Concubine Favored Over Wife? I Refuse to Be the Lady of This Marquis House

Lin Yunwan is the legitimate daughter of the prestigious Lin family. As the marquis’ mansion is about to lose its title, she is married off to the eldest son, Lu Zhengliu.

On the day of their marriage, her husband coldly utters, “Marrying you was not my intention,” and then neglects her for a whole seven years.

She always holds onto a glimmer of hope for marital harmony, diligently raising the adopted son from the family clan.

Until the adopted son achieves success and fame, she is also exhausted physically.

She thinks her life is considered complete…

On her deathbed, the adopted son says to her, “Mother? She is my real mother!

You are just a cruel stepmother.”

Lu Zhengliu, with his humble (status as a mere “cousin” fit only to be a concubine), tells her, “You have occupied the position of the main wife for twenty years, it’s time to return it to Bao’er.”

Lin Yunwan dies with anger.

For twenty years, she dedicated herself but gave away everything, even raising the child for someone else.

It’s truly unbearable.

In her second life, she refuses to endure it.

If anyone dares to trample on her, she will make them regret it!

The wife of the Marquis’ heir died in a large fire.

It is said that the heir, Lu Zhengliu, was heartbroken to the point of madness.

At the same time, the most favored Huan Prince, Qi Lingheng, also acquired an elegant and noble royal consort. Some people noticed that the appearance of the Huan Prince’s consort was surprisingly similar to Lin Yunwan.

Qi Lingheng, with his deep and handsome face, showed a rare smile: Fortunately, someone doesn’t have a discerning eye; otherwise, how could I marry the beloved royal consort?

Simple but quite unique.

It's a reborn novel, but the FL doesn't seem reborn at all, as her character didn't improve much here.

Other than few earlier chapter... Where she avoid adopting her enemy's son.. fake death & run away.. Later on (like most of ancient women) she's mostly relaying on ML on everything..

Their romance quite bland.

The plots was simple. No ups and down.

This novel tries to be smart but it's not. The plot is bland and drawn out, the characters are flat and they way they speak is fake and superficial. Villains are so low level and s*upid, and MC's schemes are nothing worth mentioning. The romance was so weird. There is no chemistry and barely any interaction between MC and ML before he just randomly says, 'I want to marry you.' MC refuses and puts up like 5 chapters of token resistance before she just changes her mind and says yes.... more>> It's not like she felt an overwhelming surge of love or passion. Their relationship is the most platonic and non romantic pairing I have seen.

MC's escape from her real identity doesn't make any sense. After she "died, " the plot became even more s*upid and boring. <<less

Like the title says, 'favoring the concubine & killing the wife' is a running theme in the story, & it's treated like a real crime. What's just a spicy relationship scandal in modern times was considered a serious character defect in ancient times bc it showed that a man was so dominated by s*xual gratification that he could break the rules about legitimacy & bloodlines, which is very very taboo, bc everyone, even the emperor, had to obey these rules, or society would descend into carnal chaos. Maybe I'm exaggerating... more>> a bit but that was how they did cancel culture back then - you get exposed for this behavior & your job goes poof.

MC lives her first life devoted to her ungrateful, childish, and selfish husband & adopted son. Both of these men are unreliable & fickle in their love, only loving most what they can't have, aka the concubine "cousin". Regardless of all MC's efforts to help them, they only treasure the "cousin" who can't be the legal wife or birth mother in the first timeline. In her 2nd life, MC leaves while the "cousin" stays trying to help them, so they beautify & treasure the lost MC instead. Truly some scum of the earth behavior from father & son alike.

The romance isn't fiery or spicy, but it does have a strong foundation that's hinted at here & there. The MC & ML (not the ex-husband, don't worry) were childhood friends who often saw each other as the ML was being tutored by MC's father. ML always remembered his teacher fondly & initially helps MC bc of this, but gradually he develops feelings for her, or realizes he had always had a crush on her - I'm more inclined to believe it's the latter bc ML was never interested in women or marriage until he considers marrying the MC. And from there, he determines that he won't marry anyone except her, and that's about the most romantic thing an ancient Chinese man could do.

ML is a miracle husband who actually doesn't want polygamy in their era of almost 0 women's rights. It's barely believable bc he was traumatized
Spoiler

by an almost-castration during what was supposed to be his first s*xual experience

[collapse]
at 10. The novel glosses over that part, but I found it morbidly funny that that's apparently what it takes to scare a man into monogamy. Notably, one of the happy side couples is also monogamous, and their first encounter involves the girl wielding a pair of large scissors & scaring the living daylights out of the guy.

I quite liked that one of the antagonist characters got to get out of the toxic environment that made her into an insufferable spoiled brat, & she matures to the point that she became a savvy wife, a better person & got her own happily ever after. Although the main antagonist "cousin" was always somewhat s*upid, she also didn't start off as just plain evil, which I again appreciated. The "cousin" was a normal girl that got corrupted by the evil done unto her & chose to retaliate against not only her enemies but also everyone she thought stood in her & her son's way to a life of riches & glory. "Nevermind the cost in human lives, she's chasing the bag, " that kind of mentality made her lose everything that really mattered. Her ending was ironic & somewhat tragic
Spoiler

replaced by a look alike that gets her real family's love & acknowledgement which she never got because she was too busy plotting against people to work on herself

[collapse]

I also enjoyed the implications that the "cousin" wasn't doomed from the start & could have actually gotten her happy ending if she hadn't made the worst decisions. Like, she could have just waited until MC divorced or 'died' to marry legally. Or she could have just become a concubine & let her son stay as MC's nominal legitimate son. Or even, at bare minimum, she could have just not tried to commit arson & mu*der the MC, & then she would have been able to go back to her family and marry as a legitimate wife. Her choices were limited but they did exist, & she wouldn't have ended up how she did if she didn't consistently choose to hurt so many people. I guess that just gives me hope that real women were strong enough to live through this social disparity & not resort to actual crimes.

Overall it's a good relaxing read that stays entertaining for 250+ chapters. <<less

Rebirth novel like this have it's own cliches like other rebirth novel. Although the characters and plot are interesting, it was not honed enough to be a captivating novel.

Lin Yunwan, the MC, just want to get a divorce from her husband and freedom from Lu family. Along the way to reach that goal, there are a lot of intrigue and face slapping. She was help by Prince Huan, Qi Lingheng the ML which later will become her husband. While the characters is likeable, the depth of it not depicted well,... more>> especially for MC (for example, her literary ability, her plan on incense making, or her role as a Huan princess), and also for other character like Qi Lingheng and Lin Yuanyi. They do shown their ability but it felt like a shallow presentation.

The plus point, this story have a formidable antagonist, they are the one that, even with a lot of face slapping, they become more cunning and shameless, especially in the Lu family. But it also that made this novel engaging.

The romance fell short and lack some charm, it not describe why the ML fall for FL. It just happened.

The most interesting character in novel, I found it on FL's eldest adopted child, Lu Changgong. He is shy, calm, smart, loyal to the bone, and cunning. The best story part of him is when he help FL to pretend her death and when he shed his pretense in front of his nominal father.

Overall, it a nice read among it's genre. <<less

An average novel with a likeable MC, but it lacks that spark that could make the novel stands out more.

Lin Yunwan has a second chance of life and starts again at 23 years old, when she has already been married for 7 years. She doesn't want revenge for her first bitter life, she just wants to divorce from a neglectful and fickle man. Her husband, with the support of his mother, forces Lin Yunwan to adopt his child, born out of his mistress and let his mistress enter his house... more>> so that one day he would marry her.

Up to the point I read, the settings of the novel is constrained, pretty much, inside the residence of Lin Yunwan. She is very prepared and meticulous in carrying out her plans to subtly annoy and damage the mistress while mantaining an upright and respectable facade in the hope of getting a divorce one day.

At the beginning, the mistress is not an evil character. Being a poor woman with a shaky background, her only hope for a better future is to marry well, so she attachs herself to Lin Yunwan's husband. As time goes on, she gets crazier (mainly driven by Lin Yunwan) and actively tries to harm her. It's a pity that the author followed the standard route of the scheming evil concubine against the main wife when she could have developed her character more, for example emphasizing how the concubine herself was a victim of a society which left women no other alternative than to rely on a man.

I don't know if it is a true historical fact but it's very laughable reading in the novel how the sin of "the husband favors the concubine over the wife" is so scandalous and outrageous, comparable to a serious crime, you'd think he were a serial killer.

The romance with the ML is very mild and uneventful. I always prefer when love grows slowly and naturally in a couple but here there is very little build up of their relationship. There is no connection, no spark, just two people that happen to interact a few times. They meet, talk about business, he helps her and then, he asks her to marry him in one of the most boring, superficial and generic declaration I have ever read. You can read a piece in the spoiler

Spoiler

Lin Yunwan then asked him, "Why... are you doing this?" She couldn't fathom why the prince wanted to marry her.

"Your Highness, you know my status better than anyone. Marrying me brings you no advantage."

She was no longer the legitimate daughter of the Lin family, and her father's accumulated reputation and the like were now irrelevant to her. Since there was no political motive... matters of love and affection shouldn't be taken too seriously by them.

Lin Yunwan said, "Whom you marry makes no difference, does it?" There really was no need for the two of them to marry.

"Lin Yunwan. There is no particular reason."

Qi Linghen looked at her indifferently, "I simply want to do something that comes naturally."

Lin Yunwan was puzzled, how was this natural?

Qi Linghen found it hard to explain... initially, he hadn't felt particularly drawn to her, but he found himself wanting to marry her.

First of all, this is not a masterpiece or a particularly outstanding work.

However, if like me, you were looking for a nice, easy read to simply pass the time, then you may proceed. In this novel, the good parts are fine and the average parts are passable.

Overall, this story felt like a prototype which the author crafted for his following work (Such as, the author had many ideas in mind that he wanted to develop but sensed that they could not be implemented as envisioned, some are actually explored... more>> others discarded along the line but at least he gave the reader somewhat of a closer look).

Ps. I would have loved to see more interactions between Lin Yunwan and Lu Changgon. Their relationship had so much more to offer and a lot of potential yet to be developed. <<less

This is a very, very interesting read that I super highly recommend. Lin Yunwan is a great character, very strong and steady, with a deep mind and a talent for scheming. She values sincerity and intelligence. The ML, Qi Linghen, is fine, nothing special. They have OK chemistry, but the romance wasn't stand out to me.

But the MC had a lot of other great and interesting relationships. Her brother, Lin Yunyi, her adopted son, Lu Changgong, another one of her husband's concubines, Zhu Qing, are all characters who have great... more>> relationships to the MC - and to each other! Seeing Lin Yunyi and Lu Changgong's comraderie endure over the years was quite nice.

One of the most interesting relationships Lin Yunwan had is in the second arc.
Spoiler

After she fakes her death and takes on a new identity, she has a "half-sister" born to her "father's" second wife. They don't initially know Yunwan isnt actually the father's daughter (who died, banished to the countryside, before MC took over her identity). The half sister, Lin Yunjiao, is a spoiled brat, but she eventually falls in love with a poor, scholarly cousin of hers who her mother intended to marry Yunwan off to. She married him in the end, and while she doesn't live a life in splendor funded by the stolen dowry of her father's first wife like she used to, she lives a good, honest life for herself independently with her husband and even ends up helping Lin Yunwan out. I just thought it was a nice and interesting twist on the usual tired formulas we see for cannon fodder women.

[collapse]

Well, in the end, it was nice to see people get their just desserts, and while I think a lot could have been expanded on - like the relationship between Qi Linghen nd his older brother the Crown Prince, or the romance of Lin Yunwan and Qi Linghen, especially their childhood relationship... It just feels like there were missed opportunities. Still, it's a great novel and I really enjoyed my read. <<less

Mediocre story with mediocre translation (I read the one by FlamingoBees).

Like others have said, the plot overall wasn't unique, it was all about harem women's evil schemes. And the evil villains were too obviously evil with no redeeming qualities.

When turning off your brain for historical harem-focused novels, you get used to ancient women being villainized. It is kind of a pity that in order to elevate the MC, the author decided to make the other woman a scheming, poisonous creature. In reality, the OG-husband had more responsibility for how the... more>> way things turned out, but the author portrayed him as someone pitiful instead. Meh.

As the author emphasized multiple times, in ancient times, men had all the power. While following this kind of plot where all the women kept scheming and shooting themselves in the foot while the men passed judgment on them willy-nilly as it if wasn't their responsibilty or their fault, usually leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

That said, the main relationship had its wholesome moments

Spoiler

eg. ML didn't care that she had been married before and still wanted to marry her despite her being another man's wife for like 7 years

[collapse]

But again, as other readers have said, the ML falling in love was written very subtle. I usually enjoy subtle romances, but this one lacked a lot of substance.

Finally, the translation by FlamingoBees was basically completely ChatGPT with very little editing. In terms of people's names, you'd get weird mixups like Chang Gong being translated as "Long Bow" in a paragraph before going back to Chang Gong, because there was no editing. <<less

This story wasn't something new but rebirth and revenge story always had that charm to me despite its mediocrity. Anyway, the revenge itself was quite satisfactory. As for the plot, there were some things that I found lacking such as:

    • The chemistry between MC and ML. I find that ML's feeling towards MC felt out of the blue to me. I know that they're childhood friends but since the author didn't elaborate about their childhood time much, I felt that there was something missing about them.
    • There were some characters that didn't have any effect towards the main story but was kept mentioning, for example: Lady Guo.
      Spoiler

I thought in the beginning, MC would learn making insence from her to get into insence business after her divorce but in the end, her life was provided by ML and MC was still wealthy without doing anything

      [collapse]
    • Some conflicts just got brushed off without further proceeding, for example: the conflict with the crown prince.
      Spoiler

It's mentioned that ML and the crown prince tried to tackle each other in the background but the author didn't elaborate much about it. When we finally met the crown prince, he barely had any strength to do anything since he was almost at the end of his life.

      [collapse]
Aside from those above, I think this story was still quite entertaining to read. Just don't expect too much though.

This is a good novel to pass the time. It's not an innovative novel, but it has a lot of face slapping. If you enjoy backyard drama then you will like it. There's 3 acts. The first and second is mainly drama. It drags a bit in the middle, but if you can hold on until the third act, it's a satisfying conclusion.

No the ML is NOT the husband. The love story develops slowly and I like seeing how it progressed. The ML is very devoted and accepting of the... more>> MC. At the time of their marriage, she is older and divorced. These are two big no-nos back then. But he loves her just the way she is.

I will briefly summarize each act below. Don't look unless you want major spoilers.

Spoiler
    • First Act: we meet the MC and realize what a crap marriage she is in. She tries to get a divorce but can't. Ends up faking her death with the help of the Prince who has had a crush on her for years. This is all platonic because she is married.
    • Second Act: MC assumes the identity of a dead woman and moves to a faraway province. Wouldn't you know it, the Prince just happens to also move to the same place to become liege king. What a coincidence. The MC assumes the identity of a sheltered daughter from an old household. Thus, her movements are limited. So her interaction with the prince is limited to a few secret meetings.
    • Third Act: ML and MC move back to the capital to deal with unfinished business. MC has to contend with the exes and she has to get along with the Imperial Family, her new in-laws.
[collapse]

I may have read a slightly different version or translation of the novel. I didn't see the lackluster proposal one person alluded to. I mean, there weren't doves and violins or anything. But it wasn't THAT bad.

Spoiler

There were multiple "proposals" because she kept shooting him down.

[collapse]

Edit to add: I like that the MC relies mostly on herself. She doesn't depend on anyone to save her. In the second act, she rights some major injustices that were done. <<less

The translation is a bit sloppy at times but readable. What stood out to me about this novel is that most patriarchal/ancient society novels, even with female protagonists who are wronged, do not seriously face the wrongs women have to endure in such societies and have the characters themselves acknowledge the wrongs (rather the wrongs are portrayed as largely the fault of antagonists, not as a result of the portrayed culture). This novel, however, has individuals within the society who acknowledge the wrongs. The only shortcoming would be that the... more>> novel ends at a point where it seems the characters are finally in a position to do something about those societal wrongs, but does not proceed to have them take any action (which I would have liked to have seen, because, apart from the protagonist buff, the portrayal of the characters does seem deeper and more pragmatic than other similar novels). <<less

It's not bad, it's actually better than most 'reincarnated to take revenge' stories. However I really just got tired of it after awhile. I was pulling through for MC's relationship with her adopted child Changgong and that's what kept me going for awhile. However other factors in the novel just didn't sit well with me.

I fully acknowledge that these sort of stories are literary junk food and that I shouldn't be thinking too deeply on these sort of things. But this is perhaps the one story where I just got... more>> a touch fed up with a lot of the tropes you see in this genre. Below is more a rant than anything else. If you're fully invested in the standard tropes of this genre then frankly I think you'll enjoy this novel. You don't need to read further.

Spoiler
    • The less than subtle classism between Bao'er and Yunwan drove me insane. It's always been somewhat present in this genre but it's dialed up to eleven in this story. Everyone praises Yunwan for being well read, but hates Bao'er for trying to learn? Why? No, legitimately, why. I understand that in some dynasties well learned women weren't ideal, but the dichotomy between everyone praising Yunwan and then hating on Bao'er just didn't sit right with me. Especially as this was well before Bao'er showed just how insane she truly was. It felt like the author was putting the cart before the horse.
    • Just everything about how Bao'er is handled rubs me the wrong way. Make no mistake, she's an awful person who ruined multiple people's lives due to her selfishness, but frankly she's written more like a caricature than an actual human being. I can't root for her downfall when her motivations and logic are thinner than wet rice paper. Eventually you just get tired of seeing her and get even more tired of seeing the s*upid excuses the other characters use to keep her around. Hell it just makes Yunwan look s*upid for not realizing what was occurring in the first timeline. Because clearly Bao'er has a hole in her skull and would have self sabotaged regardless of any intervention.
    • How Qing'er was handled was what ultimately made me drop the novel. Sure, in the original timeline he turned into a vindictive little weasel. But even in that timeline you got the sense that it was because he had multiple people whispering in his ear, telling him to hate Yunwan. Which is substantiated in the current timeline when we see he's literally just a small child who wants to help his manipulative birth mother. He doesn't understand that his birth mother is a snake. He doesn't understand that she's ruining his future. He just wants to be with her. And at every turn this child being manipulated is framed as a moral failing on his part. When Yunwan essentially told him to stop visiting her after Bao'er was thrown out of the manor I had to stop reading the story entirely. That is where she lost me as a protagonist. I don't care what the kid did in his prior life. He's not even ten years old in this life and seems willing to be better, but is constantly being dragged down by the Looney Tunes character that is his biological mother. But sure, let's not be sympathetic to the literal child who can now grow as a person and be better than he was in his past life. That would have been a more satisfying revenge for me. Taking Qing'er and ensuring he succeeded to spite both Zhengliu and Bao'er. But no, can't have that in these novels. "Oh but Crimson, he would have resented Yunwan eventually!" Given how he was being written to that point I very much doubt it. But then again who knows what weird logic the author would have pulled out of their bu*t to justify it. They seem hell bent on demonizing a literal child while also going out of their way to make the child as sympathetic as possible. :/
    • The way Lu Jia just instantly hated Yunwan also made me roll my eyes so hard they almost popped out of my skull. Really? We needed another vindictive woman to hate on the MC?
    • Given all of these problems in the first third of the book, I couldn't for the life of me decide to continue reading the next arcs. Maybe it gets better, I don't know, but I'm already nursing a headache trying to reconcile the current plot and I'd hate to see how it ends up when we get palace politics involved.
      [collapse]

Suffice to say I didn't enjoy this story as much as I had hoped. While it's not the worst in this genre, I think it's the straw that broke the camel's back for me in terms of how much I'm willing to put up with. Maybe it's a sign I'm growing out of the genre, I don't know, but I fully acknowledge that could be the case. As stuff like this didn't always used to bother me so much. <<less

I really enjoyed the first arc. It was a much more satisfying version of "who cares".

She frustrated me after her identity switch. No matter how kind she inherently was, her experiences, trauma & rebirth should have also informed her future actions

  • A married woman was so dense to men's feelings. No man on earth is just helping you simply to return a favor
  • Her misgivings and inability to be ruthless when needed was weird. The whole Lin clan knew Lin Yanwan had been abandoned & noone saved her. Noone was innocent
Mc's life... more>> with Lin Family was too long and drawn out. The antagonists were so mediocre yet ever-present and annoying as pests. I skipped so many chapters and missed nothing. <<less

This is a well written story that makes the reader think. I'd call it a gem. The 4 is earned.

Maybe because the leads are not exuberant or flamboyant but steadily do what they must people underrate the novel? My heart didn't beat fast at the romance but it felt like the author was building something substantial and huge between them. Deep steadfast love and devotion is also beautiful. And then my heartbeat did increase. Because when he realizes he loves her is a sweet sweet moment. And then there are... more>> more such moments. Nothing terribly overt but don't we all know what calling for water multiple times in the middle of the night means? Ahem.

The author did a wonderful job character building.

I like what another reviewer said about the lack of awareness of cultural fault in most storytelling like this. This author knows. But most of us can recognize the defects of our nation without aspiring to change things. It sucks but it's true. So even this feels like realism to me. <<less

Spoiler

The ending for the ex-husband and his son felt wrong.

The relationship with the FML and the adopted son should have been more...

I was surprised how cold-hearted the adopted son can be towards the ex-husband considering how well he treated him.

Maybe the ex-husband's son could have been a better person but then again the FML had cherished him in her 1st lifetime but he still hated her.

The ex-husband didn't seem like he did anything extreme that could've warranted him that kind of ending.

They all could've moved on and lived well but then there would be no story.

It's predictable but I must say, with all those defects 'bout translation this story still can hooked me until that ch is a proof that this novel is good, and I don't agree that author portrait mc's ex-husband as pitiful.. I feel they portrait him as s*upid, and as a clown for the story he just that ironically ridiculous.

This story is not ur typical sweet for nothing historical with huge golden finger, if u know empress military lineage (?forgot the title) this aura is similar but this story maybe not as sweet and straightforward as that, it's a hidden sweet, u need to empathize with ML and MC, their mind set and social moral at that time.

Spoiler for the romance

Spoiler

The romance really began after she left Lu's House, in 139 I can feel MC almost ''misunderstanding'' ML behavior, this difficulty to say intention to someone u love is really such a formidable wall, both of them was modest people, our MC already have intention to remarried and choose the best one.. But I guess she still shackles with her previous mind set.

Btw this is just another lil spoiler

Spoiler

They break the wall at 169 and progress to the good thing at 182, it not that slow, suddenly I find it more logical to them not so deeply in love, the love is come from devotion, and trust, although they not say it explicitly you can saw it, just be patient and they will be married so don't be nervous. It's almost smooth sailing and the after marriage is sweet.. Although moderate and modest and a bit rush sweet but still it's real sweet

[collapse]

Author write this story on third person prespective but we not knowing all character mind/ feel or just know it a bit, idk the quotation mark is kindda confusing too, age changing sometimes 20+ then 20 but suddenly 18 if MC marry at 15 (it age for coming age and marry, they don't specific mentioned in novel when they marriage so it just my hypothesis) then plus 7 neglect by her es husband so she at least in 22 years old.. But if she change it to 20 after it, it still understandable but when later they say she 18? Is it purposeful or not? The ending also rush.. But not that rush, is just like author present all the important things and then leave

Although all of that it's still passable for me so go on and read it <<less

FL justifiably very smart and also decides to swallow losses to pave way for future wins, very realistic honestly which is a breath of fresh air. Wouldve loved a teeeny tiny bit more of romance before it actually got kickstarted but it still was v good.

Quite a decent read

Could have been better in terms of plot development and side character development (there was so much potential)

Plot was a little meh meh after she left the family (which took like more than half the book)

Antagonists were really mindless

Overall quite decent enough to binge

I would like to clarify one plot issue I think I understood differently from some other reviewers; the love ML feels for the MC. I also struggled with his motivation but it was clarified later in the novel.
Spoiler

As I understood it, ML fell in love with the MC as a young student of her's father's. In spite of slight age gap (she was a few years older then him), he tried to marry her by including her into his consort's selection. However, at that time he was attacked by one of over-zelous Crown Prince's maid (obviously trying to ca***ate him). In anger, ML attacked the Crown Prince. The Emperor, engared by the ML's assault on the sickly older brother, decided to punish the ML and banished him from the capital for several years. So ML could not finalize consort selection and during his abscence, MC's father, being gravely ill, married her in haste to the unworthy young man. When ML returns to the capital, MC is a married woman and the matron of another family. In spite of that, he wants her for himself none the less. Close to the end of the novel, ML tells to his father 'the Crown Prince ows me this', meaning his marriage, his first and only choice of a wife.

For me, this is a great motivation and sooooo romantic 🤩🤩🤩

I would give the first arc a 3.5/5 (That 's up to when she leaves the capital I think chapter 100ish)

Once she goes to the other city, things become totally unbelievable. Additionally her behavior towards the family that hides her is really mean. Talking about love, the interac tion with the prince is minial, he suddenly wants to marry her and you dont understand where this came from. So 1.5 for the second arc
