There's not a lot to say. It's basic stuff for this genre up until the MC confronted the first "villain" ig. The author handled it really poorly, with the situation making little to no sense as to why it ever escalated to that point. It just seems like the author is obviously trying to force a scenario where Chae-yoon (the daughter) would be forced to flex her musical talents and resolve the conflict. Even though it's deeply unnecessary.

The other thing is the cast. They didn't grow on me. To me,... more>> they are made out to be characters who inspire or push Chae-yoon towards the entertainment industry. And exist for no other reason than that. Of course, with 31 chapters there's not a lot of chance to flesh out characters in a sol but that's all they are to me.

The author should focus more on developing their father-daughter relationship. Yeah yeah the daughter is cute, but I need more than that. Other novels already do the cute daughter schtick better. I'll just read that. Their relationship isn't exactly a compelling read.

Anyway, I think the author ultimately wants to put Chae-yoon on the world stage and then reveal that the MC is a genius as well. Awe and wonder ensues. Not really digging it. Would probably be a nice sol if in the hands of a better author. As it is? Don't bother <<less
