This is why I say the cases were connected at least in a good way and it allowed to make the story develop and to have a chain efefct to reverse the positions of two step-sisters.

Melon 1. The actress who framed XCC. As I said XCC found that this actress was supported, but this is not the biggest melon that should be shocking, she was a mistress and the original wife committed su*cide, which was also uncovered later. The actress got the short end of the deal, because they messed with wife's medicine, so these revelations dropped shadow on Ye Shiwen as her friend.

Melon 2. Second melon is a pimping case of assistant director on the movie set where XCC who was promised second female lead asked to be a producer of the movie instead. And by the way found a way to remove Ye Shiwen as a female lead. YSW tried to reveal her audition clip, but thanks to reveal of the original session where director explained the character everyone saw that her acting is in accordance with these things, she can't be that good, plus the fact that she was in good relationship with assistant director and his pimping accident it dropped shadow on her participation in the movie. She targeted men, if they refused she'd use means to frame them and at their lowest point appear and have a relationship, because of this she was called a love brain, but the last person was different and refused, she wanted to accuse him of r*, but missed because XCC was smarter. She helped to get blood samples and recordings of Lin Xiao's actions and reveal all her previous transactions as a Lie Smasher. Pretty neat. I think this case was pretty exciting and unusual. But also it allowed the medicie Lin Xiao used to enter the picture, while Lin Xiao entered the game. Although her father promised to find Lie Smasher, but this was put on a shelf. At this time XZX was exposed with disguised XCC again, but XCC used her account to prove that these are same people. But during the arrest some things happened and XCC actually realized that she cared about XZX much more than she thought. The story was also XCC's regret, because in her original world she had a sister Xia Lulu, who wanted to be an idol, but at the critical moment XCC was at other place and her sister tragically died escaping from those who wanted unspoken rules. This made original correspondent XCC turn into paparazzi and uncover those who hurt her sister.

Melon 7. There is a scene that takes place on a cruise ship that was vitnessed by a blogger and spread on the internet, titled cruise ship CP, confession of the wealthy. It's when XZX used drones to confess that he loves XCC and XCC took him to the same place and gave him an answer that she liked him too. I metion this because it will be used later :) While XCC and XZX enjoyed their underground marriage/love some things arrived at the door. She escaped because she revealed that she used surrogate mother to have a child of her and Han Jialin. Han family helped her out. So next was the reveal of this surrogate mother news. Of course Shiwen was completely blacklisted, but now she had no one except Han Jialin, but their relationship began to crumble and her ideal pitiful image began to crumble too. The surrogate mother lived then at Han's and because her relationship was almost over she and her mother, who were chased out of Xia family btw... oh! damn completely forgot, but really can't pull it at which point XCC told her "father" that Shiwen is not his biological daughter, he thought she was. So she and her mother were kicked out. Now their only escape is to take the surrogate mother away. HERE! I can finally continue. Coincidentally on the eve of the Fan banquet, Shiwen and her mother due to absence of everyone decided to move. But when they put the unconsious mother in the car, Fan Sihang appeared. Melon 8. Why the two were out of the picture XCC returned to her business, inadvertantly she found strange that an actress who played role in their movie could not afford a necklace. XCC tried to dig deeper. I'll shorten this melon. The actress's boyfriend used her past as bridge to connect, since she was bullied in school and was fatter, he used the story of a sick mother to get money from her and used it as excuse for gambling. But there was no mother, he wanted her to pay off his debts. Because she was found out and told the truth she rebelled, but the guy blackmailed her with a s* video. She had to serve the boss he owed to pay off. She was desperate. Thanks to XCC both the boss was arrested and the casino was closed down, because of her action the video did not appear, but it was only revelation that they were in a relationship and she was deceived. Thus no black spot appeared. I understand there are some loopholes, like they were scenes at two places and there is arrest and her being escorted at the same time, so better not think too deep. By this time Tiansheng was since long in the hands of XCC and she directed the PR team to help lead the news. Although this actress was from a different company, but was a lead in their movie.

Here is the final "rival". This lady appeared before, but now she appeared again as a CEO of Wansheng, to whom the actress belonged. Using marketing they revealed photos of her and XZX and started to lead public that they were a perfect match, they knew each other in school and even dated etc. So his current make-up girfriend is no good match. And also used it as if they asked Tiansheng to help in PR. Though there is no such thing. Even the cruise ship CP through XZX's Weibo was revealed to be them. Wansheng went down and the last clown exited the stage.

At the point of awards it was the "end of the novel", but to XCC it was end of the mission. She outwitted the main system that her point and Lie Smasher are two ppl and she needs to expose it and go back to make things fair :) As a result main system agreed and XCC returned. I thik the scene of XZX proposing and thanking for her choosing to stay was nice :) Happy end.

But after knowing her background story, FL seems to be quite powerful and resourceful.

There seem to be some unsolved plots (like the ML's vest, and the leads' "children" 's endings, and SCs' stories), but as a whole, the story is a very enjoyable reading~
