A good story and decent translations whose mistakes aren't terribly jarring,

BUT, the author has some problems with consistency, they skip a lot of things that would make for a pleasant read or are a necessary explanation, repetition and pointless filler start becoming noticeable as you get further in, the terms the translators/editors use aren't terribly good, and the novel is both locked behind adwalls and as you get further into the story the chapters are separated into pieces so you only get to read a short bit before you... more>> hit the next adwall. It feels like the same rotten experience of trying to watch a TV show which is polluted by commercials every 5-10 minutes. Sure we get to read it for free, I don't mind suffering from a few ads to reward the authors, translators and editors for their work, but it's way too much on this novel. It's a frequent and never-ending immersion break. I'd have rate this 4* if it weren't for the terrible adwall. <<less
