The selfish noble daughter, Rosa Croitzer, is kicked by a horse on her way back from a theater date with her first love, Prince Alex. Thanks to that, she ends up with a large scar on her forehead! However, what’s more significant is that she realizes, “This is the world of the manga I read in my previous life, and I am the villainous supporting character who gets poisoned and killed in the first chapter!”

In her past life, she was a corporate s*ave who died from overwork. In her current life, she’s the heiress of a super-rich duke, with no plans of being poisoned. It’s no joke. She’ll spend recklessly and live a long life! This is the story of Rosa’s struggle. It’s a comedy with no tricks or setups.

The MC became a villainess with a terrible reputation. It's so terrible that she couldn't get away from it even at Chapter 67. Yes, I've only read up to Ch 16, jumped to 67 for spoilers, and then finally went to a JP site for the ending.

Slanderous rumors is one of the plots that I absolutely despise, especially when it gets dragged on for over half the novel like in this case.

I don't know if it persisted until the end, but it seems like the novel is overall unpleasant with... more>> the annoying rumors buzzing over the MC who just thought "Eh, I can't do anything about it, can I?" in Chapter 3. THREE.

Spoilers for the Ending:

Spoiler

Rosa, the MC, is set up as the villainess in the manga. Ellen is the heroine, and Alex is the male lead.

In this novel, Ellen desperately wanted to marry Prince Alex. It's unclear whether she genuinely loved him, but her family was too much in debt for her to stop pursuing a handsome husband whose wealth is their family's life line.

Ellen also seems to be jealous of Rosa who could have everything she wanted because her family was incredibly wealthy.

Meanwhile, Alex wasn't a storybook prince. He was suspicious of his talented and reputable uncle since he (Alex) coveted the throne.

I'm really confused about why Alex did what he did. Rosa's family was really wealthy, so you'd think he'd want them to support him as a prince. However, Rosa discovered he was colluding with others to make it look like Rosa's family wanted to commit treason. Why? Did he hate Rosa that much?

Anyway, Ellen and Alex got convicted, and Rosa planned to make more bath products.

[collapse]

I do think the MC working on the bath products is cute, though. • ᵕ • <<less

This story isn't anything ground breaking, but it does follow the title pretty well. The MC is a lady who wants to live freely, and is perhaps a little too obsessed with bath bombs. The ML is likeable enough. Nothing unusual, but always treats the MC fairly. The story wraps up in a timely manner and is satisfying. It's nothing new, but if you want some filler between readings with an independent MC, this will make due.
