I read this novel in raws when I read this for the first time. It was going quite good and it was okay but the reason I dropped was because of what I felt was fat-shaming.

I dropped this a long time back but I still remember the MC always thinking on how the ML was so first and needed to exercise - This was bearable to me for a while until in one of the chapters where ML comes in shirtless for eating breakfast according to his habit and MC... more>> sees that ML had a chubby stomach and felt that ML was too unhealthy. I reacted to that. I am considered to be a chubby person but I am very much healthy - Reading this where the MC kept thinking on how the ML was too fat made me feel bad about myself and I read novels to feel happy and not to start feeling insecure. So I dropped it.

I do know that this maybe due to the beauty standards in China but I could still never make myself read it. I tried continuing where I left off was I wasn't able to. <<less

I am sorry I am not really a descriptive person, , but I feel something is missing after finish reading this story, ,

Maybe because the choice of words is not enough to describe the wholesomeness and chemistry between couples, , or because the lil' sister is forgotten after just a few scene, , or some plot holes regarding the rebirth story, , I don't know, ,

Well, at least I enjoy reading this till the end, ,

Surprisingly mediocre.

I've read other books of this author, one is even a favorite of mine but this novel is just boring.

The story is easy enough, MC is reborn to age 15. He just lost his parents and lives with his uncles family which is exploiting him and stealing his money (inheritance). MC changes his life trajectory and meets a rather surprising ML.

The focus lies with MC and his decorating company. At the beginning the novel is more slice of life and was still ok but then somehow the whole emotional line got lost. ML becomes just a side character at times. Even the problems encountered became so 2d that it is increasingly boring.

Later parts are rushed and the forced Drama was just annoying. I also have to say that the communication between MC and ML sucks.

This novel is far from the writers standard. It's ok to read once but it is nothing special. <<less

I read everything in MTL because the current translation is even more incomprehensible than Google Translate. The MTL is surprisingly pretty good. I didn't really feel like I missed anything.

It's fine except there are some parts before a time skip that the author kind of glazes over all the events. And the ending was also like this. The author lined up the ML’s achievements after college in one chapter so quickly lol.

Plot: 3.7/5

Well, I preferred the author's other poor to rich works because they really started from scratch and step by step, got so great that it was very satisfying. This one, yes, there is still the satisfying building up but the jump to making big bucks felt too early for me. Still interesting, though. I didn't like all the BL in this backwards era, oh noooo side because I feel it was just a token effort that I was not interested in. I would rather they just skipped it. Now that I think about it, I feel like the author could have made it much longer to give the few side characters a better deal. In their other works, they felt... just more to me haha.

Romance: 3.3/5

The romance, eh. I didn't like the whole, ML had long loved the MC and was a total simp for the MC from the start while the MC, for one reason or another, is mature and holds back kind of dynamic, this author likes to do. There isn't as much to like. My favourite dynamic is the one from the Stone Age Husband Raising Journal haha. Very refreshing.

Setting/Worldbuilding: 3.8/5

Pretty okay for this type of story.

Characters: 3.5/5

I felt that it could have been better. Especially the little sister. She's just there for the MC to do stuff about at the start and then for the rest of the story, we don't get much of her.

I read it long ago through MTL, and I absolutely loved it.

The plot is very simple. The MC makes up for regrets of past life and leads a good life this time around.

The ML was seriously too cute. I loved the MC and ML interactions.

... more>> The MC showed great growth and I liked that he had a very clear vision of what he wanted to do, and had his own means of being successful. He takes very good care of ML.

It was a very fluffy, simple read and I definitely recommend it if you are looking for those kinds of novels. <<less

Not a bad story. The main couple was very cute together though I got a little bored reading about the MC's rise in the housing design field. Sometimes I felt that the author wrote about the MC's career in more detail than his actual love line which made the pacing slow at times. I would've liked more detail about the gradual development of their relationship rather than those awkward time skips that after the two officially started to date to usher the leads into adulthood. Maybe a couple of well... more>> fleshed out flashbacks about their previous lives interactions would've also been nice.

The author could've done with a little more showing and a little less telling to make the text more immersive. Even so, it was an enjoyable read overall so I'd say read this if you want a rather inoffensive time killer. <<less

Light Story, easy plot line and little bit of romance. Mostly the focus is how MC build his own business.

And I feel the story abruptly ended in chapter 80+ without explanation now their life after become legitimate couple and so on
