Have you ever heard this?

Love is not about who's earlier than whom, but the right time.

Yeah, well, basically this novel is about that. When the FL had an airplane crash, she survived but got transmigrated to her 21 yo self, where she hadn't met her husband yet. I have to warn you though, this story is very depressing -at least for me- in the last chapters. It is very depressing...

The comedy is not awkward and quite refreshing. The bitterness will gnaw on your heart though. Her husband's younger self was... more>> skeptical about love. He didn't want to get married at all and didn't really like commitment. The contradictions and interactions between every character is interesting in my opinion.

In fact, he dumped her twice. Yep. TWICE FOR GOD's SAKE

In the second time, it was because FL said she would like to get married, and she would wait for him. They became apart fo a while. Then, when ML set up his real estate company, FL asked him if he really wanted that and she told him that he didn't like real estate, which ML replied that he could like both and FL doesn't rerally know him. Then, ML broke up with her through text. I know, what a jerk. But no matter how I hate to admit this, I have to say that I understand him. Anyway, since this part, the roller-coaster is starting.

But then, he realized that his love towards her is different. He truly loved her. He also thought that it would be nice to get married. But well, bad luck is on their side apparently. After FL accepted ML's proposal, they had an accident. ML died in the accident, because of protecting FL. Meanwhile FL? She was in coma. After she woke, she decided to wait for ML forever. Like literally forever.

(Small little talk here, it turned out the author had no clue what the ending would be like at that point. She even wrote that she would refund her disappointed readers! Such a dedicated author.. But well, she did succed in hurting my heart)

At least after she decided to board a plane to Japan, she came back to her world. Also it turned out that she-- and the second!ML (Pei Yi) were in the same flight and -yeay!- they both survived. Both remembered their time in another world but none of them knew that both of them had their memories.

What to say? The journey was good, but the ending made the journey a waste of time. The last few chapters turned this from a 5 to a 2.5. I love time travel stories, so I was really looking forward to this. I read the first few chapters from the translation and the rest I read the MTL. Shi Jian has an accident and wakes up ten years in the past when she had not met her future husband. She then decides to pursue her husband and start their relationship... more>> early.

They get together, break up twice. The ML then realizes that he loves her, and just when she is about to give up on him, he learns about her being his wife from the future. There should be a happy ending, right? Well, the author seems to have given up on this story because they killed the ML and made the FL wait for him until she died. Then to make it up to the readers, the author added 5-6 chapters where it is revealed the FL and second ML were in an alternate universe of some sort. Truly, the whole thing became a mess.

Ohmi, I haven't read the novel yet but I actually watched the drama version first 🥲. I was so invested with the drama that I've downloaded it and tried to find better copies. The drama was around 2018 or 2019 I guess?

So far, in the drama (as what I've remembered) , they actually give a good ending 😅.

The 2nd male lead and FL got on the same plane, the plane crashed and when she woke up, it was a dream. The ML and FL are both safe from the car... more>> crash. Both of them are safe and got together in the end. The drama got the same title as the novel.

But really, there's full of ups and down. How I wish I've read the novel first than watched the drama. I kinda skip some episodes since its kinda frustrating 😂.

I'll just put this novel on my hiatus list since I've just finished a novel with ups and down awhile ago. <<less

A different type of book - quite thought provoking in parts. A what if scenario that tries to look at relationships when people are at a different age/stage of life. Some parts are a little hard to understand and timeline was a bit confusing at the end, but the translator did a good job in translation.

The character that I feel the most for was actually the quiet 2nd lead Yi Pei. His story was rather unsatisfactory. As the FL had gone back in time but retained a mature mindset, whilst... more>> the ML was still immature, then Yi Pei was the best person for her. <<less

Actually the author seems to writing about happiness going into depression very fast. I almost could not endure the midpart of the novel because it was so sad but it became happy again and I had ao much hope!!!

I want to stress the comment before: do not be fooled by the sweetness :=) If you can endure sugary sweetness and tragedy at the same time this might be your thing. If not: better not touch it because it might depress you as well. <<less

I'm somewhat confused about this story. Did she end up back with her husband in the end or was it just a dream? I mean, does her future exist or not? Even though the author left a note, it honestly just confused me more because it feels so anticlimactic and forced. I mean, even in the extras, the husband is there, but then there's this other guy who the author says is destiny, or I don't even know who she's referring to as destiny and the right one anymore. Anyway...... more>> all I can say is that the introduction of the second protagonist felt forced. There aren't even any hints that they could 'love' each other. If there are more details, please let me know because it's just disappointing. I mean, it's good to meet someone else, but in a story where there aren't even any hints that it's going to happen, it just feels FORCED and like everything was in vain and unnecessary. Anyway... who did she actually end up with? <<less

I was hesitant for a long time to read this story because the synopsis felt like a solemn and focused investment of time request.. and bingo, it's more sad than the synopsis.. but I'm also glad I read this masterpiece..

I don't know how much I cried throughout this story... How much can one love the other to defy time and all rationality, to wait for the lover forever...

FL is very kind, beautiful and with a strong personality.. ML (younger version) is a scum who realized his heart a little too... more>> late resulting in a tragedy.. ML (older version) is a perfect match for the FL's love..

But I must say 2nd ML is my more favorite.. he has a compatible personality with the FL.. but unfortunately her heart will always be with the ML.. he should have his happy ending as well..

This is a heavy emotionally invested story.. a lot of the lines I've read repeatedly.. because the story is a heartfelt poetic journey... But it's just too sad...

I loved the other story by this Author published in NU already, but didn't know this one was even better..
