This is my Matriarch favorite sweet novel, I have read it three times. There are lot of fluffy, sweet, cute interact, like MC pamper on ML. Like the MC loyal to ML and dote on him.

As MC is coldblood, indifference, ruthless and stronger. She is like indifference to world, only adorable ML warm her heart. She is only good to male lead. She pamper male lead to much like give anything to him as long as he like it. ML is so cute, get jealousy. Their child is so cute... more>> and smart. ML's past is so sad that he and his father was abondoned by his mother, he was bully by his half brothers and servants.

I really like how Interesting characters are especially friendship between MC and reign Empress. MC is protector of Empress. It's funny how Empress shamelessly hug MC's thigh as MC is stronger and only can protected her from Assassins. She even shamelessly ask for money or rare treasures cause she know how richer MC is. She know Mc's cruel character most, she warn her youngest brother and sister not provoked MC and ML as She unable to save them from MC if they anger her. <<less

It's an entertaining read, although it could definitely improve more in establishing the lore that women are superior. What I felt while reading this is just the typical historical novel, with switched pronouns. I sometimes forget that a character is supposed to be a man or a woman. It's a good past time, nevertheless.

This story is really good for one-time reading.

We have our unique women society. Our FL, Feng Lingxi is seductive, charming, but wants to live a peaceful life. Although she's from Royal family, she doesn't have the ambition to sit on the throne. Our ML, Yun Siyu is a man who despite being a man, is strong, though weaker than FL, and skilled in poison.

FL and ML's love story and fluff are cute. But, sometimes, I really want to slap ML on his head for always jumping around and causing trouble... more>> for no reason. But, FL doesn't mind and protect ML, even if he slaps a Prince or insults Empress's sister and famous general. Sometimes, I found him annoying. But, FL likes it, so what can I do being annoyed?

I dropped this novel around chapter 119. It was fluffy and good with ML and FL. But, seeing ML and FL kissing each other, their child, Chuxue, started to kiss on the lips of one subordinate of FL, named Yan Xi.

Rant: I wouldn't have any problem if Chuxue was a little older when the repeated kiss happened. Chuexue was 1-month-old and Yan Xi is 14 years old.

According to the author, Chuxue is so smart that he really understands the meaning of kiss and Yan Xi also started to kiss him. A little bit wet kiss. After hearing it, FL and ML only let Chuxue and Yan Xi stay together and FL even promised Yan Xi that Chu Xue would be hers in the future. But, I feel a little uncomfortable reading it. FL is from the modern world, can't she understand its kind of pe*verted pe*ophilia behavior?

How can she be so calm and laugh when her son is being kissed by a woman again and again when he's only a month older? Even laughing and supporting it?

I dropped it because of this. You can go and try it. I got triggered after reading it; you may or may not be able to ignore it. It's up to you.

First star deducted because of the repeated kissing. Second star deducted because of ML's clown jumping behavior. <<less
