but here we live especially the adventures of the ML which becomes more and more powerful by what it has several fingers of gold...

Refreshing in a sense that its steady and sweet.

The master and disciple are dual protagonists in the story. The master may not speak much but we could read his internal reasoning on this and that while the disciple is more vocal and he leads the conversation for others for the master. Really a perfect duo.

I like the way the novel is written by the author. They really placed the disciple from weak to strong even with a cheat of a system and an OP master some challenges. (Even though his... more>> greatest challenge is getting his master to see him more than a disciple lol).

the ending was a nice close. So far the major things from the beginning and the end was placed and tied into a ribbon. We even got to see what life was after the master dies in the first life at an extra chapter. Karma is served and basically a happily ever after story

I have to say that this is one of the best bl and xianxia novels I have ever read.

First, it doesn't have the usual disposable cannon fodder villains.

Second, the fight scenes are interesting without being excessive. I honestly don't like novels where a fight scene takes ten or so chapters, it is too annoying.

... more>> Third, the plot is quite good and cultivation is reasonable. The cultivation realms are clearly stated and characters don't randomly have the ability to leapfrog several realms to defeat powerful enemies. Everything is reasonable.

Most importantly, the romance is subtle but very good. The CPs feelings don't mushroom out of nowhere. The reader can clearly see the process of falling in love and it all feels very natural. The MC and ML have absolute trust in each other and although the ML gives in to the MC all the time, you can see that it isn't out of helplessness but an absolute desire to utterly and completely spoil the MC. On his part, the MC also treasures the ML and although he is a tsundere, he is never excessive and always gives in to the ML unconditionally. Their level of trust and co-dependence really makes someone envious.

That said, I am going to start binge-reading the author's other books while hoping that they will release even more before I finish reading the available ones. I have fallen into an addiction. <<less

MC is very op, I kid you not. usually the higher the cultivation, the bigger the difference between each stage is. he easily beat people with higher cultivation even though he was already in soul formation and soul transformation stage respectively. if he was a good tactician like ml, sure, but he really won by brute force (later +the weapons ML refined). me:..... okay! he is very single-minded. ML helped him when he was besieged so in this lifetime when he met kid!ML who was just a poor, starved outer disciple, he was determined to cultivate ML carefully.

The characters are realistic. The novel is very focused on the main characters. Their relationship also progressed slowly and there are not a lot of sweet moments.
