I've read this on MTL, and it's pretty good. Usually, CN novels contain quite a bit of drama, especially in the yuri section, but this one isn't all that dramatic. It's an enjoyable and semi-comedic read with hints of drama. There's also an ABO aspect to this novel, but it wasnt tag so I'll just write it here. However, it's not an omegaverse story, just some elements. The MC has a good head on her shoulders and isn't a doormat MC that causes relationship problems cause they don't have self-confidence.... more>> The FL is a cool president type that blends well with the MC. Must recommend, especially if you like family yuri novels. <<less

Not a bad story, not a great story but pretty enjoyable. Especially for a CN novel. Besides some cultural differences, I’d believe you if you told me this was written for western audiences.

Quite cute, very fluffy, not too dramatic.

Give it a go!

Forged by the fire of fanfiction, magic pregnancy trope doesn't faze me at all and the idea of wow couples having their own biological children is always fascinating. Needless to say, I was looking forward to read the story. Unfortunately, it's so, so disappointing. I had to skip/fast read some points just to finish it since I was already more than halfway through and just wanted to finish it. Plot wise, there's not much going on. Just them meeting up after their one night stand and getting together and having... more>> the kid.

The novel is rife with red flags and if you can ignore them, probably you'd be enjoy it a lot more. Mostly the flags are flying from Shan Yi. So much of her personalities have toxic straight man vibes.

It's not sweet when your partner would joke about hurting you if you ever decide to break up or leave. She's also pretty condescending to Shen Tiantian.

It's surprising that Shan Yi supposedly has so many admirers considering what a jerk she is. But I suppose being beautiful and semi-competent at work (semi-competent because of how biased she is when it comes to her girlfriend at work later on) give her a lot of pass and Shen Tiantian is supposed to be grateful that this hot commodity chooses her or whatever. Excuse me while I vomit a little on the side.

This novel is honestly just another spin on the old trope of hot, rich, jerk CEO who takes a fancy on a commoner and controls every aspect of her life and changes her for "the better" aka someone who he prefers/shapes/can control... but make it two women. At this point it's surprising that there's no point in the story where Shen Tiantian becomes like one of the heroines of the story who runs away to different companies/countries or whatever to give the CEO a wake up call. But then again, the CEO had tied her with a baby, didn't she? <<less

This one is weird. There's Shan Yi, someone boring and honestly it feels like the author wanted to write her as a male protagonist but then changed their mind but could only come up with some ridiculous explanation as to why a woman could get another woman pregnant...

And Shan Yi kinda sucks as a partner. She's a bit controlling and she lies a lot. It doesn't help that Shen Tiantian can't make up her mind about anything, bouncing between being emotional and hating something and then thinking it's best for her later.

There's love "rivals" (yes, plural) that appear later but there would literally be zero tension if Shan Yi wasn't as boring as she is.

Any drama that occurs is really only related to Shen Tiantian and her...

This novel isn't terrible, but it is full of holes. The way the relationship develops makes little to no sense. Everything is just kind of spit-shined with our MC saying, "She's so attractive" and "I can't help but give in." But even that I can usually tolerate to a certain point. I don't have that high of requirements for believability when it comes to yuri fluff. What really killed me was one thing:

When she finds out she's 20-something days pregnant and considering an abortion, she's asks if the fetus will feel pain. ACCORDING TO THIS BOOK THE ANSWER IS YES?! Like what! I had to look it up to make sure I wasn't crazy, and yeah fetuses don't feel pain until 24-25 WEEKS. Just absolutely broke my brain that this is the reason they used to explain her not getting an abortion. My ability to suspend disbelief absolutely died at this point.

I usually don't leave a review, but this one just baffled me so much that I just HAD to write one.

The story is pretty clear and since this was a fluffy yuri fic, I didn't have much expectation for the plot. But when Shen Tiantian noticed her pregnancy and went to the doctor, I just couldn't take it anymore.

I lost my mind while reading the part where they discussed abortion. No respectable doctor would claim any fetus would feel pain at 28 days old. It doesn't even have a brain yet! Not to mention, you don't even need to have surgery for an abortion that early in the pregnancy.

And honestly, I didn't like how Shen Tiantian's friend did not recommended abortion. I mean, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against people who disagree with abortion. I just feel like the novel has an anti-abortion tone to it, and it weirded me out. Although, it could be my imagination.

However, I did like Shen Tiantian and Shan Yi's relationship in the beginning. Lost of kissing and we like seeing two beautiful women kiss.

I won't be continue reading this because of the aforementioned reasons, and reading the other reviews also made me less enthusiastic about the future chapters.

I suppose if you can turn off your brain and ignore a few things and skip a few painful to read chapters, it might be worth reading. Though you should probably save it for a time when you really have nothing else to read. <<less

Shan Yi is a gem of a woman and her and the MC's interactions is sugar sweet.

There's some needless repetition for the sake of drama, but the story is still good.

Both Shan Yi and Shen Tiantian has their positives and flaws. Both makes mistakes, and Tiantian's pregnancy mood doesn't help. The only negative I can say per chapter 74 is the introduction of a "villain" for the sake of drama which I think is totally unecessarry as Shan Yi and Tiantian's dynamic carry this novel more than enough. + The repetition of using the same plotpoint to cause friction between the two Leads. <<less
