The protagonist has more than three brain cells, which he then also has to put to use, since the problems he faces can't simply be solved by physical strength alone; the side characters aren't personality-less cardboard cut-outs; the writing is good, if somewhat on the less-descriptive side; the humour is on point, so are the feels; and the translator is incredibly amazing and unbelievably humble - what more could you want?

On the other hand, it sometimes feels rather slow-paced, and there aren't many fight scenes if that's what you're looking... more>> for. It also only has 66 chapters in total and hasn't been updated in over a year, so while it is a good read, I wouldn't recommend doing so if you want to see everything get resolved.

Personally, I don't understand why so many people rated it 1 or 2 stars, as it most certainly is not the typical magic-school-with-overpowered-protagonist-avec-harem the first dozen or so chapters make it out to be.

So, I'm going to start this off by saying that this work (the web novel) hasn't been updated in over a year, and is sitting at 59 (including the prologue) actual chapters of content. So, while this is a great story (so far), there hasn't been anything new in awhile, and not sure when there will be anything new.

The actual premise is very interesting. It's not an isekai (to my knowledge), but a fantasy world that places a unique spin on the over-ruling "gods". Our main character is smart, which... more>> is a nice change of pace, but not overwhelmingly smart to where the other characters aren't needed.

It's a good story, with some good intrigue, and (in my opinion) a good plot pace. However, as I stated, read at your own risk considering that this remains incomplete and in Hiatus. <<less

This is actually good and I have a good time reading it. I put 4* instead of five because the main plot is somewhat predictable but it doesn't ruin the novel.

I liked the MC. In other novels you can literally try to kill MC and he won't do anything (they are ""good people"" to the point they looks like idiots) but this one doesn't let people talk tr*sh about his goddess which is refreshing

I also think the author is a good writer because the novel doesn't have suddenly pov change,... more>> it's clear and you always have a general idea on who is talking
