Xu Zheyi is a 30 year old actor. Abandoned by his friend after co-signing a loan, he was burdened with a massive debt. Without any foreseeable way out, he was reduced to acting in a gay AV in order to make enough money and pay off the debt.

Absolutely sweet. I didn't expected it to have some serious dose of sweetness. Also, it was well on point, around s*xual confusion and the love scenes are very much realistic.

It's a nice and easy read. Definitely fluffy and smutty. It had one or two funny moments in the beginning and an overall good story to just unwind and enjoy for immediate pleasure since it's a short story. It thankfully doesn't get overly dramatic or well dramatic at all really but that's to be expected since it's a short story and to be too dramatic would make it feel too overwhelming. I'd have probably stopped reading it if it did that so it was perfect as it is. I agree... more>> that it could have expanded a bit more the the main characters feelings and could have done with a bit more introspection but it was showcased a little. I probably wouldn't read it again but I did enjoy it and would recommend giving it a try.

Ps: Major props to the translator. They did an immaculate job translating the story. The translation wasn't awkward at all and anyone on this website knows how hard it is to get it done perfectly since it's incredibly difficult to translate other languages to English. They all do their absolute best but it really is incredibly difficult to translate certain phrases without possibly losing some of the deeper meaning or making it sound just awkward. 10/10 on the translation. Definitely will look up more book with this translator. <<less

I passed this many, many times and hesitated whether to read this since it's about GV, and I initially thought the main characters would change partners. If this had been longer, then there's a chance of changing partners. But fortunately this is short. Hahahaha.

Also, I thought there'd be angst. But I was actually given fluff 😍😍😍 good translation and good plot. I regretted I didn't read this earlier.

The only thing I don't like much is that the main characters turn from straight to gay very quickly. But that's it really.

I love how to two MC interact with each other. They are very cute. I love them sooo sooo much.

If you are going through the reviews and come across my review I highly recommend you this novel. It's very easy to read. And.... There are soo hot smut scenes... I really enjoyed them.

This was short and sweet! Thank you so much to the translator for giving us this opportunity to indulge in this beaut.

Although it was short, it didn't feel rushed as the feelings were explored sufficiently and the smut level was not too much yet not too little. To be honest, I came here for the smut, but I was left somewhat submerged in a wave of fluff that I didn't expect.

Plot- the novel starts with the leading character Zheyi who was a very popular actor/idol, who fell from grace because... more>> he had to take low rated acting jobs to pay off a debt after being sabotaged by his friend/business partner. He fell to an all time low in the industry and was also forced to take a job in a gay adult movie series as the payout was big enough to pay his debt in full. He met Ruka who is the second male lead, younger than him, sour personality and like all misunderstanding trope, they did not start off on the right foot. Multiple feelings were explored on set as it was clearly not only a job for them. Both characters had some inner conflicts contemplated silently which led to fondness and attraction between the two. Although the conflict was more concentrated on Zheyi as he is the older lead with more experiences and in-built biases towards certain things in life, the story was laid out in a simple way so that everyone can relate to what Zheyi was feeling and the ending was very refreshing as both characters understood clearly what they needed.

If you are not looking for anything too heavy but can still appreciate a tiny bit of romance and melancholy, there is no harm trying this. <<less

This is a great short story of two people who met under convoluted circumstances and fell in love. Ironically, their love story almost exactly follows the film that they were contracted to play, heh.

There is gratuitous and fairly graphic smut, so make sure you aren't in public while reading this.

The truth be told, after reading the description I hesitated about reading the story. I was afraid it would be too shallow. Fortunately it was not. It's a well written story which is very easy to follow and a good point is that it is short. However, I've never thought there is a day when I will say I've been surfeited with s*x scenes (though I love them greatly). I just felt the ratio was not quite right for me. That's why I gave 4 stars.

Highly recommendable for being so so sweet and satisfying!! Ruka is so precious!! I decided to give this a go when I read about the sweetness and it was so sweet with just the right amount of delicious angst/uncertainty. Even though BL smut doesn't do it for me, sadly, I really enjoyed this novel for the plot, the romance.

Startlingly spicy! Even for the plot, and as a veteran reader, I was still surprised at some of the scenes--in a good way! I really wish the subplot didn't get dropped, but I enjoyed it a lot otherwise. That's the only reason it's not 5 stars!

AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! IT WAS SO GOOD! ? Okay, maybe I'm overreacting, but after reading so many cliche webnovels, this was a breath of friggin fresh air.

This is more like a short story so there isn't much backstory. But there is enough going on that the plot isn't lacking.

MC is conflicted about being gay, so that takes up the majority of the plot.

The ML's only hang up was being in a committed relationship, but he got over that quickly. I like how simple minded he seemed. He only cared about what he wanted: the MC. It even gave the director a headache ?

At first the two disliked each other, but later it was so squishy and cuddly ?
