My short impression. Since I have read 248 chapters from raw [十方武圣]

This novel is different from his previous stories, it is more influenced by historical wuxia with new ideas from recent virus co*ona,

But the quality of the writing has not improved much, but his narration is above average (3/5), expectedly and interestingly,

The mc's a gray character as in some of his previous stories like The wizard world and Way of the Devil, that he wove. The side characters are good, they are not lacking, as we see... more>> in some clichés.

Power levels are very good, as we see the genre of stories Wuxia
It steadily walks against Xianxia, an imaginary development in the course of powers, and this is always reflected in the poor quality we see in other Chinese stories.

The world is well built, It does not flow like the wind superficially, It is considered average as a journey of reincarnation
With an intelligent and cautious hero, he discovers the mystery of this strange world

The negatives are a bit few, but since there's no cliché yet, the pace is a little faster, elongation not found

I only read 11 chapters and I dropped it. Summary, it's very boring and frustrating. Nothing's happening. The plot is frustrating with his parents suddenly went missing and his sisters getting into trouble because they are pretty and weak. The pacing is also very slow with nothing's important happening. MC's cheat is weak. It only allows the the MC to breakthrough a bottleneck but it needs a large amout of energy. More than half a year have passed and the cheat still charging. MC is also weak. The power growth... more>> is very slow. Months have passed but MC is still only doing normal exercises that slightly increase his muscle strength.

Well, my biggest complaint is the weak MC and slow growth. Very different compared to the OP and fast-growing MC of Way of Devil. <<less

Disappointing.

Author attempts to rewrite WotD (which was arguably his best work) but makes everything worse. It's more realistic but far more boring. Don't think I'll continue reading. It's not terrible, but not great either.

The world is more boring and has far less variety of beings/enemies/layers.

... more>> A lot of talking and faction politics.

Protagonist still has good attitude, but sucks at getting stronger. His "cheat" isn't really a cheat and just helps him level up (which other people can do by themselves) otherwise he's terribly slow.

The mood is generally well written, when not spoiled by obvious filler chapters. <<less

At first I liked the storyline.. But why does the author often tell the sad lives of some girls that have nothing to do with the story??
is it just to add to the number of words in this chapter?? Or does the author have some "abnormal" thoughts towards a girl who has a miserable life??

-I liked this novel but I had to stop reading it because I was sick of some poor girl stories.

More than 300 chapters in, I can say that this novel will grow on you.

Actually, it is just getting to the really interesting part of the world building.

It was a little slow in the beginning, and there was a faint sense of resignation.

... more>> Then the protagonist suffered constantly, it felt pitiful.

Now it has reached a point of beginning an interesting new journey.

I am looking forward to reading more and can recommend it to all connoisseurs of Chinese novels who have patience to watch the process of the making before drinking the wine. <<less
