the FL, a director whose career had gone downhill as result of a scandal, reunites with the ML, an actor she discovered early on in her career and is now a relatively popular star, in a new drama after 7 years. Both the FL and ML had long been carrying feelings for one another but they're not aware of it initially.

The FL doesn't act on her feelings because she thinks the ML is now way out of her league while the ML tries to flirt with her by using her as a practice acting partner while rehearsing romantic scenes. Lol it was pretty funny watch him go like oh lemme back hug you real quick cause I gotta figure out how to hug a girl properly on camera as if it was totally smooth and normal to do this with a chick you're not interested in. Luckily for him, the FL was dense and also liked him back so it wasn't super weird and awkward.

Anyways, after the FL gets totally wasted one night, she accidentally admits to liking the ML and he's elated. He tells her he's serious about her and from this point on, in his mind they're dating. Sadly for him, the FL totally forgets about this the next morning so the couple goes through this awkward period where the ML thinks his newly made gf is cold while the FL thinks he's too eager as a colleague. When the misunderstanding becomes clear, the poor ML is so disheartened that he runs off and literally bawls for two days in sadness, anger, and embarrassment. This part of the story made me like the ML a lot cause it's so super rare for an ML to genuinely cry over the FL.

Then, after that the FL tries to win him back and some other stuff happens.
