Wonderful story, definitely a feel good, funny, fluffy, almost no angst type of novel. The plot and characters were all made with great care, I can really feel the author’s love for the novel with how much work was put into it.

There’s a lot of palace drama that I thought would bore me from the cliche premise but each situation was well fleshed out, with each antagonist having a background set up that gives insight into their motivations and inner thoughts.

My favorite part of the novel is that the ML... more>> never looks down on the MC. The MC had trouble reading and could barely write ancient Chinese, yet the ML never looks down on him for this. MC has textbook modern knowledge that’s pretty useless in ancient times but he does get plenty of times to show this knowledge and make improvements for everyone’s life. ML never gets angry at MC, always supports him to the utmost, and always shows his love. I’ve read plenty of good novels but the best are the ones where the ML isn’t cold and condescending to the person he loves most in the world. That’s why I really really love this novel, it’s got so much love that it honestly made me tear up more times than I can count. Fluff usually makes me feel warm and fuzzy but this novel made me feel as if typical fluff is nothing in comparison, this novel make me feel Real emotion, deep in my heart type of emotion.

I also love that the novel didn’t make the kids some type of throwaway side plot like most BL novels to, instead the kids are family, they interact and have their own personalities and appearances. The mpreg situation was also handled pretty well, the first time was pretty funny and unrealistic but the second time showed more of the realistic side, the changes in body and mind and the fears of childbirth. Really, so many small details like this are all throughout the novel that make me so happy to read about.

I’m putting this on my list of novels that I would love to have on my bookshelf and read again one day. Definitely up high on my favorite novel list. <<less

One of the best danmei transmigration novels I have ever read! The fluff, the fish dog food, the court intrigue, the drama, the action!!!! Especially the fluff. There were some unexpected plot twists that surprised me, but the most delightful part was reading Li Yu's interactions with his hubby Mu Tianchi <3 Thank you so much to the translator and author! Beautiful work <3 ahhh :D off to admire fanart now

This Novel... Is truly a Delight~!

This is my first time saying thing like this, but: I don't trust people who rate this under 4 stars. Even 5 stars doesn't feel enough. This Novel is Truly Delightful!

The Main Characters and Supporting Good Characters is All So Great! The Interactions between the Characters is Great! The way things happen between the MC and ML is Purely Wonderful! The Plot move steady and smoothly. No slow or rush. Its flows is Perfect till the end!

This Novel is Perfect to me! It has Everything... more>> I Love in this kind of Novel! I don't think I dislike anything in here. All the Faceslapping, though it more like knocking people out of their (ML & MC's) way painfully and satisfactorily ! There's literal faceslapping moment too from the Fish~.

I LOVE Everything in here. I LOVE both MC and ML sooooooo Much!!! They're Truly Wonderful! They have Fun and Unique personality! MC's personality makes so much sense in this novel because everything he had gone through. ML and MC have Wonderful Personality! They're perfect in their own way!

The Cute Children... Is Cuteness and Happiness~

And when I thought everything is over in the novel, the last few chapters gave us Perfect Happily Ever After Ending for things between MC and ML! I thought it was already Perfect before, but apparently the Ending even has Perfect Surprise! The Author is Truly Wonderful!!!

Honestly I Love this Novel with Every Part every Inches of My Life, My Body, My Soul, My Heart with My Eternal Love for the Eternity and Beyond!!! I'm having a hard time parting from this Novel... 😶 <<less

It is one of my favorite novels. Absolutely amazing plot, lively shou and reticent gong. Family drama was exciting and battle of strength and wits for throne was also exciting. There were some excellent plot twists. Author really put her/his heart and feelings into the novel. Thank you for providing such a fluff novel I love it. I also appreciate the efforts of translator who translated this novel.💜💜💜

Really lovely translation a beautiful and fluffy story.

A lot of the times fluffy stories get to be no substance but the story was actually really rich with an interesting plot.

It’s so fvckin fluffy, oh my god 🥴. Other than the tiniest hit of angst, this a cute slice-of-life transmigration novel. Highly recommend. 10/5, would read again. My only bitterness is that the epilogue was too short

Cute fluffy easy read. Would have like extras about the kids and their life afterwards. Or family outting as fishes. The beggining was kinda confusing to me a bit about how fish and mute can communicate but the story gets pretty adorable. The ML dotes on said fish wife to max.

Oh no, you don't know how much I like this novel. It's so good and well thought, It's been a long time since I read a novel which doesn't seemed to be rushed, It's really good.

This novel feels like a normal transmigration story, but for me it's very special. If you wanna know, just start reading this already and see for yourself! Everything is into place, no questions we're left, all ends very well! Oh did I also mention there's a lot of comedy here and it's very funny as... more>> well!

All characters we're thoroughly depicted, no airs, no ghosting, everyone has their own part of the story. MC and ML are very precious and very good for each other, I feel envious. Anyways I don't really want to spoil and elaborate much, but I guarantee this is really good stuff (well if you like fluff).

I really really want to commend the author for a well done story, I rarely read CN novels which doesn't have a lot of plotholes. Thank you also for the very good translation, translator!

This story isn't perfect but who cares? This deserves my 5⭐! <<less

This is a precious jewel among other transmigration danmei I read. I am a fan of transmigration danmei, especially animal transmigration, and this awesome novel is now among my favourites. There is so much good things to say about this one. It's funny, it has endearing characters, coherent plot, great emotional and romantic development, both protags' POV well narrated, even the villains' POV, great pacing and I love author's upbeat writing style.

Little fish's antics are a delight to read. Have fun reading about him actively creating chaos for the villains,... more>> which seemed impossible at the start, in view of him being a weak little fish, but he is a smart little fish.

Definitely recommended for readers who loves fluff and lighthearted novels ❤ <<less

I absolutely love it! It's a sweet, fluffy and cute novel. I love the MC's personality, a sweet, naive shou, while the ML's is such a loving and doting gong, their relationship is so honey sweet, it makes one's teeth rot (in a good way of course). The humour gets me everytime, especially with the MC's conversations with the system. Of course, let's not forget the oh-so-adorable babies, it's sad that we will not get to see how these little guys (and girl) grow up.

The novel ended on a happy... more>> note, something very much needed for those who want a change from the 'serious' novels with thrilling and complicated plots, and experience a joyful and fun time reading.

For me, personally, it's kind of bittersweet. It ended in a way that states that their story can continue to go on yet we will not have the chance to read it, and it is rather like a legend that will live on. As much as I love how perfectly it ended, a little part of me just can't help wishing for more.

This was the most fun relaxing read I've had in a while.

I love the fun, bold personality of the MC, though towards the end he was kinda mary-sue ish but it was for the good of others so meh. I also very much enjoyed the overall character setting of the ML, though he may be the typical type of a cold on the outside but passionate on the inside type of guy, he is very much possessive and infatuated with the MC even though his beloved may be a demon... more>> - aww.

As for the plot line, everything makes sense and is interesting so nothing to be picky at that. Very much loved about every aspect of the story development, from initial crush all the way to being married and then having kids etc. Very sweet and cute. Though the whole system thing wasn't explained in detail, it's not exactly that annoying - though it is funny when it digs pits for the MC haha.

All in all, it was a very enjoyable read and no doubt that it will leave a very satisfying feeling that you get when finishing a good novel - absolutely recommended especially if you're into the trope of MC being a spoiled pampered pet of an domineering but caring ML =>o^ / ~~~~ <<less

Relaxing Daily life of a Carp/Koi pet.

This novel is a flat 4.0 for me. I enjoyed the daily life of a pampered fish + babies + marriage life type of novel (though the over bearing CEO type of ML is overused in my opinion but its in a historical times so its ok), this is a easy read kind of novel, no fuss and I think it delivered what it came to do, so it was a great light read.

The MC is all kinds of cute and cheeky but lives... more>> to its title as the Tyrant's pet. You get to giggle or chortle in parts but what made me adore this novel is the babies. I really love when couples have children it adds a little sweetness to the relationship. Though they don't show as much as I would've liked but I understand they aren't the main focus of the story.

This is just a good feel easy read, no drama even in the politics part of the story is a breeze and I also liked the callbacks so kudos to the translator and author. <<less

One of few TOP TIER NOVEL I ever read. Im not good with words, but ome thing I can tell you :

you wont regret reading this!!

This is the second novel I read after Husband terminal illness, the only novel I always wait for update and one with healthy relationship. Too bad its already ended (｡º̩̩́⌓º̩̩̀).゜. Really, I need moar of this.

Amazing cute story. The MC monologue is hilarious. The ML is so sweet and as per title pampering MC to sky! The story is very entertaining. Of course there some not so logic things here and there, so what ! Its a fantasy novel. Just enjoy the sweet dog food and cute baos, its heavenly. Great translation and thank you very much!

A story that dishes out a boatload of fluff & nonsense. MC transmigrates into the novel he’s reading as a fish & has to complete missions in order to become human again. Unfortunately, these so-called “missions” consist of him seducing the book’s mute main protagonist who is set to be a tyrannical emperor in the future. It almost reminds me of If You Don’t Fall in Love, You’ll Die in the way that the missions correlate with the main CP’s relationship. A very fluffy and cute story😊😊

Sometimes it is very funny. And we have some very interesting "action" moment.

Around the middle of the story, I had never thought there would have so much plot 😯😯

I don't say to much but it was very good and logic. So don't hesitate to read it

It actually 4/5 story, but since the MC is cute and shameless, ML is loving and caring, and consider I read it in one go, i’ll give it 5, as well as for the easy to read translation.

MC is not s*upid, it just ML is too smart. It cracked me when reading how MC thought he was too smart while in fact his pampering hubby just play blind to let him feel smart.

This is cliche troupe when MC transmigrating into a fish and need to do tasks to gain his... more>> original human appearance. The palace drama is not heavy, the plot is mediocre but fluff.

What I loved the most from this, ML is mute, he can’t say much. There are some scene where he need to convey what he though with simple action and words in writing. It was so freaking romantic, makes me feel single even tho I have a lovely GF. The bold confession carved in the wall, and the simple four lines when he respond to the dating rules. It makes me smile and warmed my heart.
