Basically just a worse "I Became The Villain The Hero Is Obsessed With", the concept is essentially identical. There's some small twists/setting changes but things seem to be playing out essentially the same in terms of the main character arcs. Writing is a solid step down too, which is made especially clear in the dialogue. The heroine is written like she's a 6 year old who missed nap time. Everything is spelled out and explained explicitly, lots of "I did this, cause of this, or else this would happen". Just... more>> a subpar product, not horrendous by any means and if you're huge fan of the concept than you can probably find some entertainment in it, but not for me. <<less

Wretchedd (who's now changed their name to Happyengineer42) seems to have read maybe 5 and a half chapters before giving it a review and it wasn't even a proper one. I'm going to take this chance to break down their points because not only are they s*upid as they're only looking at the surface of the story, but are also ignoring entire paragraphs of exposition in favor of making the story look bad.

First, while it's true that the main character does pull a Robin Hood and steal from the rich... more>> to give to the poor, he clearly states his reasoning for doing so multiple times. It gives him more publicity, which is clearly incredibly important if he wants to get his point across when he later steals important documents and information and needs to actually spread it, which he does, by the way, and clearly expressed his intention to do so from the start.

Next, the paintings and jewelry, as you oh so conveniently neglected to mention, were

, and struck a far bigger blow to the conglomerate mentally than simply stealing documents, which were behind a locked, guarded, inaccessible safe since you forgot to mention that.

As for the FL... did you even read? Like a single chapter? It was clearly elaborated on why she was 1) able to recognize him, 2) that it was intentional on his end and 3) why she's so naive about how to catch him. Let me break this down since apparently the name Wretchedd means wretched reading compression.

For the FL recognizing the protagonist, it was clearly stated and shown multiple times that anyone above a certain rank, that rank being A, the FL's, are capable of seeing through facial derecognition technology. Something the protagonist deliberately took advantage of to mess with the FL.

For her acting immature, that's elaborated on multiple times as well in the form of the "original story." The FL has black and white views due to years of

which causes her to be only be able to pursue villains in a straightforward way. Plans she makes won't go well due to her inhibited ability to literally think for herself. This is literally the MAIN f*ckING PLOT of the story, and what the Main Character is actively trying to rectify within the story. How you somehow missed this despite it being talked about for multiple chapters straight genuinely blows my damn mind.

Finally, her not looking into his background... wait, what background? This is a isekai you, as it was put in your review, complete dunce!!! The main character has no background to look into. He literally appeared one day in the world and has been moving from there. As for his movements, one of his abilities is literally

and it explains why he wasn't caught being a villain!!!

Why, in your review of the story, did you seem to forget literally all of this?!? Again, did you even read??! It's really ridiculous that not a single one of these points was mentioned. All of this information was said at least twice in the early chapters of the story, yet you decided to neglect it for your own narrative, which is ridiculous. Be better. <<less

TL;DR: The story is basically a mediocre Robin Hood with superpowers.

The protagonist steals from rich people that have wronged the general populace in some way and gives compensation to those affected. The heroine is a justice obsessed nut job that needs the protagonist to stop seeing the world in black and white. Pretty much ALL the characters are one-dimensional. Either good guys, or laughingly s*upid bad guys that SOMEHOW always get away with it.

The plot and the writing are, well, mediocre. Every single one of the MC's targets is given... more>> a whole wiki page of what they did, how terrible it is and how our righteous protagonist will make it right.

The author also seems to have the memory of a goldfish.

An EMP is used to fry all the electronics at an event before he steps in but in the VERY NEXT chapter MC says the attack was broadcasted live on multiple channels so the government can't hide what happened. Those are some impressive cameras they have there! And the evil and very corrupt government... Still distracts the public? With romance rumors?! Come on!

I'm a sucker for morally upright and smart MC (plus 1 star).

This story takes a regular cliche trope and makes it enjoyable to read with a laid back flow (plus 1 star).

Unlike other novels that have unrealistic background stories and events, the author decided to make the villains and heroes have very real human thoughts and emotions. This is very difficult to do (plus 2 stars).

The Last star is for good old trope of helping those in need and destroying evil while still being able to keep the mystery plot... more>> of the story to keep us guessing and waiting for the next chapter. <<less

A good start so far. MC transmigrates into a villain but decides to be more like Robinhood (steal from the evil, rich and corrupt to give to the poor) to save the heroine from the evils of society. However, the heroine immediately recognizes him at University so shenanigans ensue.
