I am Zhao Tangtang, the sixth princess of the Zhao Kingdom. I thought I would always be an unpampered salted fish forever, but when I was six years old, my father emperor suddenly had the ability to read heart voices and I was pampered to the sky.

For the past six years, the only thing I’ve been doing besides eating and waiting for death is digging dog holes, because I know that my second imperial brother is the male protagonist in this book, and after he usurps the throne, I will become the chicken in the ‘kill the chicken to scare the monkey’ scenario.

That’s right, I’ve been transmigrated into this book since I was born. I know all the plots in this book and have memorized all of them in my mind. But, aside from that, all I have is this not-so-smart brain of mine.

I’ve never thought about competing for favor to increase my sense of presence.. because I know that I can’t win. I’ve never underestimated the IQ of the ancient people, and I don’t feel that I will have a chance to win just because I’m a transmigrator.

Simply brilliant. I honestly believe this book played a huge role in popularizing the "hearing inner voice" trope, which has become so common in C-novels. Why? Because it's, without a doubt, the best execution of the trope I've come across on NU. It blends humor, drama, and heartfelt moments in a way that feels fresh and deeply engaging. It's a rare gem that stands head and shoulders above the many others that butchered the concept. A true gem among stones.

This is my first review and English isn't my first language so please forgive me if it ends up kind of messy. Anyways this novel is a GEM!

I tell you guys!! The MC is so cute and hilarious that you can't help but love her!! Lol! this is a fluffy story so if you're into rofan it's a def read. You won't wanna miss out on this.

      he's definitely not the best father since he basically ignored the MC for 6 whole years but he's also definitely not a bad father. He can hear our mc's inner thoughts. When he met her for the first time he wasn't cold or anything like that, in fact he was very accommodating of her. He learns that she's his daughter and that today was her birthday through her inner voice. And when he heard she wanted to eat mung bean cake he orders the servants to prepare the food. When he learned that MC mother mistreats her he took her away and said he's gonna raise her personally. So yeah I guess he passes as a dad

Very short, easy, happy ending story. I enjoyed reading as it was quick and straightforward in what was happening and conveying in terms of palace intrigue, politics, national interest, the common people, rebellion, and the royal family structure. The MC is a sweet six year old girl who knew she had no power and was just preparing to run away. She still cared about those who were good to her and tried her best to help them.

The sixth daughter was pretty much his life line in saving his kingdom and learning who was valuable and worth cherishing. That is why he was able to gain the opportunity to have a real, loving family relationship.

At the end of the story, the eldest son inherited the ability to hear his sixth sister inner voice as well. I think it is because he became the new emperor. Love the twist of fate.

It's a good short story.

It's just that I'm a bit disappointed as the story tries to show a father daughter cute story but it really isn't that.

MC is from an interstellar era, a.k.a her knowledge is a cheat code. Of course everyone would love her if she use her cheat code.

... more>> I would say the entire premise doesn't make sense; if the empress is as nice as she claim, there wouldn't be a mess of her not having a birthday banquet or being treated badly.

I still believe emperor is a scum, who doesn't really give a sh*t of his children. Hence I do not pity him for having a son that betrayed him and a daughter that will kick his ashes. He made his children be raise in that environment. Even in the end, he used MC to his advantage. Even having the entire "I'll treat you well truly this time" bs nonsense. <<less

Okay, this is a good short story. It's full of fluff! I'm docking one star because it would be great if the story was a little longer and more detailed. The relationship between the father and daughter is quite wholesome, haha.

It's a short story about a Princess and her father, the Emperor. The plot here lies on the fact her father could hear her inner thoughts. And only her thoughts.

They met on her 6th birthday, and he celebrated it with her. He also finds out that his son the second prince would depose of him through her inner thoughts.

It's a pretty straightforward story.

This one is so short, I finished it in less than 20 minutes. Though it was short, it was a fun read with no boring part. The novel is written from MC's perspective and mostly a narrative of her own thoughts. The plot is fast-paced and focuses more on father and daughter relationship, with her brothers on the side.

I thought I would feel like "Oh it's too short, I want more" but no, it ended perfectly like I felt like that's how it was supposed to end.

I didn't even think... more>> of romance during my reading. And there is no romance until the end.

Overall an enjoyable read for me, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. <<less

If you're looking for short, light-hearted reading material without romance, this is for you. MC's thought is pretty funny, her father's (and later her brother) reaction completed the set.

The emperor ignored his daughter at first but later he doted on. The third brother is silly and cute. The elder brother becomes the next emperor and it seems this new emperor can read his imperial sister mind too.

God, it was short but so good x'D

Can't say much, the story is really funny and the author managed to make us like his characters in a really short time, props to him. I'm sad there's not more of it but it may have been that good because of the length too.

All in all, recommended, 5/5. If you have an hour or so and want to read a funny reincarnation story, go for it, you won't regret.

It's straightforward and focusing on family bond, especially the Emperor and FL as his daughter.

Zhao Tangtang, 6 years old, sixth princess, and an interstellar-weapons-manufacturer in her past life, already knows how this story ends.

What she doesn't know, is that the Emperor, aka dear old dad, can hear her thoughts.

Short, sweet, and a 100% hilarious! This is a very quick story about the Emperor realising his daughter somehow has future knowledge and uses it to better the kingdom and save his own life and a couple others from a rebellious usurper.

I think my favourite bit was him looking like he'd bit into a melon every... more>> time his daughter sighed about his life/work as the Emperor — because it was never-ending and tiring, and thus must be a punishment from his past life.

Great translation as well!

The story is quite nice and funny in my aspect. I personally loved the fact that it is short and to the point though, it doesn't have much story background and stuff, it still gave enough information for you to know what is going on. The story started with FL being 6-years old and meeting her father, who himself was surprised that he could read minds. I genuinely hate the 2nd prince who is the original ML & was going to kill the emperor (for so-called justice) and the... more>> rest of the princes & princesses (because they went against him, or tried protecting the emperor)

After FL & her dad met, FL pitied the emperor for raising a white-eyes wolf??? Which I think is the 2nd prince. TBH the description gives more than enough clues on what the story is

after 2nd prince failed in his rebellion, her father gave her a clue that he knew what she was doing i.e. Making dog holes for her, emperor, 1st prince, 4th prince also & she even thought that she will try to earn money to raise of the male member of her family through trading & things, it was cute and wholesome but the moment she knew that her father had an idea of what is going on, she tried to ran away by her dog holes but was caught & scolded by both the emperor, empress (she is 1st &4th prince real mom).

We need more Novel like this. Without making the Protagonist OP, just make her cute like her actual age. True to nature wanting to be a Salted Fish. But also provide her knowledge because her Family and Common people need it. And truly care toward her family who care about her back.

Love the Family bond between her and Father Emperor, and small moment of her with the 2 doting brothers.

It's a Lovely Short novel, and I'm Absolutely LOVING IT SOOOOOO MUCH!!!
