is also some Mary Sue thing, ik is common in these types of novels, especially romance but I hate this one since it feels more and more like she is the center of the universe compared to the other novels that I have read that also have this.

and what makes it annoying is I knew that she was gonna deal with the entertainment industry, I simply can't deal with these novels, I seriously hate the entertainment industry so I simply can't read about it, is one of the most toxic industries, that sexualizes everything, including children in ads, or movies, that controversial movie or series or whatever it was on Netflix, cuties or whatever the name was, I know many actors will say they are acting for different reasons, but remove the huge amount of money, fame and all, and yeah, there you go, just be honest, there is no shame in working for money as long as you keep your dignity and principles while being honest, but they all just love acting like hypocrites that self-glorify their job... especially since being at the top of it, there is not only hard work involved, and there is the great kissing scene that they act as if its not a kiss with some random person, purely cause someone records them and pays them money for it, guess p*rn actors don't actually have s*x so stop degrading them, is not s*x, is just acting the act of s*x in exchange of money while being recorded, is morally wrong only when someone doesn't record you, like prostitution, but as long as they record you and pay money for it is ok. ofc, technically they can be best actress and director even without s*xual moments within the movies, but let's be honest, if she is gonna be like her aunt, no, and most actresses always dress up in very revealing clothes anyway, and the author anyway always specified how the MC is cute and her friend is more alluring, so we all know already what is she gonna wear, so yes, is gonna be one of those actresses that is gonna get to the top while self-objectifying herself for fame, so no thank you. <<less

Quite good for a daily update novel of this genre so this is a selective rating. (No major spoilers ahead)

Yes, the title is self explanatory, especially in the beginning, the protagonist goes tear dripping like a leaky tap due to having hyper sensitive pain receptivity yet I don't hate her. Definitely Mary sue but not in an idiotic air headed dependant on male lead way but rather headfast, opinionated and just ungodly talented way. She has her own short comings and things she excels as well as not, along... more>> with her balant usage of her cute face makes her endearing. She gets less squeamish and tear dippy as the novel progresses.

The male lead is typical, more of a unrealistic arm candy that just makes everything possible and sugary. The description is good and the author did a great job in fleshing out the relationship dynamic between the main couple. From a brother caring for a wayward child to two adults who communicate and depend on each other, the novel subtlety illustrates the MC's (age) and the relationship's growth.

The side characters are enjoyable, and author to an extent tracks through their growth and gives room for speculation. Though some random characters come in the second half of the novel, more or less the author doesn't go too crazy, so it's fine. But definitely not a read if your looking for profound character development. Has some really capable female characters in terms of career and decision making including some from the villian side.

One of the major issues that you see with daily update novel is the author forgets things they include just to illustrate some trait or to showcase power and then forget said details as the novel progresses, but this novel uses these hardly mentioned characters from the first half in the later parts of the novel to give coherence to motive which is a plus. Though not the best done but not so bad that you want to drop.

A level of suspension of belief exsist which only increases as the novel progresses. The transmigration, rebirth aspect is also utilised well but with a heavy hand of the unexplained especially with the case of the MC's original parents and brother. The final villians are extremely unexpected and leave room to a lot of questions but motive holds through. A heavy hand of clichés and face slapping but used well. There is a lot of filler with netizen-weibo-gossip-talk which I personally found tiring. The novels tone goes from a school time rom-com to a career oriented transmigration story to a supernatural high soceity family drama.

For this type of novel with said tags, this is a good pick. As a plus, minimal to no xenophobia, xenophilia, China is supreme sentiment or misogyny. <<less

Like the title, she is literally a crybaby...
Reading this novel is like taking care of your little nephew, at first his crying may be cute, but after a while that cuteness is unbearable.

Another negative point, I hate characters that do not have a sense of direction, I don't know who thinks that this characteristic can be cute kawaii.

I believe that we can all unanimously agree that this novel, even if good, still can't overcome that threshold to reach a full 5 stars review.

It's a solid 4.

The fluff was good and the gap-moe was also rather delightful.

Maybe it's because it was MTL but I always felt like something is missing.

But cuteness is justice. So I can give an extra 0.5~

I think this story honestly wasn't that bad. MC was a crybaby and loved to act coquettish but it's not to the point of being annoying. She's actually strong (literally) and smart although some of her skills were a bit hard to explain.

I also love "love at the first sight" trope although it's a bit unrealistic. I prefer that compared to a couple who were full of misunderstandings and loved to play push and pull for several hundred chapters. MC and ML's relationship was so sweet from the day 1 and there's no misunderstanding between them, only endless doting and pampering.

Of course this story wasn't perfect. I didn't like how the author brushed off some background stories and left it unexplained till the end. I also found some inconsistencies throughout the story.

It's a brain dead read, but I have to admit that it entertains me a lot. It has a head over heels at first sight trope - love at first sight isn't enough to describe MC's attraction to the ML. The scenes change so fast and the dialogues are very energetic. The dialogues are over the top and even the emotions of the characters are too sudden, too extreme. Firstly who are these books written for because it cant be women... Even if we assume the women like older men the way these books emphases that the female lead is only a child every other sentence, they make the female leads act like 12 year olds and the older male leads claim they don't like 'children' but proceed to have a romantic relationship with the so called child, kitten, baby *vomit*... more>> In the period novels they use the 'excuse' that in ancient times people got married early so sexualizing 9 year olds 'isn't an issue'. In the modern web novels they make the girls barely legal (17, 18...20) and give them the metal age and behaviors of 12 year olds. There is a clear issue here, I find it had to believe that female readers are the ones demanding this kinda story line. <<less

It's cute for sure. But there were a lot of inconsistencies and lack of explanation that made me think the author put it in the story just to make a happy ending. Also, what's up with the ML and FL having twins? For some reason, a lot of the novels' FL gives birth to twins. The reason the MC cries is because she's extremely sensitive to physical pain. For example, if she gets into a fight, her fists would bruise easily (from hitting others) and she'll cry from the pain. She doesn't cry because life sucks, everyone is treating her unfairly, or she's heartbroken.
