This story is not your typical one. Maybe because I have no experience in very dark romance (if that's the right genre). EVERYTHING in this novel screams TRAUMA and RED FLAG. Every f*cking person in here is rapist (probably except the right hand guy/guard of the ML. I for real needed to keep stopping at my reading and switch to games just to take the edge off on the mental trauma.

Key Character List:

ML=A f*cking rapist. R*ped the FL till I dunno, she liked being f*cked that she fell in love with him in the end because he basically will kill/hurt anyone and FL basically dislike violence so she just fell in love after repeated trauma I guess

FL= a naive mf that borderlined s*upidity. But for me, she's a s*upid sl*t who cant see sh*t in life (basically lacks common sense) so she probably deserves what happened in her life. (An example is when ML basically r*ped her. What does she do? She ask him for a favor. Bro, you really gunna as your rapist for a favor????🤷‍♀️)

2nd ML= rapist. Think the only role he has on this story is being a "brother" to FL then turns to a rapist when he couldn't have her. Oh, aside from being a rapist, he's a cheater too as he has a fiancee. Nothing notable on him. Just obsessed with FL and FL sister when he f*cked her (started to have feelings with sister as she resemble FL a lot and he likes f*cking her body)

FL sister=Amazing sister but a s*upid whore. If she just told FL the truth and to stay away from 2nd ML, a lot of the bad things they got wouldn't happen. Also, gets r*ped by 2nd ML cuz she revealed she knows his feelings and to stay away from her sister. So 2nd ML says, okay. Since you look like her, be my whore. And the cherry on top, she falls in love with him (I think. Because when she finally escaped the 2nd ML's house and wanted Eunha and her to just run away, it was written that she didn't wanna go back to 2nd ML's home as she didn't wanna be toyed anymore by the person she loved. So I'm guessing somewhere along the way of being repeatedly being SA'd, she fell in love (??)

2nd ML fiancee=A good person. She discovered FL sister (dunno if she knows sister was being SA'd but she told FL she'll help them (sister to get out of ML's house) because her plan is to get married to 2nd ML and moved away from fam and 2nd ML is her ticket. She doesn't love him I think.

Another reason not to bother reading this (unless you have great mental strength) is it doesn't have an ending. It just stops after ML 90% killed all those who was trying to kill him (he didn't kill the main villain tho because it's his family and the King's brother). And I think the King is someone who has basically no spine or power so ML killing everyone except his uncle (the villain, next to the King as the King also despise ML) finally gave the King his much needed power (his to lord over the uncle because he now can power play. As it's a rebellion/traitor to harm ML who was a crown prince (or at least and ex crown price but still, a royalty). He went back to the pregnant Eunha and that's the ending loool.

why not make the ML actually blind? It'd be so interesting and different seeing in an historical setting how he'd be treated considering the constrast of his stations in life and now disability, and the whiplash it'd give him. It'd add dimension to him and make his obsession with her and her voice (even though that's also not true) much more riveting. So I was very disappointing when we found out it's a lie.
