The fluff and dog food was so wholesome and heartwarming. The characters felt very real, like actual human beings and not just characters borne out of tropes. A teenage setting with very mature, gradual growth. I resonated a lot with ZM's story and it felt so healing to see him get out of the dark. I hope more stories like this get translated.

It's simple and sweet.. There is also angst and pain.. The students actually act like students.. They study and worry about exams.. There's no rush in relationships.. Quite realistic school life shounen ai..

ML is tough and mature outside.. But in the end he is just a teenager.. So there are moments when he breaks down in front of his love..

MC is sweet, innocent and study maniac.. He suffered a lot at his old school.. But opened up slowly after transfer.. Made real friends.. Fell in love.. Influenced... more>> the so called bullies to study hard..

The characters grew up little by little.. I like the fact that not other characters around MC and ML were bent all of a sudden.. Most of the times it feels forced and clichéd..

There's a bit too much emphasis on ML's 1.9 metre height.. It was mentioned in almost all the chapters.. Lol..

The ending is a bit rushed and abrupt for me.. I was curious about how MC's family would react after knowing about them.. <<less

This is a cute and heart warming school love story. It doesn't have much dog blood drama but still quite realistic. And the struggles are real without being overbearing.U can feel the emotions in n every parts of the story, it's really heartrending and beautiful. It also teaches u not to judge on the outside. Sadly the ending for me feel quite abrupt and unfulfilling... Still, it's quite a good read.

Like most people, I usually skip a novel under 40 chapters but I'm happy I chanced upon this. 13 Chapters in and I'm already in love with the characters. Worth keeping tabs on this.
