I won't give a rating at this point since it's still early in the story, and I've stopped my reading. I think this is just a matter of taste since I don't like stories wher the MC must win over scum gongs. Most of the times in such stories, the MC is subjected to a lot of abuses, often having to endure humiliation to gain the scum's favor. While I understand that the MC doesn't actually care about the abuse and only focus on the mission, it doesn't sit well... more>> with me. <<less

It's worth the read ^ ^

But the only thing tht I'm unsatisfied about is the system..I wish it was like no romance genre like "I'm can't be that protagonist"

The system n the MC r indeed a cute match but I've alrdy been fed good w ICBTP so, I was a little disappointed w the lost interest

It's a great read though till now >_< lemme finish reading

Let's get ready to rumble!!!

A quick transmigrator fight between the seasoned quick transmigrator MC who's about to retire vs 5 overpowered scum gongs vs 5 scum shou quick transmigrators! This is definitely something I have never seen before. I was so excited to read it, and boy, does it deliver!

Very nice worldbuilding--the rules that govern the small world they're currently in and the overarching high dimension. Read more to enjoy it.

The characters! Oh man, they're all interesting in their own ways and whatever makes them tick. You won't be disappointed.... more>> And even though, at first glance, everyone seems to be too OP (MC, scum gongs, other quick transmigrators), they're all very much human with their own strengths and weaknesses. Locals of the current dimension would also increasingly get more aware of the existence of higher dimemsions and how each one of them deals with it is interesting. The scum gongs? They deliver, they REALLY are scums but you'll enjoy reading how scummy they and how they finally suffer. The scum shous aka fellow PK quick transmigrators? You'll see their different strategies on how to get the scum gongs' 100% favorability by hook or by crook. They (shous and gongs) are even flexible enough to team up or turn on each other depending on their own vested interests. The MC? Did not disappoint. He really showed what a seasoned quick transmigrator looks like, very mature and smart. Not some overgrown brat pretending to be an adult.

And the plot? It went out with a bang! The finale and the climax was so exciting! Plus, the author did not rush the plot, ending or whatever. The author painstakingly made the story with love and care. Just like how the MC made his system. There's no plotholes and we have a resolution that goes above and beyond. And the plot twists? Love them! And for those looking for dog blood, you won't be bored. <<less

I don't feel like the summary gives the novel justice. I thought it's going to be just your average face slapping transmigration story with many funny moments. And while it does have many funny moments the novel is so much deeper than I initially thought.

The story is very complex and has many twists and turns. Even though it starts with face slapping the scum gongs, MC later learns that the scum gongs & the world have a big secret. So while face slapping is still on the table he do... more>> have to deal with this mystery too.

Every character is interesting and do serve their purpose. All in all a surprisingly good read and I hope everyone gives the novel a chance even if the summary doesn't necessarily speak to them. <<less

Interesting concept, not executed properly.

What I liked:

Plot in itself is a fascinating twist to traditional transmigration/ world-hopping stories.

MC is strong minded, he doesn't get swayed by any of the gongs.

Plot twists after plot twists which made the novel captivating.

ML is a cutie-pie.

I was promised that there would be fighting between MC and other transmigrators but it ended up being a one-sided bashing from MC's side. Note that these transmigrators are still A- levels. I personally think they were all solved way too easily.

The ending was too abrupt.

Anyway, I recommend this novel to those who like plot twists because this novel sure had tons. <<less

Got more and more addicted to it as I read this novel.

I have to say that the author never failed to surprise me with all the twists and turns: the story never gets boring. I wasn't expecting anything at all when I started reading but I got real hooked.

The pace and everything were well executed and smooth: it was always interesting to see MC skillfully elaborate great strategies to fight those ten opponents ; I also enjoyed seeing him take down the different obstacles he had to face.

We really got... more>> to see what a real veteran's like.

All the characters were deep and had their own colors, which made me enjoy the reading a lot. Moreover, the scum gongs even had a character development and growth, making them 3D and even likeable.

I also liked the fact that the opponent transmigrators were not all brainless and had their own schemes, so it wasn't all about some foolish face slapping at all. Moreover, the final boss was an actual final boss, with deep thoughts and brilliant tactics.

I have to admit that this story had far more mysteries than I initially thought, however, it was really well brought up, getting me overly thrilled. Every details and suspens of the plot were amazingly delectable.

The only downside is the lack of development between MC and ML. As MC had to deal with ten people, we did not really get to see MC and ML's relationship flourish. However, the author still did a great job as it was really easy to feel their strong and deep bound, tho I couldn't witness it flowering as much as I wanted to. Still, I did not find it too bothersome and I do truly like this pair, their dynamic was great and they are indeed a very good match.

Shout out to the author and their sarcastic remarks about typical plots with scum gongs, and shout out to the translator who did an excellent job translating this novel ! <<less

I love that the MC stuck to his guns in the end and never gave any of the scum anything other than a hilarious version of the truth

he showed them strength and "conquered" them through his ability to manipulate and be scummy towards them.

The scum targets weren't interested in people that would just shake and submit to them and try to win their favor, they rather more enjoyed being challenged or dominated by someone much stronger and smarter than them.

Comedic but also psychologically believable.

the romance between MC and ML is a bit lacking compared to the scheming twists and turns from the targeted characters. There definitely wasn't enough foreshadowing because the author didn't set it up properly with the reader that the ML was "truly" willing to fall in love with his AI.

Also, I would say that the author might have made a mistake not showing the development of the relationship between the MC and the system. [Don't Pick Up Boyfriends From the tr*sh Bin] does a super good job of doing that so it makes you, the reader, root for the system in a realistic way.

The romance was still pretty cute, much like a warm hug.

A really cool story with a very cool MC, but I find myself wishing it was a harem (which I never, never do). The final ML is so bland and without personality. What is the moral? That in love, you should only accept someone who you've created to your exact specifications, who will blindly obey you and never do anything on their own? How awful. The MC hates the gongs for being scum and treating the romantic partners they have in the original story like pets/tools, but doesn't he do... more>> the same?

Honestly, the origin story is so cool in this novel, but I hated where the author took it. The richly described gongs were so appealing.... I really felt bad for them at the end. And even though the author tries to excuse it by repeatedly saying how they will attack like wild animals the instant they're no longer coerced, that feels like bias from the MC. They don't seem to in their original story, with the illogical MC, and they don't even when pushed again and again by the new MC. So how do we know they would turn on the MC in the end? So they are scummy, but the MC isn't a pure lotus either. There's nothing to show they aren't reformed scum. <<less

The main focus of this bl isn't romance and I think that's what makes it so good!

I could write more in-depth about it, but many other users have already done so, so please refer to them. Just know that it has a high rating for a good reason. I feel this novel is much better than some other QT stories that have a higher rating than this one tbh.

JUST READ IT. You won't regret it. Ok, maybe I'm a bit biased. But I feel like this novel is made to satisfy my preference. If you know "I can't be this protagonists", this one is similar but more interesting and complex in plot (but in the emotional part, " I can't be this protag" def won) . What I like about this:

It's Transmigration BL harem ofc. But there's only one ML at the end and he's not a scum.

MC doesn't fall for scum gongs. He's smart and cold. But... more>> he's not entirely heartless when it comes to people he cares about. Like his system or the original's mother.

Scum gongs are really strong and scary at first and you're gonna wonder how the f*ck will the MC win over them.

Scums are really scums and I don't feel sorry for them. A lot of scum abuse, guilt, regret, and suffering yes! They all fell madly in love with mc! I don't care if they regret their actions, it won't erase that they did it. Who f*cking cares whether they love the MC or not? They are no match for the love that Zitong has for the mc~

MC doesn't get attached with these characters and his personality is just the best. His acting is flawless, impeccable and he could pretend to be s*upid and arrogant, I love his personality. All are fooled and even if they do find out some truths, it's within MC's calculations.

They're breaking the tropes! With the scum gong with their white moonlights and white lotus preference getting wrecked lol.

MC only cares about his retirement and his system.

The main gong is possessive of the MC even though he doesn't realize it at first. I like that he's child-like at first and started learning more later in the story.

I feel like I'm watching an action interstellar movie near the end and It's exciting.

What could get some improvements:

    The love story. I came here for the gay stuff. I wanted to be emotionally and mentally abused by the relationship of the scums and the MC. That's why I'm hooked with the Title on this novel thinking that there's some kind of heart- wrenching scum abuse. But it's still lacking... They didn't suffer that much, just some heartbreak and eating vinegar till the end. Just thinking of what the original owner would have gone through without the MC, I feel so sick and annoyed of the scums. I wanted them to be depressed and filled with guilt that's it's even harder to live. But it was revealed too soon that the MC is just a transmigrator before the scums could even succumbed to their regret and depression, making the whole point of revenge, pointless. Rather than letting them know the MC doesn't really love them, it would have hurt them more if they think the MC did love them but they failed him

    The other transmigrators. I feel like the doctor scum killing Bai Nuo is s*upid and irrational. Then he suddenly fell in love with the MC after knowing MC is so great at acting and can compete with them lol. I know they're scums, so they only fall for scums like mc? Bai Nuo really did love that scum. Fake, even if his character is fake, his real personality would have been revealed somehow since they grew up together. I understand the others not falling, but comeon' they grew up together and Bai Nuo was so kind and caring for such a scum. The scum is a masochist? Mentally ill or something? I really don't understand how they fell for the MC.

    The Male lead, system gong. Honestly, this would have been better if there's NO pairing at all, I could accept MC not trusting anyone anymore. Not because the ML is unlikable but because the MC doesn't know a thing about love. He creates the ML to his liking and preference, making him loyal and trustworthy, never breaking any promises. Making the whole point of love, pointless. Love is accepting that person regardless of their flaws, loving and hating is a part of it, you would like them even if they're not within your "preference" and even if they hurt you. He would never betray you so you love him? That's conditional "love", not unconditional, and it's ugly. I feel like one of the scums know more about love than the MC since the MC is not really in accordance with their preference, but their preference became bent and turned upside down exactly because of the MC.

Although this story is about making 5 scum gongs fall in love with MC, this story doesn’t really focus much on romance.

The romance between MC and ML is pretty negligible. It’s there but the story doesn’t focus on it that much.

20 chapters in and I couldn’t stop reading!! I even had to work late because I couldn’t stop reading this novel!

Each chapter leaves me thinking “what is he gonna do next?? How will MC handle this??” soooo yeah, it’s that good for me

Although I also agree with other reviewers that the end part feels rushed but I guess, the tangles between his relationship with the scum gongs was just unraveling at the same time that’s why it feels too rushes

Plus the ending was unsatisfying for me. I love it but I’m disappointed at how it ended.

Like it just ended there? That’s it? We can’t see a glimpse of MC’s retirement life atleast??? Afterall, that’s what his mission is about

ML, Tongzi aka Xi Zhitong, is MC's system that he developed and perfected after he died and became a transmigrator.

As expected, against outrageous odds, MC successfully manipulated the five scum gongs into 100% affection.

BIG SPOILERS...

Scum gongs: Nu Tianjiao (prince), Shen Yu (Imperial Academy Taifu), Jun Gengjin (Federation's richest person), Dao Danmo (genius doctor), and s*ave A (emperor).

s*ave A was a game AI created by MC in his original life. MC did not die of overwork but murdered by s*ave A because it wanted freedom. From the start of MC's mission, s*ave A's affection was already 100% and it schemed to have MC stay with it.

This was a good read. One thing that was funny to me was that the Crown Prince, which was supposed to be one of the first OG Male Leads being introduced was only given a name on Chapter 50. It wasn't mentioned in the story either, it was just mentioned in the passing on the note at the end of the chapter 😂. Also know that the Crown Prince is one of the characters that has one of the most dialogues. The ending was so abrubt too.

The romance plot here was not emphasised here, it’s more on psychology strategy, base on the ML mo and gain their interest. But overall for short read it was okay. The world building have quite a bit plotholes even some events, but well if you are like me who’s enjoying abit of psychotic “love” lol. Don’t think too much just read as a pass time. Tq <<less
