Jiang Tang is a bit unlucky. She transmigrated. Her husband is an absolutely wicked villain beyond redemption in an Otome video game.

In the end, because he wanted to have the female lead by force, his family was broken up and ruined by the decent male lead, ending very miserably.

Besides that, their eldest son will become the future BOSS, his second son will become the vicious male supporting character, and the youngest daughter will become a very cunning, ignorant, and incompetent cannon fodder.

Jiang Tang is very anxious. If she was really the villain’s wife, then according to the plot, she will die from illness after a year.

Jiang Tang looked at her villain husband, rubbed her little hand, and said: “Bro, let’s get divorced. Children belong to you, the property belongs to me.”

The villain husband: ???

My husband, sons, and daughter are all wicked people.

In order to stay alive, Jiang Tang made painstaking efforts to transform the children into positive and upright good young people. At the same time, she also harvested her own love.

Till Now, I loved the interaction between rhe ML and Fl. And also the interactions with their children. All of them are cute little bundles of joy. A satisfying read.

But now, the author added the entertainment industry part. She took her kids to a variety show and then offended people. The offended people then messed with post production and ruined her image and all that sh*t you know, neitizens bashing them online and all that. I hate this in novels. Why not add a business woman, why always the same... more>> boring old actress/model. Please do something new. <<less

I really enjoyed this novel. It's a story of how a broken family became whole. Sure, ML was a negligent father, body host was a low self-esteemed woman with postpartum depression who'd abused her oldest child, and MC coming in didn't really care about husband and children, but as the nov progressed you get to see how everyone grows and changes to fit each other. Story will not be for everyone but I truly like how, for me, it stood out from all the other transmigration story I'd read.

In this novel the MC starts by building her relation with her kids. There are lots of errors in MC's steps, but she learns from her mistakes and takes time to improve her relation with kids, that's why I liked this novel a lot. I mean who doesn't love kids and the sweetness they give always in the novel. More importantly the MC and ML gives a lot of care and attention to their children. Their relation improves and develops because of them working together for their children.

I would say, the story is good and interesting. Although I gotta say, I want more of it. As I want to know the story of their daughter, Qian Qian and Ouyang, her second son and what about her fourth child?? Its a bit confusing for the ending. But overall the story is good and interesting.

To past time, I would recommend this. Not too long and it just nice.

MC is hilarious, strong, and savvy. ML experiences growth and there's interesting side plots for the side characters, mostly well explained. Binged on this till the end. You'll enjoy it. Nice portrayal of the MIL and system.

Overall I like this story, it's your usual cliche transmigration romance with female MC, kids and husband., also entertainment element.

What makes this story different is how the MC is OP but not really OP, in a sense she didnt use her golden finger or more like she didnt actually have any useable golden finger. It's just how MC living her transmigrated live and finally making a decision whether she wanted to go back or stay there. The situation and personalities with the children are as usual, overly dramatic, the typical... more>> case of children under 6yo but have extraordinary mindset which can only happen in cn wn.

With the husband, it's actually pretty realistic, how the husband and wife tried to understand their feeling and find what they actually wanted frome each other.

The one making me unable to give 4star, is the children too mature mindset. A 3yo that can understand about man woman, kissing, marriage, love just with watching tv dramas and understand the content, then decided to marry another 6yo. Where daheell can I find such kid?? Bigeyerolled <<less

I’m still unsure about this novel. At one point I’m loving it then I suddenly dislike it. I think I have a problem with the FL. She kind of annoys me and I don’t like her attitude. I do think the story is good so far thou. I almost dropped it then something that made me keep reading was...

Spoiler

her eldest son has a split personality problem. The way she reacts to it and decides to change his environment made me like her a lot more.

anyway, I’m still unsure whether or not I like this novel, but I would definitely recommend you to give it a go <<less

I don't have anything against strong women but the MC is too strong, she dominates the system that brought her back to life - she will blackmail him because he will die if she killed herself, girl you were dead you should have been grateful to him.

Her feelings for the children and her husband will develop slowly, because they aren't her children.

She resume her everyday life right after being brought back to life, shouldn't she stop a minute and think about the meaning of life or something.

This is surprisingly good. With this kind of title I didn't expect the plot to be this well written.

I especially enjoy how each character personality shine in later chapters and how their interaction evolve.

An enjoyable read ^^

Really love this story. There's never a dull moment in it. The character development in it is a major attraction for me. It's not your typical transmigration story that's for sure.

That last epilogue with Chu Yi? Don't like. At all. The story was good. Though it is definitely unbearable and frustrating at the first few parts. But, it was all fine till the end.. Then the epilogue happened. That part with Chu Yi ruined it all for me. I'd rather that ... more>>
Spoiler

he didn't have anyone else. Like it's already enough that the other two got their other half. Why can't they spare him? It was just irritating to read at that point. I was happy to read the end but seeing that epilogue wiped out all the good feelings I have for this story. I didn't even bother reading Qianqian and Ouyang's story. Too sickened by Chu Yi's epilogue. Does the author hate him so much or something? Disgusting.

At about chapter 52 (little over a third of the story), I was done. This story is just a mishmash of ideas. Maybe they go into detail on one aspect later but I was already feeling like I was punishing myself by chapter 40.

The FL/MC is meant to be a strong independent woman but she comes across as selfish and asinine. The ML is aggressive, shallow and just as selfish. They both admit they're terrible parents and the FL tries to change but the ML just seems to be led... more>> around by his pen*s. I can handle the aggressive want-to-bone attitude but they made that his main trait.

There is a system who is apparently monitoring multiple people. Outside the amus**ent that brings (there isn't much), it's not done overly well. It's the FL's main source of being "badass" when she refuses but she still does what the system requests her to do.

Then there is the mental issues of the son. While the story writes it as justifiable due to his trauma, it just adds to the too-much plot that is going on. There is just so much happening in the first third of the book that I couldn't find myself developing an attachment to any of the characters or plotlines.

Spoiler

We have a potential 2nd ML (or villain) who has the thought process that he's an anomaly. The FL rescues him from a fire and this is what prompts the ML to actually give her the divorce (because apparently rushing into a fire to save people means something other than a need to save people).
Following that, there is the 2nd kid's teacher who tries to seduce the ML. He gets her fired so she tells the 2nd kid that his mother, the FL, did it to pit them against each other. Which has the FL take the kid to the ex-teacher's house for her to force the teacher to explain (what?).
We have the random next-door neighbour (who is coincidentally the ori-ML) and is also the Eldest kid's deskmate. They don't like each other. But he quickly starts crushing on the FL's daughter (despite the fact that they're really young).
The FL gets "help" from the other people the System is monitoring but it just ends badly for her each time (it was funny the first two times, it was old by the third).
The Eldest Kid runs away when he overhears them talking about getting him a psychiatrist.

All of that in 50 chapters.

[collapse]

So yeah. Pacing is bad. Characters are bad. Story is all over the place. If this had one of those things, I'd probably still read it and recommend it but it's just too much bad. <<less

Promising but lost me along the way. Dropped.

I like a gung-ho boss bit*h FL as much as the next person, but something about this one was a bit grating. ML is a par-for-the-course brooding, cold, big man CEO. The children dynamic was interesting, what with the twists with the kids psyche. But this whole back and forth between the main couple was not fun? Like I could feel that the journey felt like it was gonna be long, wretched and eye-rolling in an ‘oh jeez, not again’ typa way. I... more>> only made it 50 chapters in, but you can kinda get the sense of how the story is going to progress. So not for me, but if you enjoy dog blood drama, here’s to the slog. <<less

The story's a bit hard to stomach in the beginning and towards the end. Overall it was humorous, tragic, and a tad angsty.

So? r*pe. Yes. He r*ped the original owner of the body. The circumstances of how they got together make them both victims since they were set up by the original owner's mother who sought wealth.

But later on in their marriage, he often took her body without her consent as much as he liked. s*x without consent is r*pe. Doesn't matter if you're in a relationship, legally binding or... more>> not. Even after MC enters the scene, he'd approach her with the mindset "I can have my way with you since we're married." He had sexually assaulted her.
Spoiler

I'm talking about the party in S city scene. He dragged her into a corner, she didn't know who it was. Not knowing if she'd lose her life, she rather just get r*ped and try to ask for him to wear a cond*m after he stripped her bare and nearly forced himself on her. That's when he turned the lights on and she finally got to see her perpetrator who was her husband in name.

[collapse]
Aside from that case, she consented when he got her into the mood and with the condition of having protected s*x.

ML is also pitiful in his own right. Their entire family of 5 is. People carrying their baggage were forced together, having children out of accidents, and kept having children and the baggage increased and passed along to them. And then our MC gets to smooth out this mess as a single woman who had no experience with maintaining a marriage, less to speak of child-rearing. It's all trial and error. A process of learning.

ML will make mistakes, and so will she, but it's all about making rights out of wrongs as much as they can.

I feel split on the story. The kids were annoying and cute, it definitely succeeded past the normal degree of novel kids being poster mascots or story prop tools. ML tried to fix himself as much as possible but towards the end, he still ticked me off. For thrills, the author would exaggerate events a bit too much, too many plot conveniences here and there, and too many rainbow farts blown at MC that felt like padding word count.
Characters would act unnatural during plot twists. Character growth was decent.
Spoiler

The most BS moment in the story had to be the death of ML's adoptive mother Lin Ai Guo. Getting remarried only a week after her death seems extremely inappropriate, especially for Asians. Whatever the reason may be, saying oh, life is short w/e, is highly inappropriate to celebrate shortly after a family member's passing. At least wait 49 days or 3 months....
The wedding is okay, but New Year wasn't celebrated in the manner that it should have been because of her mother-in-law's passing??? I...?????? WA????

Then, right after, there was the incident of the family visiting their daughter's crush/ogML. He's being abused and seeing this, ML turned around and... left? Said for the sake of the child's EGO the kid should contact him themselves for help? A 7-year-old. BRO. Yeah sure, let's treat the nanny in the corner throwing daggers with her eyes at the abused child like air and act like it's for the sake of his... ego. ML was extremely disdainful towards MC as well when he reproached her about this too. Right back to his old ways of being overly controlling and egoistic.

There's no guarantee in the world that his tormentors wouldn't accidentally kill him during the abuse, there's no guarantee his tormentors wouldn't find him trying to contact someone else for help.
Then, when he did reach out for help, he suffered another bout of beating. On their way back in his beaten up state, he went to buy a christmas/birthday gift and... the employee just acted like NOTHING's wrong. 7 yr old with bleeding open wounds on the head and messy clothes and hair, sure yeah marry Christmas thanks for the purchase? LOL I CAN'T!!!!! And ofc later in the hospital, and patched up this obviously domestically abused child, nobody alerts authorities because the law sleeps when protagonists are involved.

The author is a little bit sick in their head for writing extremely graphic things and then sprinkling sugar on gore like nothing.

[collapse]

The entire story didn't make too much sense to me because the one making up for the mistakes of the mother isn't the person who caused it and the ML wasn't making it up to the person he caused harm to. (Sure he had been condescending towards her and there's 1 time r*pe attempt but it can't amount to the suffering OG went through) I'm sure the original doesn't care and doesn't want to because she was the one who took up the initiative to leave.
Regardless, I feel it's quite irrelevant for a random person to 'make up' to a family she didn't owe jack to. MC is unattached to her original world except for her career, if she had a family and lovers, she'd be eager to return. IDK why the author made MC take on the identity of the mother except for her new family to accept her quicker. <<less

Love the characters, their growth and progression. FL is awesome and super decisive. ML went through a huge transformation and became a hen pecked husband. Very entertaining story.

No r*pe whatsoever in this story. The original body need LS’s money, so she never said no when they were copulating. At most, it was dubious consent because the male lead knew that she wasn't enjoyed it.

And for Jing Tang, later she even initiating it because well, she had needs too.

For the story itself, it has nice pacing. Big respect to ML, she gave the kids discipline and kindness even when they were not her biological kids.

This book is a gem! There so many drama and emotional traumas and yet the heartwarming healings. It’s is so good. I really recommend this novel. Love he FL, and the ML too, the bantering between them was so funny even their children were so cute. The most touching one is the 1st child. His development is really well written. There’s alot of humour in this book especially FL, she quite a character, ML also abit dominated at first, but you will know his backstory later. And become very sweet... more>> hubby and cute father. The children were the main point of the book. I truly recommended this read. Don’t waste time on the reviews. Thank you <<less

@whateverlol1, "rape" and "r*pe victim becomes lover" definitely were absent from the tags when I read this, so please don't victim-blame other readers for getting upset that triggering and problematic content isn't forewarned. Probably someone keeps maliciously removing these crucial tags from the list. I added them back in, so if anyone reads this review and those tags are missing, you know what happened.

I am honestly curious as to why some people hate ML, he is honestly a silly man, sweet, and rational. Except for how he was indifferent to the ogFL, which is quite fine, there is nothing bad about him. Oh! And a little bit scene at a party where he forced kiss her while blindfolded, it is wrong of him to frightened her like that. Aside from the cold treatment the FL received which is acceptable because she treats him and the children that way too, there is seriously nothing... more>> to hate about him! Trust me! He made mistake and he owned it, show remorse and apologize.

This story is good and heartwarming, I recommend this novel. <<less

Not perfect but entertaining. You got lots of laugh and also sad events. Both MC ML and the children characters are quite well developed and growing. Fast and short, nice to read and good translation. Expect some loopholes, as it is light novel, but still fun to read

Not agreed with the 1 star reviews as I've read worse ML that I dropped the novel, while those reviewers completed the novel.
