Xu Zheyi is a 30 year old actor. Abandoned by his friend after co-signing a loan, he was burdened with a massive debt. Without any foreseeable way out, he was reduced to acting in a gay AV in order to make enough money and pay off the debt.

Ruka is a twenty-some year old popular AV actor. He lost a bet when he was drunk and had to act in a gay AV.

I forgot I read this a long time ago and ended up reading again. It's a good read for those who like smut. It's short and sweet and the ML here is a real cutie, a bit simple-minded but a really lovable character. I like MC less because he was a tad indecisive and wishy-washy about his feelings for ML, but his indecisiveness is coherent, due to his painful past.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It was a bit difficult at first because of how the MC was homophobic, but there was character development! I love when the ML falls first, so that was a plus for me. The smut was quite good. As for the plot itself, minus the MC's inner turmoil from his trauma, sexuality, and whatnot, it is lacking others have said. As a smut novel, this very well may be a 11/10, but the characters aren't very expanded upon, though... more>> the leads' dynamic is enjoyable. I'd say this is a relatively enjoyable novel that doesn't overstay its welcome. <<less

This was a quick read. It was enjoyable, even though the ML and the MC are a bit immature. However, they got better with each chapter. It’s something I would recommend if you want something quick to read and something that doesn’t have a heavy plot.

It's really too sweet and short. Now I understand why some people say they really want an extra chapter. This sweet story is really too short of it. They actually evolved very well, in a subtle, very real, and touching way. I regret why I suspend this story for nearly 2 years. I was so s*upid just because sinopsus of the story thought this was so dramatic.

Thanks for the hard work translating~

I would say this was a. 7.5 / 10 for me.

I love the smut, but then the Arthur had more of a tendency to skip it, which is weird, since this is supposed to be 18+ novel. Like, just do it all the way each time you mention papapa but I digress. I wanted more smut [cries... in the corner] LOL. Also, there's some plot holes with and which shouldn't even be in the plot line.... more>>

Like mentioning that toxic friend over and over. I don't know if friend A was the toxic friend, or he just had a bunch of toxic friends in ML friend group. But there was no resolution for it and it just felt empty I was hoping the MC would step in and show him the light because the ML really seemed naive and being led around the nose bio. A lot of people and it was very concerning. And then the father watching his p*rn and giving advice is really f*cking weird. I know some families can be like that or whatever, but I wish we could have delved more into that. Maybe seeing the family Dynamics would have helped clear that up, like they're just a goofy family. And then I would have been okay with that, but they never brought that back into scope. I started to think weird theories that his father was dating a guy which is mentioned in novel and that guy is also ML friend who's been filming him in AV and his dad is just OK with it

I have to say because then it doesn't make the story as fluffy as it should be.

But overall, it's still a good read It would have been a 10 for me if all the points I mentioned were Solved. but I recommend and I'll probably reread it. <<less

As the author writes in the last chapter "Due to the novel description, a lot of people pass this story by. But it’s just so great!"

I have passed on this novel for this exact reason many times and now that I have read it, I wish to have read it sooner. The smut was great (like nosebleed material), the plot too was sweet and there is a happy ending, cannot ask for more.

I always coming back to reread this fluff and smexy masterpiece!!

I adore these two interaction so much, the smexy scenes are great too (//nosebleed).

The only downside is there wasn't enough for me! Would like to beg the author for extra chaps please uwu.

I really wish there's a phycical book with extra chaps avaliable I'm really wanna throw my money for it.

As is mentioned by most reviewers, I was originally skeptical about reading this. But eventually, I was lured in by the short length and the high ratings and have absolutely no regrets. The Main Plot: The MC (Xu Zheyi), after being cheated by a male peachblossom and forced into debt, is forced by his circumstances to perform in a gay AV (adult video). He goes into it with teeth gritted and mounting psychological shadows. Only to be paired up with an outwardly cold but inwardly soft puppy of a gong... more>> (the ML, Ruka), who ends up mistaking the MC’s tsundere-ness as a crush.

Based on the summary and the book cover, it almost seems like this is 100% spicy. When, in fact, the smut is only 25% of the content. It’s not a mast*rbatory work, that’s for sure. The smut is explicit, but the ‘professional atmosphere’ gives it a distinct ascetic feel. Put simply, this is more about the fast-paced sweet and fluffy love than anything else! Based on the character’s, I had thought it would have lots of knives, but nope. It’s pretty much mostly up and up. With just the slightest bit of drama and angst. Like, so slight that it’s as thin as needle.

If you’re at the right age, I definitely recommend that you give it a shot! Don’t hesitate for so long like it did LOLOL, I guarantee that it’s a lot more wholesome than it initially appears.

RATING: 3.75/5

Skipping my usual breakdown because it’s a pretty short work. It’s definitely not as complex as most works, so giving it too high of a rating is not possible. But... My overall view is that the character’s are a lot of fun, the writing is good (I especially liked the MC’s inner monologue LOL), the translation clean and easy to read, the setting interesting, and the plot fulfilling. It’s well worth the read~ For personal enjoyment alone, I straight up gave it a 5 star review. Undoubtedly though, if I were to have done my usual breakdown, this would be at the 3.5-4 rating. Hence the 3.75/5. <<less

So the translator once said..."Due to the novel description, a lot of people pass this story by." I feel the same, because I did the same T-T.

I read this on a whim, and wasn't that inclined to read it either due to the name and description. But the moment I started... wow. It was steamy and sweet and the s*xual tension is just off the roof.

Morale of the story: don't have the same prejudice as me and give this novel a try. You won't regret it. Whatever you're expecting... more>> is not going to match up with the story.

There was a bit of a very minor loose end I was hoping the author would tie up, thus the 4.5 rating.

Wish the author would resolve how iffy ML's friend was by getting him into the AV business (possible lying to him about losing a bet, also filming his AV videos, and telling ML his smile is ugly so no one else saw his smile). Of course, ML doesn't care, but like...

Another loose end is MC telling ML to not smile in front of anyone else but him <knowing ML thought it was because his smile was unattractive (the opposite really) because his was shy>. I mean that issss an insecurity and wish the MC told him the truth later on (he probably did, but wish that was included in the story)

The best thing that's happened to me this month. I'm running on low sleep right now but I couldn't care less. It's a perfect mixture of romantic and smut-iness. I just love how the author has written both characters, we have the MC who has a self-realisation moment and an ML who is actually super adorable and innocent in romance! And quite possessive too. UGH my only complaint is that it is a bit short so it has skimmed certain things, like ML's friend for example, but with the ending... more>> I'm still quite satisfied. Every time Xu Zheyi clapped his hands to the little white furball and said, "Baby, " the one who came over first was always Ruka. 😍🥰🥰🥰

I want to say thank you for your hard work, I so liked the novel and also appreciated the translation. Both factors made for an easy read.

The novel I find fresh an endearing and I was just sorry it was only 31 chapters. I enjoyed both characters very much, foud them full of charm and could not get enough. The s*x is easy and natural, no hard feeling, no violence, just some teasing.

The plot looks like a pretest to bring about some smut but it get to be dipper than... more>> that as you read on. I also liked that the story evolves in Taiwan and it has a light feeling to it.

I recommend this novel, is sweet and juicy. I also bookmarked the translator site as I think she did a great job. Look forward to your next translation. <<less

4-4.5* - straight-forward smutty story, but the plot is fine and the characters are fleshed out quite well.

I enjoyed this short story. The smut felt quite natural, better than most. The translation is good and the writer obviously has talent. The MC was interesting as someone who falls on hard times and has to do p*rn to get his financial situation sorted. He struggles with coming out of the closet, but the reason behind his struggle makes sense. The ML is adorable and there are some mildly funny scenes where... more>> he attempts to woo the MC. <<less

If you want fluff and smut, then go on. The smut is nice, the end is cute too.

There were, however, few things I did not really like or found lacking. I mainly blame it on the shortness of the chapters.

... more>> Our MC does not have much of a personality and his decision making does not really make much sense: his decision to start filming GV is not really convincing. Like, why would you decide to join gay p*rn industry, if you want to vomit at the thought of oral sex?

Ruka has at least some personality, even though their relationship seems forced.

I was really happy when the topic of shame (regarding being a p*rn actor) was brought up. Yet, it just dissolved into nothingness. I think that there could've been a really great part where the new actors would have to face their friends, etc. And try to deal with being labeled as "pe*verts". That does not really happen. Also, the MC's relationship with his ex is really shallowly explained.

This author basically mainly focuses on telling, rather than showing through emotions or actions. <<less
