It's a nice story. There is almost no plot - just fluffy moments.

It gave me cavities. It got a little tedious to read after the first 20 chapters.

This is my favorite now, one of best transmigration novel with likeable MC and dreamy ML. Love the sweet and Fluffy moment between MC and ML. Like how much ML love MC and pursue her.

I like how mature and intelligent characters, Love the way MC get alone with Heroine aka her sister. Usually in other novel, author write sister heroine as Vicious green tea b*tch. In this novel, MC has closed relationship with her sister aka heroine. They get along even though they know that they are not blood sister.

Also... more>> Like Mc's adopted parent and brother, they dote on her and still love her even thought they know she is not their real daughter. Their interact with MC is so heartwarming.

ML is perfect fiance like title say, he is so dreamy, decent and loyal who pamper her so much. Highly recommended this gem novel. <<less

The synopsis led me to believe there would be a lot of entertaining moments between the main couple but it's only very few. Their love story is kinda bland and I found myself more interested in finding out about the MC's big brother and younger sister lol. It's not bad per se, the translation itself is great. It's just that I found myself skim reading the last 20+ chapters cause you really won't be missing out on much of the story doing that. It's very Gary Stu and I do... more>> mean Gary Stu coz of the ML. The MC is not a Mary Sue in the novel, she just lives her life the way she's always wanted in her past life. While ML solves everything for her lol. Sana all. Aside from the MC and ML relationship, I don't have any other complaints. Their families are very harmonious and there's not much face-slapping happening aside from two/three incidents that happened early on in the story.

Overall I give it a 3 star + 1 star for the translation quality. Not too bad, not good either. It's a so-so read imo. 🤔 <<less

The reality is that I regret having read this novel. I had left it halfway but after almost four years I read it again. At first the synopsis makes you understand that there is comedy, because of the way in which Lu Xi chases Su jin, but no gentlemen, although by the middle it already starts to bore you and you want to read the end once and for all, when you arrive At the end you cry,

the truth behind Luxi's love for Su Jin is beautiful and bitter, when he has the opportunity to choose to return to the real world with her and try again, he refuses, for fear that Su Jin will not fully open up to him. He, rather than that, he prefers to sacrifice his offspring because it can be said that once Su Jin died, the world would disappear, Lu xi thought that if they had children he would regret it and hurt her, he prefers to give up hope and decides not to have them never, a very sad decision, because Su Jin did want children, a very bitter ending

Ai, I completely missed the “Modern Day” tag and thought this would be historical based on the summary *sneezing-face*. I didn’t want my expectations to block me, so I dropped it after reading only a bit of ch. 1. I’ll come back to read it another day.c

Personally speaking, I like the novel a lot... it showed a different side of things

I liked how there were no differences between both sisters, how the parents and brother love both of them equally...

I like the dynamic between both the leads they were different as you go on to read the story you understand them and like them...

I would recommend it to people if you are looking for something sweet and simple, with no complex thing... go for this novel...

Yay, this is an amazing work of art~ if you're a mature reader, hating dog blood, looking for a good plot & translation, do give this novel a try, despite how others rated it.

The author inserted poems--which honestly idk if it's ostentatious or not, but at least it created a very good feel throughout the book.

The translators, O-M-G!!! They did a superb, very good, job! It's basically pro level!

The story itself is so good, for me (a mature reader), it is so relatable. I don't need to turn off my... more>> brain too much--the description of their beauty are skimmable (idk if the translators/author did it on purpose, but the repeated definitions were usually put in a paragraph, which I can easily skip!)

i love how they remain child free--eventhough it was his decision, but she accepted it. It's a breath of fresh air from other novels that usually place so much emphasis on how CUTE AND FULFILLED LIFE IS AFTER CHILDREN. But honestly, babies are hard work lol. They pooped more than make cute noises--i would know, I'm a mom Life will be fulfilled when we understand ourselves--what we want, what we need. And accepting ourselves is the best kind of love. I really like how this novel conveyed that idea smoothly & quite realistically, through different characters. The side characters were developed well too. Um, except for that one villain. Well anyway, I really love the development of our FL's gege & his love interest.

I think it I were to re-read this, I would still find new interest, due to some things that were revealed about the ML near the ending! ❤️ <<less

The translator did a great job on this one - I like the notes and explanations for various phrases.

Overall, I enjoyed this novel as a slow romance. It’s not super exciting, and does not have a lot of drama, but that’s its major appeal to me. That, and the relatively short length. There also aren’t a million characters to remember (all with similar names, of course) which I’ve come across a lot recently. It has a twist that I don’t particularly like, but does serve as an explanation for getting... more>> reincarnated into a novel in the first place. Most stories don’t even bother to try and explain or have rudimentary logic about this, so I give it a pass. I also liked that it inserted some realism about the romance of two supporting characters.

Instead of her brother ending up with his childhood love, once she helped them resolve the issue keeping them apart (honestly didn’t agree with this part because having a male heir show up basically “freed” her, but why entrust the company to the son when he hasn’t been groomed for the business? Just because he’s male??) they realized that they had idealized each other and outgrown the romance between them. This led to them being able to part without regrets so they could find happiness in the future without always pining for and comparing other partners to the one that got away. I think this is is very realistic and not often shown.

Beautiful story about MC who had her heart heavily guarded and ML with his patience, obsession & wholeheartedness strive to tear down those walls, little by little.

The ending is bittersweet and rather open-ended which left me rather unsatisfied, but I guess it suited this story perfectly than the other ones.

The wish system part was a bit weird, felt odd and out of place but aside from that, this story is just a silly sweet story and I enjoyed it as a light reading. 3/5 for the plot, 1 extra star for the translation. I likely won't come back to reread this but it's a good first read experience

At first, Im hesitating because of the reviews but this is so good.

A light novel where there's no dog blood, third parties, family conflict. It's all about how to accept a light in your dark world. Both of them are light to each other.

Thus, I really agreed to the ML decision with xiaoqui. Even if you turn back time there's no guarantee that they will love each other.

Crying at the ending, how much the ML love the MC to carry the guilt of having no child than making her despair.... more>> Worth to read!! <<less

I finished the story. I loved it! I thought it was a sweet romance story where, for a change, there's actually nothing standing in the way of the leads being together. The male lead is somewhat mysterious throughout, but that's typical of male yandere leads, I think. He was so sweet though that until a moment here or there came up that reminded you of his ruthless side, you forget a little.

I will say that the chapters near the ending totally surprised me. Like what? system? Thousands of years? But that explained a lot! In the beginning he mentioned something about having liked her for years, so there were hints about it from the beginning. Just that the way it was told was so out of nowhere it threw me for a loop originally. The only thing I don't get is why he didn't want kids? He said something about not wanting the MC to hope and be disappointed... the only thing I can figure after thinking about it for a few days is that he meant that since the world they're in is a fake one, it eventually ends, and he didn't want her to hope that their children live on? I don't know...

Honestly I've never written a review nor have I ever felt the need to but this is the first time in a long time that one of these novels has actually gotten me hooked to the point were I not only could not stop reading but actually got attached to the characters and ... more>>

cried my eyes out after I finished reading it. The ending was simply so serene and somehow heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

And yes a few things certainly weren't fantastic about this novel a bit of an annoyance was the constant description of the apperances of the characters however I mean hey it's a light novel its doesn't have to be perfect. That being said, I don't know what it was about this novel but I truly must say please just give it a try. It's certainly not the best I've ever read but something about it really struck and I gotta say I do really like it. Perhaps it was the lack of conflict between the MC and her sister or the odd and unexpected twists and turns or perhaps simply the fact that the translator did a very good job (thank you so much btw!). Whatever it was, I really enjoyed this as a quick but very satisfying read and I can only recommend. <<less

The translator really did a great job! The translation was smooth and there's many notes which explain in great details.

But, the story itself seems lacking. The impact and punch was not there. Author tried to give a plot twist to the story, but it was not surprising at all, or should I said it was well expected all along

I actually avoided this novel first. But today decided to give it a try. The story should have been quite simple but it's not. And that's where the flaw is. It is not simple but still short. The story had potential to be better and the characters too. I liked the ML very much and the MC is ok too. But the MC had to go through a lot of (I am going to be in my she'll so I don't get hurt phase) for a tad too long.... more>> And then there was the scifi element in the middle. Like what the hell. I don't even see why there was a need for that and if you did bring it please use the idea and make the story a bit longer. Anyway the story had flaws but it was okay with one read. The ending was bittersweet. Could have had a better ending. But whatever. <<less

Lovely! Fluffy, sweet, with a surprising twist that adds more depth and meaning to the story. Subverted several common tropes elegantly. Excellent translation with helpful notes and photos. Moving - this phrase struck a chord: “惑于容色，陷于品性，忠于灵魂.//Bedazzled by the looks, beguiled by the personality and faithful to the soul.” Heartily recommended for fans of romance, people looking for a different transmigration story.

Both leads are given another chance to meet again despite not have an happy ending together on their past life. As a couple, they didn't have a child and the novel world they were living collapsed after the FL died due to old age.

The leads truly love each other. I thought that ML's love for FL is shallow but the twist explained why the ML loved and pursued the FL despite only seeing her in the airport for the first time.

First of all I would like to congratulate the translators for a job well done!! The translations was really good with notes and pics explaning more about the context of the translation. I really learned a lot so thanks to the translators!!

So to the actual novel- I though this was pretty good feel good novel. It was short with 59 chaps so definitely can be finished in 1 sitting. I enjoyed it but it wasn't that stand out from the other Chinese novels.

I wasn't sold with the ML at first since he was too perfect at the start. He felt like a mary sue but then the explanation at the end where it was revealed that apparently ML is a world hopper with a system and all that jazz.

So the reason he can hack, cook, direct films, design outfits, etc. Is because he already loved thousands of lifetimes.

I was really touched by the end since the ML had a choice to go back to the real world but chose to stay since he wants to be with MC.

The start and end of this novel was pretty good but the middle part was forgettable but nevertheless still an enjoyable read. And not gonna lie, the ending made me a bit teary eyed. <<less
