I LOVE IT!!!!!

The story is absolutely amazing. I was a huge fan of PMG 1. Regarding the style, it is MUCH, MUCH better! Jing Wu Hen, the first author, was bored in the end, that's why everybody was always surprised and attacks were always terrifying. The new author is enthusiastic and motivated which you can feel in the style. And PMG 1 was slow. PMG 2 is super fast, something is always happening, it is much better!

As usual, totallytranslations' translator is amazing, he's doing a great job. Always putting translator's... more>> notes and he even translates some of the author's notes which makes things even more fun.

Also I find it very interesting how Lin Feng has changed a little again. Now he's not the strongest cultivator in the world anymore so he adapts. He can be worried again at times. And also I love how the new author shows that Lin Feng has actually never been calm or indifferent, he tries all the time but he can be worried, nervous, sad, etc. <<less

Random thoughts :

    • The novel picks up pretty much were part 1 left off, and it acknowledges that as of the end of part 1 Lin Feng was still as clueless as us as to what "sky palace, what's the date tonight" means, so at least it is aware that part 1 left a few loose ends, despite it doing a big effort to tie them all off.
    • Nothing in particular about the story telling so far has changed, for better or worse, from how it was done in part 1, so if you enjoyed that you will probably enjoy this. Lin Feng and crew soon learn that what they thought was the top is not really the top and that there are larger places and higher cultivation levels. You still got your arrogant young masters in this new world and Lin Feng is still as unyielding as ever. I want to say that the plot is a little less predictable this time around, but it could just be cause i've only read a few chapters.
It is still early days, I will be back in the future to update this review and rating. I did not intend to rate it so early but did so by accident and can't find an option to undo it, but 3 stars is more or less the feeling I get from it anyways.
