Brain-dead, even by betrayal story standards. Everyone's like wow why is the prince so s*upid, by the way all the people he exiled are important seals against the demon king, and he only turned into a moron after this girl who everyone knows is evil started talking to him.

The person they exiled is not only the saintess who protects them from monsters with barriers, but responsible for half the treaties they have? And the MC is reincarnated but still a whimsical childish moron that apparently let himself be kicked around... more>> his whole childhood by the evil girl.

It's all just such a s*upid scattershot of a story. At least in others there's one crap prince/establishment/place if employment, but other people are smart. But like half the kingdom ruling class has just gone along with this and then been like "woe is us, who will save us from our own s*upidity", but not contacting the people they exiled? How this kingdom ever survived is an impossibility. <<less

This is just bad. MC is still terrible when he decided to willingly exile himself as a hero. I lost my sympathy to him when they did this decision, knowing the fact that he can easily change the kingdom himself. And he had the nerve to be edgy when trying to save the day.

How do I feel any sense of sweet revenge towards the bad guys when the MC is just as bad of a character as them? I do not recommend this novel due to the immature writing.
