If you want to read a novel to pass the time, with a Mary-Sue MC that doesn't have any challenges her way, and solves everything so easily, low IQ antagonists that are easily defeated/face-slapped, a pampering ML who solves a lot of problems for MC, a cute bun to showcase a perfect family... 

This is the novel for you. Initially I was interested in the story but as I read on, it got fairly predictable and boring since everything goes so well and easily for MC. Romance was also very low-key. Basically MC is a snake demon spirit who transmigrates to human form and lives her life happily since she's finally free from jail (the zoo) and can eat what she wants, do what she wants, and is basically **absolute perfection**ML is a cold-faced CEO who is so smart and used to hate his wife but love his kid. Eventually he realizes that MC has changed and thus, he loves her and begins to pamper her from beginning to end. Baby is smart for a 5 year old, constantly holding a tablet and doing things that label him as a genius cutie. There isn't much "raising" like the story title tbh. He's just there to show how perfect their family is. MC doesn't raise him much since he has nannies.  <<less

I absolutely love this novel. The MC transmigrates into a novel whereby she has a child after being drugged. oriMC was killed off by her stepsister and her son had a miserable life before dying. When MC transmigrated, she decides to change things so that they won't end the same way. As it turns out, the child is also reborn but despite being an adult, he acts like a child anyway as his mindset is also reduced to child-like. 

First of all, it focuses more on cute family bonding moments instead of romance. The author also concentrates alot on the reborn villain aka the little bun. The romance between MC and ML is really slow burn.

I really enjoyed this story for what it was. A family oriented one.

Things do end up a bit too easy for MC and antagonists are laughable jokes but otherwise it is still better face slapping than most novels.

One of the things I enjoyed most about the novel was how independent MC is. She does not survive merely with ML's help. She is a survivor all on her own. She leaves to a new isolated area, and then does a livestream which gives her a stable salary to provide for her son. She also manages to plan her life trajectory well for Uncle Guo, her child and other people that she cares about. ML does help a little behind the scenes with his manipulation like buying the villa beside MC and all, but it is very minor compared to the strength MC has as a single mum who knows what to do to take care of her son. <<less

Basically our MC is a lady who had a hard life originally. She was born from a poor family and had to learn to be a green tea woman to survive well but in the end she was killed by an ex-boyfriend who made her life miserable if I'm reading the MTL correctly. There were a lot of mentions of her being left in an alley bleeding and that is how she died which I find very sad.She then transmigrates into the paralyzed body of a woman who had met with a car accident and now must fulfill the wishes of the oriMC in order to live a good life with riches. 

She has a gold finger which is to quickly recover from paralysis and also to learn the piano fast. The oriMC's wish is to be a world-renowned pianist as her father was before her. MC is a divorcee and initially had a daughter with the husband, she left that family when daughter was 2 and found out she was pregnant with her 2nd child. She decided to raise her 2nd child by herself. However, oriMC was very depressed. She had major depression (from what I could infer from the story) and had a hard time but she really did do her best to raise her 2nd child. Her 2nd kid, a boy, is very witty and smart for a 3 year old which doesn't make much sense in reality but I ignored all that as he provides a lot of fun to the novel. 

When she is transmigrated to a new body, in order to prevent her child was suffering further, she calls her ex-husband who then takes care of her. MC actually plans to live with him and change the trajectory of the son and daughter's life as they had a miserable life in this novel world. Once her tasks are done, she actually planned to leave them with the ex and for her to pursue oriMC's wish. Eventually ex-husband falls in love with her again and they get together. 

The romance is slow-build but very realistic as both MC and ML are calm. ML is not an over-bearing CEO but he does have a temper and loves his children so so much. This story is full of family vibes which I enjoyed. <<less

This is a long slice of life story that I really enjoyed. Mostly because I'm from an Asian family who went through more or less the same thing. Knowing how hard my grandparents wouldve worked back then along with having multiple children for the sake of having more boys to help out… Truly a great story to read. Just to note, my paternal grandparents had 12 children (6 boys and 6 girls) while my maternal grandparents had 8 children (2 boys and 2 girls). The drama that occurs within families is A LOT. So yes, to those reviews that said FL interferes too much, it really do be like that.

It is a long story with a hardworking FL who strives to improves the conditions of her family alongside a dependable understanding ML who also works hard together. The three boys of theirs grows up along with the story and they have their own stories later on as well.

Basically the first few chapters is how FL raises her family during the 60s, in times of poverty. How she rises up and moves to the capital along with her family and how they slowly gain more property and become more well-to-do. Other subplots include familial relationships, some rotten characters trying to do bad things but end up suffering from them, some bad people turning over a new leaf, and romance between other side characters.

Now that I've gone through some of the comments I remember the gist of the story. It's a supposedly fluffy romance but it was pretty abrupt in the romance category. Superb child-raising story. 

Seriously lovely story! Has a good mix of romance, cub-raising, fluffy slice of life fun. I wonder why there aren't many reviews! It is such a good cub-raising story with a smart cub of 5-6 years of age that's appropriate instead of those Cnovels with 2-3 years old geniuses that don't quite make sense. 

Basic premise: MC transmigrates to a young woman who had a baby out of wedlock due to being tricked by her ex-boyfriend. oriMC wanted to marry rich and live a good life. oriMC mistreats her son and sometimes beats him up (according to child's previous memory of oriMC. oriMC does not have a good end but what's worst is the child grows up with a distorted personality and blackens. He ends up committing su*cide when he's 25. 

When MC transmigrates, she immediately gets a system that's for cub-raising. Her primary task is to prevent the child, Ye Xun from blackening. Now begins her life to raise her son well! MC is also a cat who wants to ascend to be a cat demon goddess kinda entity. So this is her 100th life and she has suffered for 99 lifetimes as a cat. This is her final life in human form and she wants to live well alongside her son. 

ML is a cold-faced CEO. ML was trapped and sent two people to seduce him but he runs away. He doesn't remember sleeping with anyone till someone informs him 5 years later. ML then searches the surveillance feed and finds out about oriMC. He sends someone to investigate oriMC but finds all the abuse towards his son and oriMC's wish to climb into someone rich's bed. He hates that about oriMC. Not only is she abusing his son, she's also someone who is greedy. 

ML is actually trying to get custody of his son and wants to kick oriMC out of their lives. 

Due to them living together, the story goes along a slice-of-life feel. ML eventually learns about MC's "true" personality and he gets angry with the investigation report that he felt had falsified how good MC truly is. (Lmao it was the truth though, oriMC wasn't the best mum.) ML then falls in love with MC and he chases MC but in a s*upid roundabout way. This ML really doesn't know how to be straightforward. He's s*upid ways of confessing doesn't work on MC because MC is a cat who cannot understand human courtship!!!

This is the story for you if you'd like a smooth-sailing protagonist journey from rags to riches. There is minimal drama, lots of effortless face-slapping, and minor romance subplot. The babies in the story are not featured prominently and there isn't much child-rearing. 

The FL is a calm, rational lady who works hard to earn money for a better life for herself and her two children. She's establishes herself well, and is very smart. She ventures into business and real estate. Along her journey she meets another calm, rational man who eventually pursues her and they get into a relationship. Her two children are mature for their ages and occasionally pop up into the story. 

Most of the drama comes from the FL's greedy family members who exploit the girls in the family to support the boys. There are also face-slapping of other greedy outsiders. It is otherwise fairly boring to me. In fact, I gave it 4 stars for the efforts of the translators. I think Back to the 60s has a similar vibe but I prefer that story. Not entirely sure why, maybe because the babies were featured more there. Still a good read if you're looking for a slice-of-life story of a strong single woman.  <<less
