My favorite QT novel has finally been translated... Do you guys like horror? Do you like survival games? Do you like a cool female protagonist who uses her fists to speak? Well look no more cause this novel has all of that and more!

The MC, Xin Lan, used to be a general in the ABO interstellar world and it really shows in how she acts. She was originally in the villain department and was very good at her role. This story begins with her changing to the ex-girlfriend department and... more>> her methods to deal with that role is a little excessive compared to conventional means.

The first world is a survival game with horror elements set in a high school. This is the first meeting she has with the FL, and it's the same FL with every subsequent world. Besides that, the way Xin Lan solves the survival game is just damn cool. It's definitely an example of an OP boss crushing her competition, but the way it's done and the way Xin Lan acts just makes you think "f*ck, she's so cool."

The next few worlds are an ancient China setting, another horror "cabin in the woods" survival setting, an entertainment circle setting, and a survival game in a bugged world. The biggest draw of this story is how cool the MC is, and seeing how she deals with the kinds of settings she's thrown into. The romance is more of a side thing than the main attraction with Xin Lan's personality, but it's still pretty sweet once that is fulfilled. The FL is pretty cool herself, and she definitely is an equal to the MC.

Overall this story was just amazing. <<less

Overall a good yuri series. The MC is great, the romance is sweet. I feel I would have liked more worlds, or variety of worlds. Half the worlds in this series are survival horror worlds. If thats your cup of tea then great. I would have just liked to see our MC and her budding romance in some more diverse settings. Still, I recommend this one. We need more yuri QTs like this one after all, there's never enough!!!

What can I say... I liked this novel, i'll totally read other novels from this author.

Yes it's romance but not so direct like other stories, each arc is interesting and full of suspense/action. Every world is well described, that's what it makes it so enjoyable.

MC original worl is mecha/interestelar, after she dies she finds herself doing tasks (? You can guess if you've read other qts. FL is an AI, after many tasks she becomes a pro and has the right to act without a host, that's how they met.

MCs... more>> character changes after so many worlds, being a villain starts to affect her indirectly even after erasing her feelings/memories... so she changes, now she's the ex-gf and has to take revenge and damn those ex boyfriends/gf are bastards fr. FL acts as the love interest of those guys (and one girl), um but I dont remember her task, sorry.

So yeah, you can actually notice how the relationship evolves. FL fall in love first, MC never felt love before and is not interested considering all the plots in those worlds. So initially she takes FL as a sidekick, helper, whatever.

Something I didn't liked but is understandable is their "roles", MC was an alpha in her original life, a soldier, later a villain... but acts like a tsundere. FL is the one taking the lead always, and helped her a lot with her missions.

The final push for them to be together was so lackluster, perhaps even unnecessary. It felt like a rush of drama in two chapters haha, they would be together anyways, eventually, just by keeping doing tasks together, but it was faster that way.

I won't say anything about each arc because I don't even remember clearly lol but I can tell you that this novel would be great even if it didn't had romance, just for the details. <<less

Overall,

I like this stuff very much..

Cool and domineering MC × equally cool and a badass FL.

I recommend... 🔥

Unlike yaoi, satisfying yuri is as rare as unicorn horns and phoenix feathers..

Sigh.... *

Arcs are beautiful I say, even though there are elements of boredom here and there...

Anyway, I will disregard that considering this is a yuri.

And this work is pretty solid too.

In the first arc, the MC is reminded several times by the system that she will not play the villain role but the protagonist role instead.

Can anyone tell me how being disgusted by everyone and then r*ped and killed fit the role of a protagonist. (It is the original storyline of the said protagonist role I mentioned above). No sh*t. I would say this only looks like some typical villain from a boring movie.

There are also quite a number of illogical lines and thoughts in the novel, for example, MC... more>> is sometimes very reckless then very cautious then very laid back then... In short, her mindset is changing constantly in just a few chapters.

It also feels so strange to me that the MC is plunged into an escape game without any rhymes or reasons in the first arc. And some reviewers said that the arcs are mostly survival and escape types. Escape games are myths among myths IMAO. I can probably count the number of escape game movies I have seen in my entire life with one hand. I think a primer or a nice explanation would be good to have here. I have to say out-of-blue escape game + falsified role really ticks me off.

I would like to say pls edit the lines otherwise I think it would look like a mental patient’s diary. Hope the author will write more good novels. <<less

Okay this one has everything that I love, fluffy romance, cool MC, horror, supernatural... just chefs kiss.

It's really hard to come upon any gl story like this. It is well translated and does not give that cringe. I love that the MC is decisive and smart

After reading, "The ending is rushed" means there is no climax. Some falling action would be nice too. Basically, there should have been a big fight scene/final boss fight with the BUG in the last chapter, probably followed by a wedding day scene. It isn't bad or disappointing or anything, everything that should have happened did happen, I think the real problem is that those two events happened off screen, when they really should have happened on screen. It needs two more chapters.

I dislike that they framed every world as... more>> a simulation full of 2d videogame characters, it significantly cheapens the story. Kinda like how stories that end with "it was all a dream!" suck because it invalidates the whole plot? Like that, but all the way through. It's a major structural flaw in the story IMO. If it were not for this issue, I think all of the various worlds are relatively cool and interesting, but it's definitely fumbled by the insistence that it's not real.

I really love the protagonist and the FL, they're awesome, it's so fun seeing a pair of girlfriends just ruin everybody's day with a boot to the face while flirting? Flirting in the middle of living a horror movie even! XD Its also impressive how they managed to make both leads hyper competent and OP without either feeling redundant or more useful than the other, they are a legit power couple and a very good team. Zero Nine is my absolute favorite though, she's a shut-in AI that filled her tiny space with snacks and videogames - truly a kindred sister! She's one of us! Zero Nine basically spends the whole story watching Xin Lan from her bedroom while munching on fried chicken, occasionally playing cheerleader. She's kinda like Xin Lan's daughter, it's adorable. Especially when she gets into shipping and starts playing matchmaker. Zero Nine completely made the story for me, she's the best!

One thing I wanted to see more of was a deeper elaboration on the emotional differences between humans and AI, that was really interesting and could have added a lot of depth to the characters. They mention it, but didn't really explore that at all in the story. I wish they had.

I liked reading it, I'd give it a Zero Nine / 10 <<less

It was pretty good, but I don’t like that there was so much build up for the romance only for it to last a chapter before then end of the novel. It was super annoying.

Everything, from the writing to the flow of the romance was good. You have to read it for yourself. The author did well in creating the different arcs. Some arcs are more exciting than others, but those were the prior chapters. As for the later chapters, they somewhat tone down for me. Perhaps, that’s due to the MC’s perspective subtly changing. I won’t comment much to the FL. Yes, she’s cool and a badass herself. Yet, it feels like she’s just a helper to the MC. At the end, she... more>> was able to stand side by side to the MC as an AI that fell in love with an Alpha.

The last arc was a bit anticlimatic for me. That’s why I gave 4 stars. However, considering that this is a yuri novel, it’s pretty solid. I know my review is vague and lacking, but these are my opinions. I also do not want to spoil anything. Maybe I have? But those are things that people will naturally know already at first or get to know sooner or later. <<less
