Spoiler Alert!

It wasn't non-con interms of consent to s*x but the shou didn't consent to be the bottom he wanted to top but Gong restrains him and tops him anyways. This happens towards the last few chapters of the book, and it kind of put me off, although the shou was okay with it afterwards but reading the smut scene was kind of disturbing for me. When I read there was no r*pe tag but now there is so read it at your own interest. Nonetheless the novel was definitely amazing up until that point. I'd still recommend for the plot and devotion of the two love birds for each other.

Danmeis I completed reading and they're bad tr*sh. They don't have great plot and I disliked them. It's in a historical Asian setting.
