping eventhough they s**ked?? Ugh, I hate forgotten subplots.

This gold, I love this story. Humorous and heart wrenching.

I love the way that MC understood what the original owner wants even if her only task is for her to win at the competition.

You can see that Original Owner ever since her parents death suffered from depression and anxiety, she was addicted to gambling and lost sight of what's important to her.

The both of them are at fault why their marriage had fallen. ML wasn't home often and Original Owner instead of confiding her suspensions and feelings to ML she turned her attention to gambling.

When she realized that she lost everything and wanted to cease her life she found light again through her son, and when she set her life back again shits happened.

It was so heartbreaking when the Original Owner was crying after seeing her son having a hard time wanting her to get up and she can't even comfort her son because she was paralysed. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧


The original owner wasn't a bad mother, she was suffering from depression and anxiety.

The comedic element is insane in it, made me laugh aloud. The witt was great the interaction between MC and her son was very natural.

The plot 3.5 and characters have a bit of growth but I'm giving a 5 because of the family interactions 🥰 I enjoyed reading the POVs of the MCs and the baby.

There are quite a few imperfections so just gloss over them. The FL is hilarious and the son is godly adorable! The father and daughter pair is just defeated by this two.

Plot's not that intricate. But there are life lessons dished out by the FL so that made me happy. I seriously hope to have more chapters in the... more>> extra. I don't really mind reading a slice of life of this family novel. 😊 <<less

It's a cute story that isn't supposed to make much sense but the interactions of the ML and FL is pretty realistic esp when they argue and the ML tries to fight with logic but her reasoning sounds even more convincing so he backs down lol. The description is true to it's content so don't expect too little or too much.

This was such a fun read. I like the MC's humor. The MC's children are cute; my favorite is the son. ML is good too. I kinda wished there was more when I finished the last chapter. Would recommend this novel.

Comedic interactions of the reunited divorcee family. Still can't help but grin with how witty and absurd the retorts coming from Xiao Yu. Her shamelessness is really something that brought forth their chance to get back to the Ji Family.

After she died, Xiao Yu was scammed by a pretty much useless System that left her after giving her the boon of being able to heal paralyzed body quick. She now have to learn from the scratch how to play piano because being the best is what's the Original Xiao Yu's... more>> final regret and wish in order to make her parents proud.

Detail that made me uncomfortable as of now is the fact that the Original neglected Ji Yu when she was like 2 years old that led to the toddler to fall from the stairs. She saw her when she fell but continued to gamble with her visitors. Thankfully Ji Xuan came home and found the child. Ji Yu's head was FREAKING BLEEDING. Who knows how many hours she was lying lifelessly there?
