I Don’t Want to Become a Villainess, So I Aim at Becoming a Perfect Lady Together with the Prince!

Liz, who came to have a formal marriage meeting with First Prince Alan, unintentionally eavesdropped something.

“Be careful, okay? Liz Beltran is arrogant and has a high self-regard, she is a selfish lady. ……Truly, she is a young lady who fits the word 『villainess』 perfectly.”

“Brother who is disgusted by the wicked deeds of your villainess fiancée, awakens to the true love with the Heroine, and finally reaches the happy ending. I highly recommend Brother x Heroine, so I absolutely want Brother to do your best!”

A bunch of words she didn’t understand came out of the mouth of Second Prince Wilfred who was together with Alan, and Liz was shocked.

“What is a 『villainess』? Why would I be scorned? What did he mean by 『true love』!”

Due to too much frustration, against her better judgment, Liz got teary eyes.

First Prince Alan, who was the partner of the formal marriage interview of such a girl, addressed her thoughts.

“It’s fine. I will cooperate so that you won’t become a villainess.”

At least, what Prince Wilfred said to be 『villainess』.

Liz, who was determined, received Prince Alan’s slightly too sweet cooperation, aiming to avoid becoming a 『villainess』, even though she didn’t know what it means.

This is the story of Liz who aims to become a perfect lady, the exact opposite of a villainess.

A twist to your usual otome reincarnation stories, rather than following someone who was an outsider, we follow the original villainess who overheard her fate and despairs at what she has become and sets out to change. The translation is very well done and is overall quite enjoyable.

The story has me divided: on one hand I love how it’s a change to your usual plot line and that the character we follow is an original “in game” character who doesn’t get a “injury/sickness/accident/whatever” to explain away her sudden character change... more>> and must work to undo her damage and mend her faults. It’s refreshing to see Lily attempt to change her character, and work towards a happy ending with her fiancé.

On the other hand, sometimes Lily reads as a 7 or 10 year old rather than a 15/16 year old while her fiancé, Al, feels older. It could be the byproduct of Al being her mentor, but Lily’s demeanor is more innocent. It’s fiting as you can see why she went wrong do to her surroundings, but it’s a tad too innocent. Sometimes I forget the age of Lily while reading and get shocked at her age again. Since Lily is also a product of her surroundings, it is a little frustrating to see her work to change and yet no one who contributed to her faults (cold older brothers, indulgent parents) take any sort of blame.

It’s not a bad story, it has an interesting premise and if you’re in the mood for something a bit fluffy, this would be a good story to read. <<less

The first chapters are basically just setting up the premise. However, it really makes you sympathize with the 'villainess' main character. Nobody ever told her about her bad personality or about how her surroundings were suffering from it. So when she gets a wake-up call she is pretty much horrified. Of course she would be!

The whole sympathy for the villainess thing is just so cute. She wasn't really trying to be mean, she was just misunderstood. Cue the fluffy life lessons.

Bonus for the high translation quality. Let's hope for more... more>> chapters! <<less

You see a lot of these otome games and reincarnated or transmigrated villianiness who never actually becomes the villian. She becomes a perfect lady, etc. Sometimes you even have a heroine who also knows about the game. There are some good ones out there but this has a twist and I’m already hooked

So far it’s the main character overhearing a conversation which makes her realize that her behaviour is rude. It’s not completely her fault it seems her parents and her brother indulged her. But basically she’s suppose to meet... more>> with her fiancé and finds out that she’s being referred to as a villianiness and has a bit of a breakdown.

The person reincarnated or transmigrated is actually Prince William who is a capture target and ships his brother with the heroine. He tells his brother that he has to get engaged to the villianiness in order to meet his true love. His brother thinks he’s slightly crazy though.

Very well translated with only some minor spelling mistakes. With these kinds of novels, good translations make or break the story, so I'm happy at how well it's translated.

It's a great change of pace to have a villainess want to change themselves without being transmigrated. And watching the villain slowly grow and change into someone good and wholesome is extremely satisfying. The Prince is also fun to watch, since even though he's helping our villainess change, he's not exactly a good person either.

A pleasant fluffy read all around. In the... more>> romance, slice of life genre, this is a surprising gem. I'm glad I stumbled on it! :) <<less

This is a new kind of otome game stories.

The MC is not the usual reincarnation people from other world that will make things right and making a harem.

The MC is one of the character villainess in the otome game. She doesn't realize what she's doing is bad because of her family spoil her, so when she heard she is the "Villainess" and is the worst kind of person, she was so shock and cry because of it. That is when she tried to change and with the help from her... more>> fiancee, the first prince she will strive to be the perfect lady.

I really like the story. I can understand how the MC is feeling when she realize the thing she's doing all this time has been wrong because there's no one that would correct her.

Its fun to see the interaction between the prince and the MC :)

Its cute to see the growth of the MC and how her surrounding respond to her change.

fufufu I can't wait to read the next chapter.

And the translation is really good! I want to give applaud to the translator! (^O^) / <<less

so far it is a really cute story and unlike other otome game stories the protagonist is not reincarnated, and is instead trying her best to change herself for the better after relizing that the things she did were terrible. It is areally hartwarming story about a young girl acknowledging her mistakes and trying to change herself. I highly recommend this !

=Really, really love this novel! The plot is unusual, I mean reincarnator plot is everywhere BUT this time our MC is not the reincarnator! She's only a simple villainess without any past memories.

The MC is so humane ! Really love how- wait a sec. Time for spoiler!

I really love how amazing she is! It's not an easy feat to admit your wrong doing and actually do something to fix it. Even if her effort doesn't always bore fruits immediately, she doesn't feel disheartened and gave up. I think it's good that she has a lot of pride because that said pride became her fuel to become a sensible human being!

In short, this novel is like a breath of fresh air. The plot is unique, the MC is inspiring, the translation is smooth and amazing as well! <<less

This is a tedious read. MC is deemed as villain, but in fact she just never receive the right education from her family. Her 1st brother also disdain her blindly, but never even bother to help educating her on better behavior (even when MC herself is trying to be better and mend her relationship with 1st brother).

Like, you want her to be better, but how is she gonna do it without guidance?! Feels like the adults around MC don't care enough for her to guide her.

The translation is nice. the story itself stand mostly on the MC point of view, at first it tug at your curiousity to keep reading, but I feel like the word used (narrated from MC point of view) was kind of repetitive... Keep lamenting about this bad and that bad, it kinda make me moody. it's just not my cup of tea, but everyone has different taste so go ahead and enjoy the road
