Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. Our straight (?) bottom woke up ten years into the future and found himself on the bed of his childhood friend… At the start, the bottom was shocked to his very bones, but he soon quickly accepted this premise and found the whole situation to be rather amusing. Precisely then, the bottom once again went back to his timeline — back to when he and the top were just platonic childhood friends.

It's not my cup of tea to read about a spoilt, white rabbit, s*upid, impulsive, kindergarten kid with no sense of awareness, forget about self, not even of his surroundings at least. He doesn't have any goals, nor a way of living if he leads a spendthrift life. I am just amazed how his actions were cute. He is really really frustrating, I simply regret reading this novel.
Upon rereading, I've come to like the ML a little more than before. He's not perfect but he's not a bad character, at least to people he cares about. And his character development is probably one of the most significant in this series. In the first reading of this story, it was a little hard for me to appreciate these things because this novel is super eventful and things just kept happening continuously.
Despite what most reviews here say about the MC, I actually like the MC a lot. He is self-aware that he's not intelligent, and he knows his "strengths". But honestly he's just super naive and just likes to take things easy. My heart actually ached for him at various points because of how misguided and lost he is, though it is often played with a comedic undertone. If this wasn't a lighthearted slice of life story, and instead a cut throat system administrator story, he'll definitely become that "white lotus" that all the scum MLs will regret over. He's like the perfect target for insane, scummy people (which even the ML has potential of turning into LOL) but he recovers quickly but also slowly learns from past experiences. Still, he's too trusting of people thanks to the way people around him treats him, which is also unfortunate. I'm really glad that Mu Chutong exists to "show" everyone that the MC isn't some fragile object that needs to be handled with kids glove, instead he's teachable, albeit a little slower than most. In summary, the MC is just a ball of empathy and naivety
I don't really think there's anything wrong with the way he was living or anything but I am just not a huge fan of how he treats the MC, trying to keep MC from knowing the truth and "protecting" him, which also in turns causes MC to just keeps falling for different tricks. Like most of the characters in this book, he would just watch the MC mess his own life up repeatedly and just make snide comments here and there, also indulging the MC but not really guiding him?
He does have his own issues, especially with his family. In the end, when the MC and him starts communicating properly, the relationship does turn for the better and they start helping each other improve.
Feel a little sad and lonely for him as eventually everyone leaves the nest, but they'll still visit him. MC's brother: Even meaner towards the MC, but he'll team up with his father to destroy anyone who bullies the MC with his baseball bat LOL. I'm not overly fond of him to be honest, especially after knowing how he pursued the secretary, but it all worked out in the end soooo. MC's brother's secretary: I didn't remember any of their names haha. But I like him. The progression of him and the MC's relationship is quite nice to see. Mu Chutong:
The MVP and a really important person for the MC, although they don't really interact much directly. While reading the novel, I flipped through the comments and I saw this name being thrown around here and there. Originally I thought he would be another throwaway cookie cutter love rival that either clings on to the ML or starts falling for the MC, but to my surprise he's neither. I would really love to read a novel featuring him and that mafia guy as I really like his personality a lot. He's strong, unyielding and is the only person not caught up in the whole protective net over the MC. He goes by his own pace, and chases his own dreams. Is really clear minded throughout, he's a really refreshing character.
Haha I forgot all the names here but Mafia guy number one. A perfect example of a wolf in sheep's clothing. If I ever encounter such a person, I would definitely be duped like the MC so I am in no position to criticise lol.
I felt bad for him at first when the MC only had eyes for the ML and would not notice his antics to woo the MC, and being left hanging like that, gosh, I cringed hard and felt a super strong sense of second hand embarrassment for him.
But as the novel progresses, he suddenly transformed into his super sleazy predator, and it's a constant descent I was so caught off-guard. I expected him to be a piece of shit, but I did not expect him to be THE piece of shit. It's like, after shedding that sheep's clothing, he still continued to molt into various monsters, each worst than the former. And he bounces back with more perverse excitement to reattempt at hunting the MC? e____e
also he has a hairy chest apparently haha
He's your stereotypical goody two shoes villain. I don't think I would have disliked him that much if he didn't try to drag the MC's name through the mud to try to protect himself after the misunderstanding. Just another unfortunate victim to the MC's rollercoaster train of thought.
I wasn't super fond of him to begin with because he felt so fake, but all in all it ended up being justifed ^____^
Your stereotypical rich parent that wants the kid to be the best and cut off all possible nonsense. Would throw money to get rid of any "flies". He did have some sort of backstory to explain his behavior but eehhk. He's ok. I feel bad for him but I feel worse for the ML haha.
I really like how the ML's family habit of flattery and beating around the bush contrasted with the MC's family straight to the point, ex-gangster kind of habits.
