Ml... he's not the worst. Typical regretful, full of guilt ML then later turned dark. Very possessive. I can't forgive him though... for treating the MC harshly cuz of the misunderstanding... It's not justifiable. Looking back, the MC did his best to protect ML's mother, make the ML the emperor, and just give him the best. Even if ML doesn't want to be emperor, so what? MC doesn't want to be the villain but he has to act like one. Everyone has to act a role they don't want in the first place. That's reality. That's how the world works. Still, ML is better off than MC who has to carry the burden of being a hated villain, without his brother knowing anything. At least the ML has his mother... but the MC is alone... he can't trust anyone, even the ML, like duh, who can trust someone who tortured and r*ped them? The ML's such a dumb s*upid bastard. Like, you're the emperor duh, you have so much power to protect yourself and others now, what are you so angry and grumpy about? I can't like him at all but I can't hate him as well because he truly loves to MC to the point of wanting to die for MC + chasing the MC arc is delicious. Yum.

OH, ANOTHER rare thing about the ML is that, he actually has a mother--Lol don't get me wrong, usually we all know "mothers" of "MLS", especially a prince and an illegitimate child, often gets killed at the start or before the story even starts. But this one, his mother actually survived (because of mc). The mother is also very kind and sweet! And the ML also loves his mother very much, that's why he got rlly mad when he thought MC killed his mother... but still--A filial ml, finally! (That doesn't lessen his yandereness or possessiveness though... He would still turn dark later on.

Xu Chunmu (side gong) thought that Chu Xie (mc) loves him just because the MC has to ensure he stayed alive in order to return to his world because the og Chu Xie was occupying MC's body in the original world and og Chu Xie has a demand that he'll only give up MC's body and keep MC's sister alive if he keeps Xu Chunmu alive. Now the whole misunderstanding excalates as MC tries his best to be with Xu Chunmu to ensure his safety, doing everything, even sacrificing his own safety, just to keep him alive. Who wouldn't think this is out of love? The MC ofc denied being in love when confronted by Xu Chunmu and the ML, but Xu Chunmu only thought that the MC is shy and stubborn. Of course, the ml, thought so as well. Dumb ML made it so hard for MC to protect og Chu Xie's brother that MC is going crazy. MC doesn't trust ML as well, so he doesn't tell ML that Xu Chunmu was his brother. Thus, the "You hate me but I love you, let's suffer together" arc begins. ML be really torturing MC in bed. I feel sorry for MC cuz he's already so sick and yet the ML still r*pes him in the name of "love".

Jiang Yanchi keeps being r*pey and pushy even after everything, as I said, his promises mean nothing, when his actions triggered Chu Xie's r*pe trauma that he himself caused, he continued instead of stopping, he began to act pushy and try to convince Chu Xie to do it with him to overcome the memory instead of respecting that Chu Xie obvoiusly woulndt want to do it with the man who r*ped him multiple times.
