Very cute child rearing novel, the family is lovely and loves each other, the palace intrigue in practically zero, doting emperor father. The fact that the family tries to conceal that they can hear her thoughts is super funny, the emperor thinks that he is the only one who coud hear her and it adds to the fun. I really liked it, recommended.

I read akknovel's chapters, then MTL'd the rest of the 234 chapters.

This is a cute, heartwarming, nation-building fluffy novel with a good ending.

A modern soul transmigrates into a doomed baby Princess. Fortunately, she has: 1) A system that lets her unlock knowledge/video/dreaming skills, and 2) Relatives who can hear her inner voice.

... more>> The FL is the ultimate salted fish. She is only a baby, so she amuses herself with watching real-time videos, learning skills, and thinking out loud to herself in her inner voice.

However, while she is talking to herself about imperial secrets, technological skills, recipes, IQ scores, modern knowledge, and real-time crisis situations, the Emperor and her relatives are avidly listening.

Hilariously, they all keep it a secret from her (so she doesn't realize they can all hear her inner voice), and also from the Emperor (so the Emperor thinks he's special and the only one who can hear her thoughts....).

The FL protects her family and country, guides the progress of women and the nation, and even spreads peace across the continent. This is a very peaceful, fluffy novel with interesting story arcs and character redemption/development. It's easy to understand and the novel ends in a timely, happy manner.

Just FYI: There is no romance, the FL is a baby. And there is a minor villain who is partly vilified because he is a gay prince.

This novel does remind me of the very short story, "After Transmigrating into a Book, My Father Emperor Could Hear My Inner Voice", so if you liked that short story, I'd recommend this longer story too.

(Edit: If you're looking for in-depth realistic nation-building and serious character development, please look elsewhere. This is a fluffy novel with a baby girl FL. Most of the work is done by others). <<less

You know what? It's good.

It's not some revolutionary piece of fiction with complex characters, a dutifully crafted world and a plot full of twist and turns that keeps the reader engaged.

It's good, though.

I found myself smiling and laughing, cheering for the characters and wishing their success.

Even Grandpa, despite being a bit dumb, ended up becoming a likeable character.

It's nothing groundbreaking, but it's still something I would gladly read another 100 chapters of.

Surprisingly, I'm kinda sad that this ended at 234 chapters. If this had a male main character, this would've gone for at least 500+ chapters, and I probably would've made it all the way there. I wasn't even exaggerating.

Don't get me wrong; this novel is not groundbreaking or even close to anything like that.

What it has going for it is that it makes the power struggles, nation building, and all those complicated things in ancient times much simpler, which is more fitting for entertainment consumption with a little bit of... more>> spice. I love intricate strategies and literal and psychological warfare, but this kind of novel is just so much better for whenever you want to entertain yourself for five minutes without scrolling aimlessly on social media.

This also has the good kind of misunderstanding trope where the MC's family believed she was a reincarnation of an immortal/a fairy, while the MC just enjoyed the gossip and the good progression of the kingdom without doing anything herself.

What genuinely made me smile and giggle is whenever the Emperor proudly showed off after he listened to his daughter's thoughts, and the Liu family was like, "Oh, this Emperor..." <<less

I can't wait for more chapters! I really like this book, it's definitely a fun read and it's really funny or sweet, I like that there's drama but it's not overpowering and it's more of an undertone than a main topic. You can really see the characters grow, especially the mother and grandmother even in the biggining part of it the book, I'm obviously not far in but I'll update if anything changes throughout the book!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a story that relies on convenient coincidences to ensure happiness and prosperity for the main character. However, it is done in such a hilarious way that I am NEVER going to complain. As the synopsis says, the princess's inner thoughts can be heard by her family members--except she doesn't know that, and her father the emperor believes that he is the only one able to hear the "reincarnated fairy's" thoughts. There are no main antagonists, but expect a satisfying end for the villains. By far, the best... more>> part of this story is the interactions between the main character and her father, who bends his back trying to make sure she doesn't realize he could hear her every thought. The only downside of this story is that... THERE AREN'T ENOUGH CHAPTERS!!! As the other reviewers have said, this novel could have easily gone another 200 chapters, even with the princess staying a toddler the entire time.

No romance (MC is < 1 year old)

Dense main character (but that only makes her funnier)

Social, economic, and political reforms (all part of the princess's plan)

If you still can't decide, just read it! This novel isn't for those expecting too much action but for those looking to laugh every few chapters. <<less

Cute and short series, it was rushed towards the end so I deducted a star but the overall story was good. Little princess is quite cute and she solves a lot of problems for her emperor father haha.

A cute Novel, dramamonster put it pretty nicely that it's a novel that centers around the fact that the MC's family can hear her inner monologue and it just so happens she has ways to spread benefitial modern knowledge to an ancient world. The entire premise is build around it.

Personally i'd love it if they reacted more to her modern way of speaking in a hilarious way, but oh well.

It's not the best novel out there (it's no LOTR), but it's entertaining with likeable characters enough for me to... more>> give it a 5 for "must give it a try". <<less

Not gonna rate this since I didn’t finish it.

If anyone is familiar with fanfiction and knows the term “crack fic” then this is a “crack novel”. Do not expect any common sense from this novel, you will not find it. There are some genuinely funny scenes, but not as many as I would like. And while I am thankful for the translator, this seems more like an MTL with an attempt to clean up. That’s the only way I can explain how people can go from a concubine in one... more>> chapter to empress in another and then back, a grandfather become an uncle, great uncle, and great grandfather depending on the chapter, and people's titles go from lord to sir and everything in between. And while the misgendering is not as pronounced, it’s still there.

it’s not bad as far as plot goes, but like I said earlier it’s a crack-novel, so if you know what that is keep it in mind before reading. <<less

I enjoyed this so much.

Was it realistic? No.

However, it was so cute and so much fun. I only wish it had been longer. I was hoping the princess would grow up in the story, but it ends at her first birthday. That's my only complaint.

I've read lots of transmigration novels, and some are really well-researched and historically accurate, but they aren't always this much fun to read. I was never bored with this story, and that alone makes me give it a 5/5 rating.

All of MC family can hear her thoughts, they thought she was reincarnation of a fairy with all her knowledge and future predictions. The funny thing is that MC small thoughts influence all things due to her maternal family and emperor father are all hard worker lol. They wanted to strengthen the country and an amazing job they did following MC thoughts.

Over 200 chapters are not enough! I'm so used to read ancient theme novel with a thousands chapters that it feels like it's still warming up stage for me when reading this novel 😄. Or maybe this story is just so good that I enjoy every bit of it!

This is not your typical ancient time novel with OP FL with farmer family background or OP concubine rise to power. Every characters is so close to real life where ministers basically employee of the emperor with their own job responsibilities. Their... more>> role in this story make it more grounded and relatable. Also, palace scheme is solved with appropriate measure, they don't easily kill people like any other palace theme novels.

Also, the princess inner thought or comments are so funny, it's enjoyable to read. All in all, I really recommend this novel for those who are so fed up with palace scheme plot or OP FL. <<less

Story is OK just need to turn off ur brain while reading especially towards the end. Author seem like she/he didn't do any research on almost everything in the novel. For example the king want high purity alcohol n the brother invented it like what within a night? No that's not how it works maybe 7 days for the fermentation. But maybe it's me misunderstood something with my shallow knowledge ~ and u only need sewing knowledge to do surgery on arrowhead removal n then suturing the wound 🤦‍♀️ then... more>> there's the travel, they go from capital to the border within maybe a day or less. Same with the maojia village case, they went from the palace to the village as if it's next door *faceslap* there's so many more I forgot as I read but yeah just no logic. And author seems homophobic but dunno ~ n ending seem rush. All those princes n concubine never mentioned anymore towards the ending. <<less

The misunderstandings make things cute. It's a bit repetitive but the MC and her family continue to be hilarious. Especially the emperor. Overall a fun and light read. MC is a baby so it's extra funny. The ending was on point.

10/10 hilarious read, real great fun stuff! This story is, first and foremost, a comedy, anything else takes a backseat, so just seat back, relax, and enjoy this unserious novel if you want a great laugh.

The greatest charm of this novel is how committed it is to its own running gags and how the characters don't let you down with their mental gymnastics.

The only ones who can hear Chuchu's thoughts are her maternal family and her emperor father. They, all on their own, assume that Chuchu's knowledge and system abilities... more>> are thanks to her obviously being a reincarnated fairy or immortal with divine abilities. In the beginning, everyone is so convinced that only a pair of them (Mama Liu and prince brother, as well as Grandma Liu and Granny Liu) can hear her thoughts and act on them as surreptitiously as possible as to not embarrass her. But as her entire maternal family realize the truth, hence starts the long con of convincing the emperor that, oh no, we are not blessed enough by the heavens to have such a divine connection with this obviously not blessed baby! Hence, the emperor believes he shares a precious bond with his precious fairy daughter, the only one who can hear her thoughts, and also hides the fact that he can hear her as to not embarrass her. Thus starts his journey as a devoted girl dad everyone is sick of, lmao. Meanwhile, Chuchu is under the assumption that all of the knowledge she gains and realizations she has are all just somehow manifesting in the real world when she unlocks them.. Not just overheard by her family, of course, oh no!

The emperor himself wasn't actually that bad before. He wasn't corrupt or tyrannical, or even malicious. He just had his head in the clouds, wanting to be enlightened and cultivating Dao, while performing his duties in a mediocre manner. He did his duty in the harem, fathering children, and mostly leaving them to their own devices. The way he hilariously deals with his enlightenment from Chuchu's thoughts make him a dynamic source of comedy as the story progresses, looking more foolish even as he does actually get smarter and become a better person.

However, my favorite characters are all from the Liu family. To be honest, the more you learn about the Liu family, the more confused you get about how in the heavens did they manage to send their daughter into the harem. While Mama Liu is kind and earnest, she is the type to work hard and go beyond in effort in accordance to what she hears from her daughter. Her prince brother is honorable and hard working, noble in heart and kind, too. But the thing is, the Liu family are from a family of farmers. Rough country bumpkins, really. Grandpa Liu had to take the imperial exam several times, and he even grew up working in the fields.

They are poor, too, lmao, renting carriages and even doing all the chores themselves because they don't have servants. At one point, when other ministers attempt to corrupt Grandpa Liu, our Grandpa obliviously and casually says adios because he still has to cook dinner, lmao. Of course, Granny Liu doesn't disappoint, a real go-getter unafraid of randomly harvesting bamboo shoots from other people's bamboo garden to reveal their corruption, a real MVP! Even Uncle Liu is a hidden genius. He just can't help that the imperial test does not test for innovation!

The Liu family are really such a loveable bunch, and watching the rest of the world interact with their 4D personalities is always fun.

I think the only weakness of this novel is that some aspects of political intrigue tend to be abandoned because it's not a narrative priority. For example, Chuchu is the third princess, but we see no hide nor hair of the first or second princess, most of the time you'll even forget that Chuchu is 𝘯𝘰𝘵 the emperor's only daughter. Similarly, the harem struggle just gets dropped somewhere along the way.

All in all, if you read this novel with the right attitude, you're in for a great time. Otherwise, take this novel too seriously and, ah, I suppose I'll just offer you my sympathies for the headache and frustration you'll inevitably get.

Oh, also, the cover above is misleading! The novel ends on Chuchu's first birthday! We never see her as a grown up! <<less

This story is super cute and funny!

The little princess 👶 has a system that lets her dad (the emperor!) hear all her thoughts 🧠✨.

At first, he's this cold and scary ruler 🧊🫅, but because of her, he slowly turns into a soft and protective dad 🥹❤️.

It's a perfect mix of comedy, heartwarming moments, and a little palace drama. You'll laugh, you'll "aww, " and you won't want to stop reading! 😍 I seriously loved this one and now I really want to read more stories like it! 🥰

Gave 4 star because the abrupt ending that left one wanting for more.

This is the perfect novel for someone that have a hectic real life and need escapism. The protagonist always wins and never had a setback since the birth of MC, a baby princess whose a transmigrator, with her knowledge of novel story and a powerful system that accompanied her.

Like she spoonfed ability and solution for her royal family, it felt like she also spoonfed the reader a perfect utopia where one side never lost.

The woman roles and empowerment... more>> in ancient society is the topic that was lifted almost half of the novel.

I really wish that this novel had an extra story when ChuChu grows up, the abrupt ending when she had her 1st birthday made me taken aback.

This story is recommended for those who really like very light read. <<less

Good read but the ending left me completely yearning for more.

All family members could hear MC's inner thoughts. They discover slowly that the other members could hear her too but simultaneously decided to keep it from the MC's father, the emperor. It was hilarious how shameless the emperor is thinking he was the only one who could hear it and pretend to think of the new idea or innovation from MC's thoughts.

MC is kinda slow that she didn't suspect them could hear her thoughts when some parts revealed the family... more>> direct or indirectly utter MC's thoughts of ides or knowledge out loud. <<less

Not a bad brain off read but looses a star immediately cause the ending. Les of an ending more of a story just suddenly stops kinda thing. The MCs powers are never explained at all so just a big ol' case of deus ex machina the novel. Most of the early supporting chats are just forgotten by end author clearly just didn't want to write bout em any more. Over all entire novel feels like yet another case of wasted potential of a story

The novel definitely is too long. Also, the title isn't fully correct as the thoughts will be heard from the entire family and not only from father Emperor. I also disliked that the MC was whole time in baby Form.
