In the book, the supporting male lead is the older brother of the female lead. The supporting lead has a cold and desolate personality and is despised by the female lead due to his terminal illness. However, when the female lead acted viciously and was abandoned by everyone, he still protected her, sacrificing everything for her and even dying for her.

Su Ci has transmigrated into the book, becoming a little rabbit raised by the supporting male lead, and she has discovered that her life is tied together with this terminally ill supporting male lead.

After becoming a little rabbit, Su Ci can only sleep on the supporting male lead’s dusty bed every day, eat withered carrots, and guard against the female lead, who occasionally tries to pluck her rabbit fur. To turn back into a human, she needs to find ways to get close to him every day.

The supporting male lead noticed that lately, his pet rabbit always wanted to kiss him. Until one night, he leaned down and kissed this soft little creature, and it unexpectedly transformed into a beautiful little fairy!

The female lead encountered trouble, so she went to look for the supporting male lead, whom she always looked down upon. Unexpectedly, the young man, who was previously poor, down on his luck, and nearing death, had become a scion of a wealthy family in a blink of an eye, and by his side was a girl as beautiful as a fairy.

But what made her jealous was that the always-cold and aloof supporting male lead actually kissed that girl gently in front of everyone!

Absolutely terrible. The FL is one of the worst FL I've ever read about. I rarely review dropped novels but this FL is really something else. Spoilers below.

First off, she is a human turned rabbit, not the other way around so why is she so useless? All the author talks about is her beauty and figure. I don't hate beautiful characters but she's useless, narcissistic, and selfish. Can't the author give her at least one redeeming quality?

Something that turned me off and mads me dropped the whole novel is how... more>> condescending she is when she saves people. Basically, she gets a golden marshmallow that can save the ML's life each time she saves a person who is about to die. The FL's lifespan is tied to the ML so she does benefit from it. Then why are her words and thinking so condescending? She acts as if she's some kind of saint or angel and as if it's that person's honor that she's there to save them.

By chapter 31, there are already three female victims that contemplated su*c*d*. Without understanding the victim's situation, the FL straight up berates them. She told one of the female students that if she wants to d**, find another place to d** quietly. Another example is when the FL complained internally about why the female student had to climb to the rooftop to seek d*ath, there are so many other ways, but now she has to climb all the way up to the rooftop to save her. The lack of empathy is astounding. The FL acts as if the victims owe her a massive favor but the FL also need the reward from saving others to save the ML whoes life is linked with hers. Saving others is equivalent to saving herself as well. It's a win-win situation so it's jarring to see the FL act like she's doing "charitable work" for free.

Lastly, just another small thing that leaves a bad taste is how the FL doesn't seem take the ML's illness into consideration? Like asking him to piggyback her when she knows his muscles sometimes feel weak due to his illness. While others can argue that the FL didn't expect the ML to agree with it, but she can reject it? At least I don't see the FL really showing care for the ML except asking for kisses and telling the ML how lucky he is to meet her.

Anyway, I won't waste my time on this therefore I'm dropping it. It doesn't matter if the FL's character gets better later on. Her initial behavior and thinking is off-putting enough. <<less

this is a cute story between a terminally ill ML who picked up a fluffy bunny FL. the tags and genre are basically spoilers though... there is no tragedy tag, so yes, ML's terminal illness will be cured. bam. bam.

what I like the most here is:

Spoiler
    • rabbit female lead! as an avid bunbun lover, I totally love this trope. where MC is a rabbit and become human (haha). not to mention, FL's human form sometimes have bunbun ears popped out, it's so cute (I like how ML like to play with FL's bunny ears too hehe). FL also have her period in heat and got false pregnancies lmfaoo. I'm very biased with rabbits hence my rating uuh.
    • proactive female lead! Instead of having the usual male lead falling at first sight and chasing wife, we got a female lead who know that she want ML and pursue him like a bulldozer! ehem, not that much, but you got my point!
    • struggling FL! (help) Our FL is basically very pretty and she is very proud of herself. She thought she can seduce ML with her human body since she need to kiss him to keep her human form but no, ML isn't getting tempted at all! He even said that the rabbit is prettier than her (lmfaoo). I like seeing our FL struggled and getting humbled slightly, but anyway both of them are reall cute. ML gradually fell for FL and I love the progress.
    • No misunderstanding! FL literally gave no chance to misunderstandings. Even when there's system's restriction which made her unable to say things related to her power, she never hide her power and let him know the truth without her saying it. Even if they have conflicts, it got solved quickly.
[collapse]

ML's background is very tragic. It's amazing how he keep his kindness despite becoming emotionless and numb, if it was me I'll probably burn the og!FL's house down.

about ML and og!FL:

Spoiler

ML didn't like og!FL. ML even blantantly told FL later in the story to not get close with og!FL because she's bad. About the situation in his first life, even if it's not og!FL, he'll still save them if he saw someone in trouble. It's just that saving og!FL ended up costing his life somehow. ML also thought he didn't have much to live anyway, so... sob.

[collapse]

about og!FL and og!ML:

Spoiler

I love this part tbh, og!FL is a frustrating wishy-washy shoujo heroine who blush at the sight of handsome men. I think rather than calling her deep evil, she is just too dumb and narrow minded.

og!ML is an arrogant second generation rich heir but willing to throw everything for og!FL (he even cut off ties with his family for her), but then due to money that keep depleting, og!ML and og!FL need to work.

That was when og!ML realized he was nothing without his family background, not to mention because he's an underachiever, it was hard for him to get a job. He work around with difficulty but caught the sight of og!FL dropped off by another handsome man after a date.

The situation worsen and og!ML finally decided to end things with og!FL family. After that his grandma pick him up, like, "Do you see why I keep saying no for you to be together with her?"

In the end, og!ML become a better person with this experience.

[collapse]

in my opinion, there isn't probably any strong rival for both of them. og!FL have og!ML so she didn't really eye our ML until her relationship with og!ML worsen (it's a few chapters before the ending probably).

Spoiler

For ML there are probably two rivals, but they quickly went offline. The first one is okay, but the second one... I feel having him fell for FL is unnecessary. I just hope the best for their next love.

[collapse]

despite what I said above, this story isn't perfect and there are negative aspects too. for example, FL's personality may tick you off at the beginning, some might call her ungrateful considering ML's expenses, but thankfully she didn't stay with ML for long and returned back with her family quickly.

Spoiler

Everytime FL save someone, she'll get a golden marshmallow which she could give ML to slowly cure his disease.

FL said she wasn't kind or just saving others for ML, but honestly, I think she did genuinely save some (especially the first one because she didn't even know the existence of golden marshmallow used to cure ML at the time).

In the later chapters though, when she met her fan who send a dying message to her account, she started to genuinely want to help people and not just because of ML.

[collapse]

I find her become more compromising later though, as if ML's personality rubbed on her whileas her shamelessness (of seducing ML) also got rubbed into ML.

It's a cute read. Although the FL's personality is spoiled, she's not that bad. The person below said she lacks empathy, but I think she just personally hates people not valuing their lives.

She died because of her heart disease so she's got the POV that people should be grateful for being alive.

Edit: There's a lot of brainless praising of the FL, dislike of tanned/dark skin, and subtle fat shaming mentioned in this novel. YK, typical Chinese novel elements.
Spoiler

For example

1. When they had a military training, the ML had tanned skin and the FL was like, "I won't dislike you", like girl what???

2. There's this obese little boy that she had to save and I know that being fat is indeed bad for the health, but the way it was said was so questionable?? Idk, it seems like it makes sense, but I can feel they're just against fat people when she's lecturing the child.

[collapse]

As for her having lack of empathy, Idk, but I think what she said to the other girl makes sense.

Spoiler

There's this girl that wanted to commit s*icide by walking to the streets while it's red light. The FL scolded the girl by saying if she wants to d*e, don't drag others into it, cause the innocent driver would have his life ruined because of the other girls' selfishness.

Personally, I agree with the FL with that because it's not right to ruin someone else's life just because you wanted to d*e. FL could've worded it nicely, but I think that girl needs a harsh slap to reality at that moment.

[collapse]

Edit: About the people she saved.
Spoiler

The girls who she scolded before became her friends in the end, they even became the Godmother of her children.

Personally, I think the FL just have a really spoiled personality, but she learns at the end. She's the type of person who's harsh on her words, but really does care.
At first, she really just wanna save them for the reward, but at the end, she learns of how much of an impact she can make and set up a foundation that takes care of victims of bullying.
This seems to be just a way to glorify the FL, but I really like that she saved a lot of people and she took initiative to make change and sincerely wanted to help people after she realized how much power and influence she had to people.
[collapse]

As for the oriFL, she's s*upidly criminal.

Spoiler

I felt that she's just the typical narcissistic brainless character, but when she threw away the medicine of another character and caused her to almost die, it's foul.

She can be petty all she wants, but dayum, she intentionally threw away a medicine. All schemes aside, I could tolerate it, but when it comes to messing with other people's lifeline (medicine), it's just another level of lowliness for me, I can't stand it.

Characters don’t have to likeable, or perfect, but in the end, I can’t continue the novel because of our MC. In any other novel, she would be the villain readers would complain was one-dimensional and annoying.

My problems with her isn’t that she’s useless at everything, or that she’s an as*hole with no empathy, or even that she’s a narcissist. Which she is. She’s all of that. I draw the line at also being a hypocrite. She’s cruel to people for no reason, and often criticises the original FL of the... more>> novel for taking advantage of her rebirth for selfish reasons, even though she’s doing the exact same thing. She sneers at people who aren’t naturally talented in anything or good at studying, but she herself can’t even WALK.

The ML deserves way better than her, and honestly, I don’t understand why her cruel, pompous and narcissistic personality makes him smile. My guy, that is desperation speaking. <<less

A sweet pure love novel that makes me want to turn my brain off & just enjoy the dog food.

The FL starts as an unsympathetic & rather cold-hearted character who's been disillusioned by the hard life she lived before, where her family went bankrupt & she died in the middle of an apathetic crowd after long suffering from her chronic heart condition. She truly changes for the better because of the forced mission to save the ML's life, and therefore also her own life that's tied to his, by helping... more>> others live longer. Whereas ML was always a selfless good man ready to exchange his short lifespan to save others, even pieces of sht humans like his adopted sister og FL, MC only started to save people for more selfish reasons. She learns to love helping others & finds a new purpose for her life after spending so much time saving people with the ML. She's a very human character because in real life, many millionaires would also do charity for the praise & gratitude & good name that comes with donating to those in need. It doesn't make their good deeds turn evil, and ultimately MC has done a ton of good for their world, the best of which was saving genuine cinnamon roll ML.

4/5 but the current rating is too low <<less

love the novel, both MC and ML is super sweet together!

However there is some major plot holes, such as why did the Original Su ci fall off a ship and who harm her and why is MC able to turn into a rabbit when her family is completely human 100%?

the novel doesn't explain why MC was a rabbit nor does her family know.

the extra chapters was okay.

Honestly, in my opinion, it started off good then quickly went bad.

She never becomes a rabbit again after the ML quickly found out that she could become human. At most, her ears stick out every now and then to cause drama.

The MC is confident and narcissistic. She won't take a no for an answer and will always get her way regardless of what anyone else says. Also pretty honest about her opinions of not wanting to put in the effort to save some people if she didn't get something out... more>> of it.

Spoiler

She gets a golden marshmallow each time she saves a person, that helps with curing the ML of his illness and upgrading her system.

[collapse]

ML is the typical cold outside but sweet inside to only those he loves.

The original FL and original ML don't show up much except to be shown as flawed. With mostly the original FL doing bad things after being reborn.

It is kind of just a repeat of MC saving people and teasing the ML every chance she gets.

Spoiler

However, I am not okay with her idea of calling a child fat and that no one would like him if he is fat over and over again.

This child is still in kindergarten and she is fat shaming him as "justice" to get back for bullying another child with a prosthetic leg. But continues to do so even after the child stopped and instead becomes good friends with the child, he once bullied.

I am not sure why she thinks it is okay to bully a child and shame him for being fat rather than encouraging the child to lose weight for his health. The threats of not having any friends for being fat is disgusting and toxic.

[collapse]

Overall, nothing special but a bit toxic when it comes to beauty. With some mix of good mindsets when saving people like to never waste your life over someone else, it isn't worth it.

Though I also feel like the beginning could be considered dubious consent from ML as MC just pushed herself onto him... <<less

I know some people didn't like the FL for being how she was, but that's exactly what I liked about her. I mean even I would not necessarily go around saving people but if I ever did, I should feel damn proud about it.

Spoiler

In the saving those girls from committing su*cides scenes, I feel like she did good by applying reverse psychology to let them see reason, cuz its said that if you are ever attacked by someone for no reason, its better to tell them all the information about yourself to backtrack their initial intention, same way the MC also did that to those girls. I mean, if one wants to die even after seeing reason, there's no way anyone can stop them. One can only lead the horse to the water but can't force it to drink.

[collapse]

And even the MC being squeamish, narssistic and delicate about everything doesn't feel too bad. Overly saintly MCs are too fictional, boring and fake.

People in the comments didn't like that the MC was condescending while saving people for selfish reasons. From what I see, anyone in her shoes and circumstances would do the same. Exchanging good karma for her own life that's tied to the ML doesn't sound bad at all, its like two birds with one stone. And she can be condescending about those su*cide squads all she wants cuz the reasons for their actions were equally extreme without even trying to resolve it in another way.

In the comments here I can see that many people are very put off by the fact that she has no empathy but she had already said in the start, that she is no saint. You can't expect someone to be that way when you yourself can't empathise with the MC and why she did what she did. I bet they are not even as helpful as the MC IRL.

We can see that the author has tried very hard to keep the MC very realistic even with the genre she's working with. And I appreciate it a lot. <<less

This is an enjoyable romance about a transmigrated, vain but decisive girl who is trying to regain her human form and extend her life expectancy, which is now tied to the cold, terminally ill boy who took her in.

As other reviews have pointed out, Su Ci, our female lead, is not your typical likable protagonist. However, she has her redeeming qualities and experiences character growth, becoming a better person by the end of the novel. I wouldn't describe her as particularly cruel; the best way to characterize her is as... more>> privileged, self-centered, and judgmental. She's not intentionally cruel or hurtful, but she tends to disregard the feelings of people she deems irrelevant as long as she can achieve her goals. This behavior is understandable given her background. She lacks empathy because no one ever cared for or supported her. Why should she care about others when no one cared about her?

Spoiler

In her past life, FL was born with a heart condition. Despite living a comfortable life, she lacked emotional support from her family. After her family went bankrupt and her parents passed away, she struggled to maintain her lifestyle and became an actress—primarily admired for her beauty but lacking real talent. During a shoot, she suffered a heart attack and died slowly, with others around her indifferent to her suffering. She then wakes up in the body of a baby bunny in a box, picked up by the male lead. Happy for a second chance at life, she's determined to extend it—especially since her survival is now tied to his. Initially, when she learns that saving others can help extend their lives, she treats them as mere tools. But the first person she saves is a disabled boy who calls her pretty, despite the danger of stepping in front of a car to protect him. She does this without knowing it will benefit her in any way. Just because she liked the little boy and wanted to save him. Would you risk your life for someone else? I'm not sure I could, at least not with that level of decisiveness. Many of the people she saves are on the brink of su*cide, and her approach to helping them isn't exactly gentle. In her eyes, she wants to live desperately, while these people are throwing their lives away! She finds this unbearable. Still, though she's not eager to empathize, she does help them confront their issues. For example, she scolds a woman being blackmailed by her boss and, with the help of the male lead, helps the woman gather evidence to imprison him. Another time, she tells a girl, rejected and mocked at school for pursuing the Ori!ML, that she's acting foolishly and scares her with a morbid description of what will happen if she jumps from the roof. The girl doesn't want an ugly death and ultimately listens. These moments show that FL isn't entirely devoid of kindness, though her selfishness and harshness are understandable, especially given her circumstances. As the story progresses, she becomes more empathetic and does things simply to help people.

[collapse]

That said, FL does have some principles and avoids harming others, so I don't find her too annoying. She's clearly a flawed character, but I wanted to share my perspective. She's far from kind or politically correct, but I wouldn't label her as intentionally cruel, nor is she a petty person who ab*ses or tortures others. She's simply unapologetically selfish and vain. Additionally, the "beauty halo" surrounding her is quite exaggerated—she's portrayed as perfect, gorgeous, and peerless, and she believes her beauty is her best quality. Many of her privileges and actions are justified by the fact that she's simply beautiful enough to get away with them.

So why did I enjoy this novel? FL isn't a weak woman, which is a rarity in Chinese novels. She's confident in knowing what she wants, pursues it, and takes responsibility for her actions. Though vain, she's not shallow, and she's sincere in her interactions with others. She's playful, proud, and decisive. She's aware of her flaws and doesn't shy away from criticism. Even when she falls in love with the male lead, she doesn't undergo a personality overhaul or take a submissive role. He's her ideal man, she wants him, she pursues him. When she's "obedient, " it doesn't feel like she's giving in—she simply refuses to be forced into doing anything she doesn't want to. To me, that's her charm. I'm tired of weak-willed, love-struck protagonists.

Spoiler

In the last part, she goes back in time to the past/another reality where she can't cure the ML and his condition is more advanced. She still likes him, took care of him and stayed by his side until he died, even though he had lost his good appearance, his strength and autonomy. It was her choice and she was willing to like him to the end

[collapse]

The male lead is a good person with low self-esteem. While he fits the typical male lead mold (handsome, cold, talented, smart, and intimidating), he's also incredibly considerate, hard-working and thoughtful.
Spoiler

For instance, he worries about affecting FL's future or holding her back due to his illness, and he takes precautions regarding having children to avoid passing his condition on. He also refuses to search for his biological parents, fearing that finding them would cause them pain because of his impending death.

[collapse]
He isn't captivated by FL's beauty or charms; instead, he slowly falls for her and genuinely desires her happiness. Their relationship is wholesome, with no misunderstandings or manipulation. FL is open about everything, including her special abilities and her plan to cure him. He supports her, encourages her to prioritize her safety, and insists that she shouldn't have to face everything alone.

This is a wholesome romance with flawed and unique characters. While the worldbuilding and plot aren't particularly remarkable—there are even some major plot holes and plot armor—the dynamics of their relationship are what I loved. They are true partners, on the same page, with no need for power struggles or conflicts between them, which I really appreciate. The novel itself isn't a masterpiece but the protagonists and the romance is unique and enjoyable enough. <<less

I MTL the novel, but this is a great fluffy novel to pass time, I would highly recommend if you hate tragedy or need and pick-me-up novel.

The MC and ML are a great couple!!! ML has more of a reclusive personality when it comes to emotions due to insecurities related to his illness. The MC has a, rich chick - I will get what I want and know how to get it personality, but her moral compass is still relatively good and logical. MC personality is perfect for connecting with... more>> ML and making him open up and fall in love with her.

It's nice that the novel also has extra chapters

3.5 rounded up. Cliche premise, setup, scenes, but actually a great romance. It doesn't feel 2d at all despite the ridiculous cliche moments. It's a very full book with dialogue and detailed scenes. The book felt long in a good way until after 100 where it does begin to feel rushed.

This book definitely had cliche beauty standards, system, kiss plot progression etc but it's really carried strongly by how well written the main leads are. They are not perfect people but they have a strong personality to them, especially the... more>> female lead. Although the personality is cliche on paper, it's well executed in the sense they feel real, they have detailed scenes, and are fleshed out. I think if you can look over the extremely cliche premise, ridiculous moments which were about 3 specific ones for me (her mom, the entertainment stuff, and something else I forgot), and you truly want a romance that you can feel when you read it with lots of unique kissing that doesn't actually get boring then you should read this. It's definitely a guilty pleasure for me. I definitely see the faults in this novel, but for the good romance, I can ignore it personally. <<less

And yeah our MC is really beautiful hahahah and narcissistic. She's open and straightforward. She can be kind and slap those bad people. Protective and possessive for her Man Lu Zhe. ML is gentle huhu such a green forest, always thinking about MC wellbeing.
