In his previous life, Chi Fang was taken care of by his family and grew up. When the Chi family fell and his parents and brothers were not there, Chi Fang propped up the Chi family alone. Relying on several projects of Yuchi Group, Chi Fang barely kept the Chi family.

However, he did not hold on. After rebirth, Chi Fang returned to high school. This time, he decided to study hard, protect his family, and reach the pinnacle of life.

-After around chapter 50, the author overdid the time skip aspect. It turned out super rushed. It was a fine fluffy slice of life kinda novel but the fact that the author didn't balance the timeline ruined the whole thing. Even my attention started to slip up.

-Even the peak points of the story are summarized in the end. The only positive thing was the mothers of the two MLs are the best. They were the real queens of this story. They protected their children from homophobes. That was so satisfying.

-The... more>> gender roles were so clear that it threw me up a little bit and 2nd ML's character is a wall.

-The monotone study paragraphs were occupying the story so much that I can't even give it a 3 star anymore. It doesn't deserve it. <<less

It's a light-read novel about rebirth, bit of revenge, and romance between the reborn MC and the cold but infatuated ML. It is not an exciting novel, not much emotional ups and downs. I think it's actually simple and mellow.

I came in expecting another dogblood business-romance rebirth story, but actually it's just another cute and simple high school romance.

The characters are pretty good. The MC is the baby of the family and doted on by both his parents and his older brothers, while the ML is the WN representation of the "get out of my school" crush tumblr meme. The MC's best friend is hilarious.

Very light and contains a little bit of drama. The story progressed just right between ML and MC. I wish they showed more extras of ChiZheng and XuGuang tho.

Overall, it was a pleasant story after reading heavy BL plotlines. It will help you relax your mind with tins of fluff and face-slapping.

If you have nothing else to read (like me) this isn't a bad one to read.

Cute fluffy story but rushed in parts and lengthy in others, the writing just isn't well done. The story just felt more of an outline than an actual story.

I like the main characters but they could have been developed so much more than they were. His past life is a bit confusing and it seemed like the author was going to go more into it but then made it different? The older brother and father... more>> were there to make up numbers and the 2nd brother was ok. The villains were meh, so much potential there.

The ending came out of no where, not sure if the author didn't have the last half planned out or was rushed to finish. Also many inconsistencies as another reviewer mentioned. <<less

Beautiful and sweet story... loved the characters... a bit emotional in one of the chapters towards the end when the MC realizes what happened and how he died in his past life and the extras were an icing to the cake... the MC and ML were a match made in heaven... thanking the author and the translator for bringing us this piece of gem 💎🙏

OMG, so atm this novel is being translated to Spanish and couldn't wait so I came to read it in English. It took me around 2 or 3 days.

It was really enjoyable! MC was kinda cute and ML too, I wanted to hug them so much!

Since the start you don't exactly know what happened in the original life and I think wasn't till Ch. 50 or 60-something that you start to get more info about it so I really recommend being patient.

The extras about the 2nd pairing were very cute... more>> and the other extras were not really necessary, but finally closed everything and let you finish with a light heart.

Super recommended. <<less

Our ML, Yu Mo is seriously so... pure and precious! He is an innocent young boy who just started to learn what love is. I like how he is very observant take a lot care of every little things for MC. And how he is straightforward with his words and never lie.

And our MC, I think he already like ML early on in this story based on how he pay extra attention to theML, and how he got annoyed and start sulking when ML ignore him or treat him coldly.

It was nice! A good read, honestly there's a lot of teasing which can make you feel grieved sometimes (a maiden-like feeling) so if it's not your cup of tea or if you're extra sensitive to these type of stimulants then you might want to be cautious about it when reading. Other than that, I enjoyed it! Not particularly a big fan of timelines stuff, but it's nothing too big nor complicated. Was worried if there's going to be a bit of 'amnesia' thing going on - not really? But... more>> there is one instance that I think wasn't tagged. Spoilers if you're anxious:

MC died in his last life after going on 1 date with the ML, they did actually meet and got to hang out as lovers. But it was really traumatic to figure out someone you saw last night just died the next morning.

Other than that, don't count on the face slapping to be good. This is only a few good novel where everyone is really merciful. Honestly it felt like hitting cotton, but you don't have to be fixated on that.

I enjoyed it alot, a good solid novel. <<less

  3. I like that MC is not manipulative in approaching ML, because if not that'll leave a bad taste to this novel.
  4. Basically both MC and ML are lovable!
  5. No complex plot, simply pluff and more pluff.

So far I've really enjoyed this. I did think that the description of the novel here is kind of misleading? Going in I thought that the MC was going to be kind of a manipulative white lotus who approached the ML for business reasons. And that the ML's inexplicable fear would be because he could sense something was off.

But honestly the MC is pretty chill? A lot of bad stuff happened to him and his loved ones before he was reborn and it weighs on him. After rebirth he doesn't... more>> actively try to seek revenge on everyone that wronged him. Most of the face-slapping occurs after being provoked. He just tries to do his best to avoid his past mistakes and help his loved ones avoid theirs.

MC does have a cold calculating side, but so do a lot of other characters in this novel. I think the whole, "the bunny seemed black, " thing is because MC is described as being kind of excessively cute and beautiful and weak, so him having average amounts of guile seems shocking. <<less
