Also, I, who was reincarnated in the same Japan, will never trust my childhood friend again, and I will absolutely destroy the life of an NTR bastard.

Hey guys, after reading it I want to give you guys my opinion and my thoughts on this story. It might be a bit long but bear with me please. First thing I want to say is you guys have to keep in mind this is not a NTR hentai story, do not let the title mislead you.

This story was not bad, but it was a bit heavy for me since it involved su*cide, that always makes me sad. I read it in one go, it was very interesting. I... more>> read some comments about you guys thinking Yui was maybe sleeping around since middle school, but I don't think that is the case. The story is not perfectly translated and it was vague on some points maybe on purpose sometimes, but I actually came to a conclusion Yui was a victim as well. Let me explain and try to defend my case of Yui as a victim. And you might see this story in a different way.

Spoiler

I am going take this story part by part to be as clear as possible. Let's start at chapter 6 and read with me at Yui's confession of what happened on that fateful day. She said she was asked out by Takatsuki and to come alone with him. She did not want to but she only did because she wanted to know why Hiro was being bullied by Takatsuki by confronting him. She met up with him at a family restaurant, but she didn't wanted to stay long. Takatsuki confessed the only reason why he was picking on Hiro was because he wanted to go out with Yui, but as you people know Yui only loves Hiro and she is always by his side. She tried to leave, but he offered her a drink and he got up and left for a moment to get her that drink. She accepted the offer thinking one drink wouldn't hurt. Only after this one drink everything started to feel strange and in her words she felt fuzzy and sleepy. Before she even realized she was already out of the restaurant and going to a unfamiliar building. She doesn't remember everything after what happens next, but what she does remember it was really painful. Afterwards Takatsuki held her hand and led her out of the building, but her mind was blank. She wrote that this all sounds like an excuse she admit this and she kept on apologizing. But the thing is, she was actually innocent. She never should have taken that drink.

I am going to explain what actually happened here, because not even Yui understand. The reason why I said she shouldn't have taken that drink is because that drink was spiked with a date r*pe drug! She was drugged and r*ped, that is the explanation why she doesn't remember much, only painful feelings and was feeling strange and not in control of her mind and body. For those that doesn't know what a date r*pe drug is, these drugs makes it easier for someone to sexually assault or r*pe people. In real life I actually knew some people that were drugged when they went to the club in my city. My classmate for instance explained he was totally knocked out, he couldn't even remember what happened and if somebody would have messed with him he wouldn't even remember that. This is some serious stuff no joke. If you need an example, I remembered the tv show Mr Robot I used to watch had r*pe in it in the second episode of season 1. SPOILER ALERT! A love interest of the main character got drugged and r*ped. The guy was a drug dealer and was the girl's supplier for drugs. She wanted to get the main character some morphine. He later had to lock picked the door to the bathroom and found her in the bathtub bruised and out cold. He also hacked the drug dealer to find out he was bragging about raping her. Now keep the date r*pe drug in mind, we will come to this later again.

Next on chapter 7 after reading the diary the reincarnation of Hiro, Riku coudn't continue reading the diary. He became confused and at first stated the diary sounded as an excuse to never trust his childhood friend again. He wants to trust her, because if the diary was true, then Yui was also a victim. Now this is the part where people assumes Yui was lying. Before I continue I want you to keep in mind that a diary is where you put your secrets in, your feelings, your thoughts and everything you need or wants to write down with full honesty without people ever reading it. So Yui had no reason to lie in her diary. Now to continue, Riku said that Yui would have never met Takatsuki by her self let alone another guy. That she would have told him. But think about it for second here, do you really want your childhood friend to know you are meeting his bully? Besides that he kinda ambushed her by asking her to meet up with him and she just wants to know why Takatsuki was bullying him and was going to sort this out with him and thought this was a good opportunity. If she would have told Hiro then, he might have stopped her and then she would not have gotten the answer, that Takatsuki wanted Yui for himself. In hindsight she should have told him, then probably she would not have been r*ped. And why did they looked so comfortable when they got out of the hotel holding hands, it's because she was still drugged. And why did Yui looked normal the next day, that's because she doesn't remember everything.

This was a part of my explanation that Yui is innocent and a victim. Nothing suggest to me that she was having s*x with consent or sleeping around. If she really is sleeping around there would be rumors about her, but there never was any. But I am not done yet. What we also know is that she eventually committed su*cide while holding a picture of Hiro and that Riku knows that Hiro has driven her to commit su*cide. But he was only a part of the reason, but he will find out later. Let's continue further with what we do know as absolutely facts.

I am going to continue with Takatsuki. In chapter 8, Riku continued investigating the life of Takatsuki. He eventually became a politician. But in his investigations he found bad rumors about him in college about women in general. He often got in trouble with women and had to settle out of court. This is a fact. Now we will get back with Takatsuki later for now we continue with Yui's elder sister.

At chapter 9 we find out Yui has been depressed and traumatized by the death of Hiro, but she is gradually getting better. It took her a month before she got better to go back to school. And we found out about Tachikawa, a popular guy from junior high school. Yui and Tachikawa went belonged to the same tennis club. She used to have a crush him and that is possible, since he was popular, but that was for a short while. According to the sister of Yui, Yui always was in love in Hiro and that Yui told her everything about her love life. Again nothing indicates Yui was sleeping around. Then one day something happened to Yui at school to cause her to commit su*cide, something terrible. At chapter 10 we find out what happened because of an audio recording. The audio contains Takatsuki blameshifting Yui while he r*pes her at the same time. That is right, he r*pes her for the second time!

Takatsuki is a rapist and a liar! Do not forget he is a politician and they are known to be liars and he is very good at it. At chapter 11 there are so many rumors of him and he even admits that he had an affair. You can't trust this person. Now at chapter 12 we come face to face with him. He even came prepared with a voice changer just in case. He claims he used to be in a relationship with Yui and on the audio was an argument between them. He is definitely lying about this. Strange that he never visited Yui when she was at home for a month. Or weird to call your so called girlfriend a whore. No, he is lying. Even Riku knows this, he even stated this. At chapter 13 he is lying to Riku's face with a made up story. First part reveals his lust for Yui though. And when Riku asked him about Yui was potentionally drugged he claims he can't get drugs because he is a high schooler. I am pretty sure he can get drugs, especially since he is a son of a politician and therefore must have connection with certain people. He even try to bluff by saying even if his voice is on the audio it is not a big deal. He then proceeds to try to bribe Riku with money, which obviously was not successful. Eventually we find out the contents of the diary was damning enough to Takatsuki's reputation and career in chapter 14. There were even graphic pictures of Yui's r*pe in the diary. We even find out the reason why the investigations into the su*cide of Yui stopped in the past because the influence of Takatsuki's father. But this time he can't help his son, because he has his own scandal.

Long story short, there are more evidence to indicate that Takatsuki is a rapist, a depraved person and liar than there is proof Yui was sleeping around. Nothing suggest to me that Yui was sleeping around, only words from a liar. I ask you people this, do you really trust the words from Takatsuki, a politician with numerous filthy rumours about him over Yui, the childhood that did nothing but love Hiro? You might argue why she never said anything about her r*pe. Well like I have stated before, she was drugged and didn't remember much, but she only remembered that it was painful. And why was it painful, it is because she was still a virg*n, unlike the lie that Takatsuki was trying to convince Riku and us otherwise. And besides that, even if she remembers her r*pe, do you really think she can easily open up about it. No, of course not. Most people are too ashamed or afraid. Especially if nobody will believe you, they might even victim blame you for the r*pe. One of the reasons why the crime rate in Japan is low is because not alot of people dares to come forward with their problems. And keep in mind the culture is different in Japan, people are more reserved and when they have problems they tend to keep to themselves. They bottle everything inside and live their lives with mental issues. Why do you think the su*cide rate is so high in Japan. You can easily tell Yui was traumatized by the su*cide of her beloved childhood friend. She eventually fell in a state of depression because she lost one of the most important persons in her life. She didn't had time for her own r*pe, because she was blaming herself for the death of Hiro.

I hope I have convinced you people to look deeper in this story and come to the same conclusion as I have that Yui was innocent. I also want to say Hiro regretted committing su*cide, he was hurt and ran away from his problems. He should have confronted Yui and talk about what happened that day. And I also want to say and believe that Rin is a reincarnation of Yui. She had a dream when she was asleep in the bedroom. She saw Yui asking her to protect her childhood friend. Just like in Avatar Aang the Last Airbender she was communicating with her past life. They couldn't be together in their last lives, but now they can live a happy loving lives together.

Now for my closing words, thank you for taking the time to read all what I have written, it means alot to me. Because I really needed to get this of my chest and write this down about what I have found and thought. It weighed heavily on my mind. You might think why go so far. It's because I can't stand the injustice in this story. Yui got r*ped and committed su*cide and people actually are thinking she was sleeping around. Takatsuki eventually got a nice life and almost got away with it all. I feel sad for his wife and child, but his father was guilty too. If you have the time the I suggest you look up Kris Wu, it was just recently but he was found guilty of sexually assaulting, drugging and raping women. This story reminded me of him. I am glad he was found guilty, since he could have gotten away with everything. A victim even got her friends turned against her, can you imagine that. You against a popular person with nobody on your side, you all alone just like Yui was. I just wanted share this with you all. The truth I wanted to share was that people like Yui are innocent.

Words of caution when you go to the club or parties, always keep an eye on your drinks and don't accept any drinks from strangers. Stay together with your friends. Be smart and stay safe. Thank you all again and peace be with you.

the MC managed to get his revenge on the senpai. And turns out the new childhood friend of the MC is actually the daughter of the orginal childhood friend's sister. And she's not the reincarnation of the original childhood friend. But she got a dream one time, that she was asked to protect the MC. And the one that asked her to do so was the original childhood friend. So, the MC did get reincarnated but not the childhood friend.

So, MC didn't end up with the original childhood friend which is honestly what I prefer tbh. But I didn't expect the ending to be like this so... Good job to the author for making a good plot twist!

it's obvious the female childhood friend is as that guy said in the phone call... Behind the MC's back she was probably hooking up with other guys... And the diary is writen with the usual stuff that these types of people use to try to defend themselves from cheating...

The first chapter and the sister's junior high story, and the antagonist's story, along with how the female childhood friend acted the next day and acting perfectly normal as if nothing happened as if she was used to doing this.... Everything fits perfectly... If you assume the main party's (female childhood friend and the antagonist) story are usually made to make themselves look better, it all makes sense...

And that recording is as the guy said probably after she vented her anguish of losing the MC to su*cide on to the antagonist....

The female childhood friend is the type that likes someone (usually a safety net they are 100% assured will be able to hook up with in the end) but also likes someone else that other people likes... And she is just went crazy that the safety net went bye bye... Especially since she is the reason he offed himself....

Read this if you want to feel depression or pain. This novel is a painful tale of betrayal as our MC tries to uncover the truth behind his death and the events surrounding it. I enjoyed the mystery elements quite a bit. The events in the novel were sometimes told from different perspectives like Rashomon, which added to the tension and heartache. This story is a ride in hell all the way through.

Unfortunately the ending was disappointing. It was unsatisfying, and felt forced and unnatural.

4/5 for the author's ability to... more>> make me feel just as depressed as the MC <<less

Well, I can't actually complain. It was a good read.

The story ends in a mystery, and we as readers end up tasked with imagining if Yui was a loose kind of girl going around behind his childhood friend's back or if she was r*ped. And sadly, we can't complain because it is realistic. Even if Yui came back to life, us, as the readers —and like the MC— would not know if to believe her or not, there's no way as to confirm or deny anything, there's no way of finding out the ultimate truth.

We end up having to decide if to have faith in the "Childhood friend" archetype or not. Or do like the MC did, and just let go. Because at the end, he got his revenge and Yui is gone, there's nothing else to gain from it, and he ends up knowing and accepting this. We should too.

So I was expecting it to be a revenge story, and it was with all the edgyness accompanying it, but it wasn't "I mu*dered the guy who made me commit su*cide" but "I made him fall."

It wasn't hard to do because the revenge target was already around the breaking point and all he had to do was release a diary entry from 16 years ago to make everything he did crumble.

Another interesting thing is that at the end, Rin isn't the reincarnation of Yui, Rin is just Rin, they just love their childhood friend a lot.

The title says everything, this is a story about a guy that has his childhood friend NTRed, commits su*cide and is reborn on the same world. Some things happen, and, 15 years after being reborn, he decides to take revenge on the guy who NTRed him.

It's a short story, 15 chapters, things evolve as you'd expect, no surprises here. There is a good plot twist in the story, not a big one, but a good, still.

If you feel like it, give it a chance, it's nothing ground breaking, but it's... more>> pretty sentimental, and has a touching end, if you have a heart, that is, if you're cynical, and see things in a more cold way, the end might anger you. So, if you're not in for the trip, don't waste your time. <<less

Quite good, I would say. In my opinion, this could have been a longer series with incidents written in a more detailed way. But it is what it is.

what I mean is I barely understood what led yui to committ su*cide. She had already recovered from her trauma, although it was implied that blackmailing was involved but it still lacks details.

[collapse]

as for yui's part,

Spoiler

I found it difficult to pity on her. Ultimately, she got r*ped only because she agreed to go on date with him. Not to mention, her feelings for MC is not even clear considering that she had a crush on different boy in middle school. Also, when MC spotted them outside of hotel, they were holding hand and was looking friendly which shouldn't be possible because she was r*ped.

[collapse]

as for ending,

Spoiler

I would have liked if MC continued his trust issues instead of getting into relationship with rin. As for rin, I am glad that she didn't retain memories of yui as it would have led to her being still traumatized by her past.
