As soon as she opened her eyes, the sickly An Xia found out that she had actually entered a dog-blood novel with wrong moral views! Reborn as the female lead’s best friend, the short-lived ex-wife of the overlord male lead, and the gold digger mother!

The attributes were really unlucky, short-lived, and cannon fodder! In the book, the original owner was forced to have a miscarriage and injured her body. In the end, she was pissed alive by the touching love between the heroine and her rebellious son.

An Xia lowered her head and looked at her pregnant lower abdomen…

Sickly An Xia cried bitterly!

Sickly An Xia: Oh! Finally, I have a healthy body! Heyaaa! \(^o^)/~ Eh, eh, eh? The transmigration also came with a golden finger to keep the body healthy?

Wait wait wait! Σ(⊙▽⊙”

It seems that something is not quite right with this golden finger! Why was there bruise on her skin just after blowing on it? Why was it so fragile! (⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)゚

So far it's ok. It's not great, it's not bad.

The MC is 18. However, she was also always sick and in hospital, so school, uni, socialising, friends. These are all things that she never experienced. So her being a bit dumb and wimpy and confused makes sense. If you have only been around doctors, nurses and your immediate family, you aren't exactly going to be the sharpest tool in shed.

The body she transmigrated into has a lovely immediate family.

With the abortion, she knew that at 7 months, she would lose... more>> the baby and get very sick and die. So she chose the path that lead to her survival.

She gave up custody of her son. Again, understandable. She is mentally 18 and has no attachment to him. If you were 18 and someone literally pulled a random child off the side of the road and said, hey, do you want to raise this kid with a man that hates you and the woman he has been emotionally cheating on you with, how many of you would actually say yes?

She initially helps the body's family because it was the last request of the original host and it gave her something to do. Being with them made her want to treat them as family.

People go on about her beauty all the time. Again, it's something very obvious and easily noticeable, so everybody mentions it.

I don't know if I will finish reading this. At the moment I am curious enough to see how it goes.

Not really sure why some chapters are missing. The page is there, but the actual chapter isn't. <<less

Don't be fool with the rating

It's kinda unfair to the novel, since its not your usual troupe "ML kneel for forgiveness to FL". So yeah many review give this bad rating cause their cp sink or their view are different to the author (so its kind of bias)

This novel tend to cater for mature women, so josei I think? So expect not so much fluffy, but many pricky things (mostly about familial love)

The only downside for me is the many reborn/transmigrator... Welp, kinda feels like a filler. But... more>> its still fine though, an enjoyable read 🙂 <<less

I made this account because I want to leave a review for this story

YOU WANT TO CRAI, AH? GO! GO FOR IT! READ IT! READ UNTIL END!

I MTL'ED this story but end up with chestpain because too much crying caused by OriMC backstory. I really hope it's not transmigration story but reborn story because of some ceritain reasons.

I really recommended this for y'all maso-people that want to read some angst-tragedy-and OFC HE but not with that freak-ML.

I really need that sequel at extra.... (if you know what I mean)

It was nice at the first few chapters but.. What in the world happen at around hundred plus, two hundred plus chapters??? There's a lot of plot holes and questions I needed answer but wasn't answered. And so many vague parts. Like there's parts that are good, like the flow and stuff. But, there's mostly chapters where the flow is jumping all over the place.

Spoiler

There's even that part where Mo Jiashu have a part where he seems to have thoughts of having An Xiaxia disappear like Jiang (?) Mini and have his mother come back. But the next chapter immediately jumps to another scenario.. The transition wasn't smooth at all. More like messy.

[collapse]

Spoiler

Another would be with He Feiyu. She seems that she would have been a good villainess all due to Cheng Yu but it was immediately resolve. In just a few sentences as well. Kinda lacking.

[collapse]

There's basically a lot of stuff in the story that honestly have potential but was way too vague or too confusing, messy in transition, etc.. Causing it to be.. Not that likable.

I was happy at first cause our MC, An Xiaxia seems all cute and all that nice stuff then.. Her personality just.. Changed? It was so confusing. And I am not satisfied with
Spoiler

how Mo Jiashu ended up. Like he wasn't even mentioned at An Xiaxia's wedding. Even though she's not his real mother, didn'the already accepted it? What the hell happened then? He basically became non-existent. The only nice part for the two is when An Xiaxia and Mo Jiashu went to that amus**ent park which had been cut short cause of the kidnapping scenario. Like, what?? It's so conflicting. It got so much potential but.. It became more of a disappointment instead.

[collapse]
Which is sad.

I do like this story, kudos to the author and the translator for this work. But.. Yeah. It got some potential and yet.. I just feel unsatisfied with how the story flow and everything. I read this in less than 12 hours, since it was just short. It'll be nice to have another story like this but more.. Good in the flow and transition.. Hopefully not as vague as this.

Huo Ci and An Xiaxia are nice characters, just need more consistency. Atleast in my opinion.

Spoiler

It's nice that Mo Yunsen got a 4th chance with his An Xiaxia but.. It just feels abusive for both of them at this point. And yet.. I do still want them to be together. Like.. Be able to freely love each other and be happy with their son, Mo Jiashu and their unborn daughter. Definitely a better life for Mo Jiashu.. He deserves it. He honestly needed a good ending and it's awful that he's barely even there at the end of the story. When he was obviously an important character. Hence the inconsistencies.

An alright read, it features several people who have been reborn and transmigrated so it's a bit different than the usual transmigration story. The story's pacing is occasionally problematic as sometimes it moves fast and other times it goes painfully slow.

The MC of this story transmigrates and quickly does not give a crap for the original story (with good reason as her character dies). She immediately tries to live a good life but has the mentality of a teenager. While the story puts her at about 18, she acts a... more>> little younger (justifiable as she spent most of her life in a hospital bed so doesn't really have a lot of knowledge of how to act mature) but is a genuinely good person.

Spoiler

Starting out, she rents a park/garden/farm/massive piece of land for her parents and helps decorate it up. Following that, she puts the divorce money she gets as a monthly stipend into a charity. She also buys two businesses just for her siblings. When the ML says he doesn't have much money, she sells all of her old fancy stuff to get money for him.

[collapse]

There isn't a lot of face slapping as it's more like reputation reversals whenever someone tries something against the MC. Her very small circle of friends do a lot to protect her. The romance also isn't the best. While the ML does pursue the MC, the relationship seems a bit forced. For example:

Spoiler

The MC just happens to be the food blogger the ML likes. Then he ends up filming at her family's garden. After that, it snowballs into him pursuing her and then posing as a fake boyfriend. Every single negative event just enforces their relationship.

[collapse]

That being said, my favorite interactions were between the people who were reborn or transmigrated. Especially towards the end when we know all the characters that have changed from the original.

My only issue is that there were some things left hanging (for example the son's thoughts on getting his mother back was just a random passing thought and that was it).

Otherwise, it's an alright read. Definitely better than some stories but not far above the average. <<less

This was pretty good. At the end of the day, it's the MC succeeding in life, feel good type story with a strong end half full of the romance. And so many characters reincarnated/transmigrated/time travel what have you.

Only question I have right now off the top of my head is
Spoiler

why wasn't the son at the wedding?

I like the extra stories. Good luck to OGML

I completed this novel and I’m not sure how I feel about it

Some arcs were too long ... more>>
Spoiler

Variety show (which went nowhere, if you took it out it wouldn’t affect the plot) and the wedding prep-close to $1 Billion RMB spent on a wedding?? We get it. They are rich

[collapse]

And

Spoiler

The amount of reborn/transmigrated characters was outrageous. Every other character knew the original plot and worked to change it

[collapse]

And all the descriptions of expensive clothes and accessories became boring

There were two Green Tea B*%# in the novel, both were interchangeable and the second one felt like she was there to extend the word count

I think that is my main problem with the novel, it feels like the author was paid per word, so she drew everything out and the plot was lost

I liked the FL in the beginning, but by the end she was boring

I didn’t hate it, but I can’t recommend it <<less

Overall was pretty alright. Liked the extras and how they the author allowed the character redemption. That being said didn't really like the multiple transmigration/reincarnations, would've been better with just one.

Out of transmigration FL, IMO, An Xia's golden finger is the most desirable. She can eat everything, absorb the essence, then when she eat, she got to recognize the dishes recipes, later it turn her into a chef. What a foodie eutopia.

But, too many plot holes and filler. An Xia's Mary Sue-ness was not build and explain well, and its like just thrusting on one's throat. The reason why Huo Ci like An Xia felt a bit shallow. How the author writes Jiushu character is also inconsistent, more like a... more>> teenager, rather than a child, or an adult in a child body.

It readable, at least not droppable. It just too draggy. <<less

I really like the story so far. There are somethings that were basically completely forgotten after the first mention of it or used randomly several chapters later but I am not overly picky about stuff like that. The story was just a fun way to pass time. I have read other stories by the same author and I think this one is okay but not any better then the authors other work. The translation is good.

This is a very subjective review because I really enjoy some no-brainer novels from time to time. This one is pretty cute and has some drama. The face-slapping at the end was pretty satisfying not gonna lie about that.

I kinda felt bad about OG!ML but he had it coming.

Spoiler

I know that it was OG!FL schemes. But it doesn't change the fact that he treated his wife, a.k.a. FL, pretty poorly while listening only to one side and never communicated with her. But to be fair, the original body owner was pretty desperate herself.

This series is a fluffy family drama in the guise of a 'dog blood' drama. Our resident MC is an 18-year-old student that is dropped into the body of an unfortunate wife of the tr*shy male lead. After living in hospital due to an illness, she is given another chance when an older woman in another world that shares the same name dies. The woman has a few requests before her remnants leave the body, pertaining to the care of her relatives and the son that she loves. An Xia... more>> also gets a few wishes during the transition between the two bodies and these provide her some neat buffs.
In the typical CN transmigration style, young An Xia has read briefly about the other woman in a drama novel. However, she doesn't have a 'download' of memories like a lot of other stories in the same vein. She must, therefore, frequently wing it. She is also a bit inexperienced and naive when it comes to the adult world. Her good nature comes, a lot of the time, with either trying to fulfil the wishes of the former host and in trying to experience things that she never got to in her former life due to being in hospital. She comes off as adorable, which endears her to other people, including a growing list of male admirers.
Given that she read the first storyline before her own untimely demise, An Xia agrees to a divorce to Mo Yusen, abort their second child (the original dies due to a bad pregnancy) and give up custody of Mo Jiashu, their son. Heading back to the family of the original host soon after appraising the junk that the other Xia used to deal with the crap she was going through, the younger woman returns to the family of the host. With the help of her lawyer bestie, An Xia begins to help her family out financially. It also leads to her helping her parents and siblings deal with toxic relationships.

To Mo Yusen, the 'male lead':
Spoiler

Mo Yusen has treated his wife like tr*sh for years, all because he believed nonsense. His reasoning for continuing to mistreating her is complete bullsh*t and standard fare for dog blood drama. However, when a new soul starts calling him out on it, he is faced with the notion that he has wasted years of his life because of a wall of lies built up by the 'female lead'.
Does this excuse his behaviour? Hell, no. Why? Because he ate up the BS like a starving animal. He also comes off as somebody that needs to be told the truth instead of checking for himself - aka, a sheep.

[collapse]

To Mo Jiashu, An Xia and Mo Yusen's son:

Spoiler

Mo Jiashu is initially cold to his mother. However, a bout of sickness unseals his memories from the previous timeline and the former adult gets pretty pissed off with both his dad and the 'female lead'. But, mostly the 'female lead' because she turned out to be a white lotus that destroyed his mother and whose actions nearly caused his company to be destroyed by her twins from her previous marriage.
Yep, the twist is that the 'female lead' was dodgy AF came to light after the novel concluded. It also turns out that her children also maliciously tried to destroy his company because they secretly hated him. Why? Well, their mother treats Mo Jiashu better than her own flesh and blood. It seems that the novel writer is an *sshole because they lied by omission.
Because of these memories, the regressor gets what he believes to be his second chance to get to know his mother. However, young An Xia doesn't have the heart to tell him that his mother is gone. He becomes the protective son, distances himself from the 'female lead' whilst contemplating revenge and gets to know his mother's family. IMPO, this is really adorable because he realises that the pursuit of revenge might result in him missing out on the making of precious memories, suggesting that he can actually think beyond his anger at the injustice.

[collapse]

Issues? The story became more repetitive over time, heavily reducing my enjoyment of the story. There is, after all, only so many scenes where a character can look in her massive wardrobe of designer clothing and accessories before it gets old. If a story doesn't move forward, it becomes uninteresting due to stagnation.

I have a lot more to say about this story but am finishing early due to time constraints. I will likely add in a bit more to this review in future revisions but suffice it to say that I really like this series. <<less

Well, this was a dogblood-level drama kind of read! It's also a clusterf*ck of reincarnated people and transmigrators!!! I enjoyed this more than I was expecting to (given the drama)... not perfect but it was pretty good. It's a story of a girl transmigrating and receiving a cannon fodder identity, in exchange for finally having a healthy body and freedom! MC is quite OP and Mary Sue I guess but it's not too terrible, quite enjoyable to read a fairly smooth journey~ I was also really pleased to read about... more>> MC discovering the unreliable narrator's POV of the original novel and having a good life (besides the appearance of the scums and green teas). The extra chapter really sealed the deal for me and I'm glad to have finished this :'D <<less
