meets Katagiri Asahi, the next person shinigami will announce their death to. Asahi is an empathetic and kind person to everyone, when his death was bluntly announced to him, he becomes shocked but accepts it quickly. The story was cute and all but it kinda fell flat, the tragedy and 'angst' just wasn't impactful. And the pacing felt a bit too fast to comprehend even though the plot was clearly laid out. Shinigami, the protagonist, was ok and I enjoyed reading his reaction to his feelings fluttering and his cute overthinking. But, Asahi just felt like a blank slate, when his death was announced, his reaction was only shock and acception, which I get but he just kind of brushed it off? And that's all his reaction to his death, even Shinigami had more reaction than him. And the author just speedran the romance, cause it just came out of nowhere. But overall, it's aight. And the translations are good.
